Another coffee shop on the Huntsville Craft Coffee Trail. Very good coffee. I was recommended the El Camino. It was great. Wonderful atmosphere, very airy with modern and vintage decor and lots of live plants. There is plenty of seating and parking. Will come again.

Interesting coffee shop with great people, tasty scones and fantastic breakfast burritos. Jesus my redeemer, lots of indoor spots to sit with different rooms and unusual decorations, trophies, plants, chairs and the like. Many outdoor seating areas some are covered. It is a bit of a drive from Florence AL but we do not have any coffee spots like this. Be sure to check out the 100 year old bathroom door.

Neat atmosphere. Coffee was good. Not my favorite, but definitely worth checking out if youre on this side of town.

Ive made two trips to Gold Sprint now. Its an attractive, fun little coffee shop. The interior is nicely decorated, with a variety of seating options and bright, colorful furniture. Coffee and beer are served, with a few limited food options. On my visits, theres been a hummus plate, everything bagels with cream cheese, bacon, egg, and cheese croissants, and a few other breakfast-y, pastry type items.Although Im not a coffee drinker, my companions are, and they liked their coffees. If youre into Instagramming your food and drink, Gold Spring it a great choice -- they make several unique, beautiful drinks perfect for the gram! Ive gotten hot chocolate, and its good, too. Maybe on the milky side for my taste, but definitely enjoyable. Ive also ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. The egg was a touch rubbery, but the bacon was super flavorful and the croissant delightfully crumbly. Some surprisingly good fresh grapes were served on the side. Prices are medium and wait can be a little longer than youd expect, but youre probably visiting Gold Sprint to hang out a little while anyway, so no big deal.Overall, Gold Sprint is a nice place to relax, work on your laptop, or catch up with friends.

This place is amazing! Top notch service! Heath and Jacob were extremely professional. Very warm welcoming from the moment I came through the door. They have a great selection of food, coffee, and even a bar option. The facilities are clean. The whole atmosphere has a great feel to it. I highly recommend trying this place out.

I stopped by Gold Sprint this morning after a doctor appointment for which I had to “fast”. Once I reached my car I knew that my day was not going to be worth anything unless I found coffee. Not just any coffee. Good coffee. So I whipped out my phone and searched for “coffee shop near me”. There were quite a few options that popped up, but one of them caught my eye; Gold Sprint. I demanded Google maps guide me there immediately, of course.Gold Sprint is off the beaten path but not too far off. It’s about a block north of Bob Wallace avenue about a mile west of Memorial Parkway. The building itself is kind of odd for a coffee shop. It looks like it may have been a warehouse or even a car service station in some distant past. Naturally, the owners have done a lot to the outside to make it look much better, and it has a nice appeal in an “urban up-cycled” sense.Park was a tad tricky because they were pretty crowded and I didn’t see all that many spaces. As I left I noticed there were more on the other side of the building. I’ll know better next time.Inside I found a warm, welcoming place with a sort of tap-room meets bohemia vibe. Plenty of space, comfy seats and several tables.I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also have food. I immediately zeroed-in on the breakfast burrito and a latte. In a couple of minutes I had everything. The latte was really good. I usually prefer darker roasts, but even though the roast was a bit “brighter” than I love, I still found it to be an excellent drink. The burrito was eggs, cheese, and bacon on a croissant (my go-to breakfast bread). It also was very tasty.As I sat down to eat I took note of the décor and studied it in a little more detail. The shop logo hangs on the wall and features a black background with gold trim. Continuing with the gold theme, the place is bursting at the seams with gold sports trophies for marshal arts. I asked the barista about it and she said the owner found them at a bargain and thought they matched the “gold” styling he was going for, so he bought them. Lots of them. I also found a stuffed fox, a couple of bicycles, a (synthetic) polar bear rug, a small fireplace, a loads of plants. The sofa I claimed look like a mid-century design and was placed by an interesting glass coffee table with an eclectic mix of “artifacts” in it — including an animal skull (it didn’t seem as weird as it sounds here). All in all the décor added to the cool and welcoming environment and helped make the stop very memorable.I look forward to taking my wife there and trying some of the other food items, too. Oh, and they also have beer on tap and wine there, too. That’s something I don’t find often in coffee shops. But, hey, they pull it all off pretty well.If you’re looking for a nifty coffee shop that’s not a chain and is off the beaten path (a little), I highly recommend giving Gold Sprint a try.

Great coffee and for the same prices youll get at any similar shops. Decor is nice though they werent doing the masking thing right now.. they definitely get busy and a little loud though there was a side room for a more quiet area which was nice

I guess we didnt listen hard enough when they said it was drip coffee. It dripped all over us in the car through the bottom of the lid on all sides. The lids couldnt go on any tighter. Maybe its made to strike those who send paper cups to the landfill. Shoulda brought your reusable cups you chumps.

They always make such amazing coffee. Its never too quiet or too loud and the aesthetic is so so cute and funky (in a good way funky). Plus they have little sticker packs with some of the funniest and well designed stickers I’ve seen from a business in Huntsville!

Came here for a work function...The location seems very sketchy; several in our party discussed about moving cars to the back where we could watch them as the business is located in (how do I put this nicely) an economically depressed part of town. I got to the counter and noticed their cups that have the stylized face of a woman wearing sun glasses with a reflection that says Huntsville in the lenses and the words Madison is not Huntsville. All I could think was thank God for that because a lot of Huntsville proper including were Gold Sprint is located, is a real dump. Condescending cups aside, I saw what appeared to be blueberry scones on the counter. I asked if they were blueberry scones and the the girl behind the counter confirmed that they were indeed blueberry scones.They were NOT blueberry scones, they were rosemary scones that had some blueberries in them, emphasis on the rosemary. There was so much rosemary in the scone that the inside is green and stringy with fresh rosemary and they added more fresh rosemary sprigs on top hidden under the icing. Too cute by half and truly disgusting. I tried but could not choke down more than a bite. The business could have at least warned me of their strained effort to be edgy. I choked my bite down with what I estimate was about 4 ounces of orange juice @ $3 a cup.Coworkers said the breakfast burritos tasted better than my scone but were disappointed they were made in advance and therefore could not be modified to leave out unwanted ingredients.Bottom line, Id go to any of the many coffee shops in Madison over Gold Sprint. They are cheaper, taste MUCH better, are located in far nicer neighborhoods where I dont have to worry about by car being broken into and dont have cups disparaging other parts of town.I read some other reviews which commented on the bright lighting. When we went, I was actually surprised at how dark it was inside. I would have preferred a well lit place but did not factor that into my rating as it wasnt particularly important to me. In hindsight, had the lighting been better, I might have seen some of the rosemary embedded under the icing...oh well - win some lose some. As an alternative, Id recommend Rocket City coffee located in Madison. It doesnt look like much from the outside and is much smaller than Gold Sprint but it is well lit, staffed by very pleasant workers and although I am sure their pastries were bought from a commercial factory bakery, they were delicious. Although the price was only about a dollar cheaper, the OJ portion was double.

Spacious with lots of room to spread out. A nice vibe, and with beer on tap makes a nice afternoon place to get together with folks. Also, one of the more consistent espressos in town.

Nitro brew is excellent. Breakfast burrito is very good outside of the weird texture of the potatoes. It came with a delicious salsa and grapes. Didnt care much for the signature matcha latte.

The atmosphere is really cool and the baristas are nice, But Ive tried the coffee here a few times and each time it was really watery and weak.

Just stopped by Gold Sprint coffee this morning and I LOVED IT. There is SO much seating inside with more than 6 feet of distance between each little bubble. I got an iced latte with caramel and it was superb. The area has succulents and greenery all around and it matches the vibe of the place perfectly.

Very eclectic and wonderful place to enjoy some java. I am normally not a fan of Ethiopian coffee., But this place does it perfectly.. Also, try the Avacado Toast.

Today was my second visit to Gold Sprint. The food is really well done, presentation, taste, coffee and design of the cafe.The downside is the service. Both times I’ve had servers who were just plain curmudgeons. I am not sure what’s going on there. There wasn’t a line, place was busy but not packed, just real surly service. Needs some tweaking or staff customer service training. If someone asks for a coffee without spicy syrup you don’t respond snarky and say “yea, that’s just a Mocha.” Ho, ho,ho 😩Otherwise this place would be packed!!

Such a wonderful environment I really love this place, and they have matcha! But I would really like to see some type of vegan/ gluten-free options on the menu to accommodate more people

I like the taste of coffee. Black is my normal choice. At Gold Sprint their drinks are creative and worth a try. Give it a shot. The atmosphere is pretty neat too. Lots of plants, my wife digs that.

Went for the first time today. We had lattes (I had a regular latte with 3 raw sugars and my sis had a lavender latte), both excellent. We ordered the avocado toast but had them put it on the everything toasted bagel instead - it was delicious!!! Loved the flavor! Hoping they do expand the food options a bit. We enjoyed the atmosphere. We are hitting all of the coffee shops on the “Downtown Huntsville Coffee Trail” Facebook page - will be back soon...

Gold Sprint has an awesome atmosphere and super friendly staff! I dont even like coffee, but the cappuccino I had was so good! They have compostable straws and glassware to reduce waste. Theyre helping to expand a growing arts community in Huntsville with their investment in land near Lowe Mill. Give it a try!

The coffee is absolutely amazing, almost as good as the service and covid precautions.Dine in is available outside and in a separate, socially distant and well ventilated indoor area, which is in a different room from where you order and pick up. Employees wear masks and require customers to do the same. The place is also very clean and well ventilated.Handicap accessible, inclusive, covid compliant

The atmosphere makes me feel like I planted a tree for a good cause and the hippies will one day dance on my grave for the good I’ve done. There is a 100 year old door that I slammed once - and I thought I would be crucified for the infraction! However I only got my hand slapped! Amazing.

Two big thumbs up! Just what this neighborhood (and Huntsville) needed. A very cool spot for coffee early and beer later. Sure to be an anchor business for growth in the area around Lowe Mill. The coffee is fresh and perfectly prepared - I had just a basic drip and it was delicious. Also an easy place to sit and work. Will definitely come back often.

Cool bigger city feel, true urban art infused cafe experience. First time, so Im not yet well versed on the range of coffee and tea wonders available.

Decor was 10/10, service was 11/10. Specialty coffees were not good concepts, but were well-executed with high-quality ingredients. Someone else might like it more.

Lovely shop, excellent atmosphere and specialty coffee. With a toddler its the easiest coffee shop in town because its just loud and spacious enough for him to bother less people!

They offer a decent variety, trendy vibe, great parking, seasonal offerings, & housemade syrups. Definitely more on the pricey side as most coffee drinks hit at $6+.

The menu is fresh and the coffee is great! (My favorite item off their menu is the breakfast burrito.) The baristas are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

It is more than just a nice ambience. It has excellent light and hearty food and gets an A grade for their various coffee drinks and espresso. Modern style coffee, classic options. Also Ive never been there when the nitrogen cold brew has run out.

This place is great! Decoration is special! Combination of traditional and modern style. I love that red carpet there it’s very beautiful and has made the environment so warm. Usually when I go there, I get Cafe latte with caramel taste which is the best ever.

Lattes are amazing, burritos are equally as amazing. Atmosphere is very relaxed. Love this little place.

Solid. Solid gold. Great coffee shop, top shelf coffee and a great beer selection. Combine all that with their love of and support for outdoor endurance sports like biking and running and you got yourself a great place to hang before and after your ride or your run. People here are real nice too.

This is such a cool coffee shop! It hasnt been open long at all, but Im already a big fan. There are plenty of places to sit and hang out (plus the outdoor seating will be great if it ever cools off a little bit), and the drinks are delicious. I love the specialty coffee scene in Huntsville, and Gold Sprint is an excellent addition. I highly recommend it!

I tried the cold brew and it was not bad. The only qualm I have is the fact that they do not serve decaf espresso drinks here. My wife is very caffeine sensitive and loves coffee very much so it was a shame when we couldnt try anything in that realm. I think you should seriously consider offering decaf options. Other than that, the staff is very polite.

Not the biggest fan of their coffee or avocado toast. the toast had the sea salt on it which was too crunchy. with the whole vibe of the shop anyways it kinda creeped me out. i loved the idea before they opened, but i think they were trying to do too much they didnt focus enough on perfecting something good. (not trying to be mean at all just giving my opinion)

Great local coffee place! Mom & pop feel, but modern coffee, light food, and beer. I buy gift cards and hand them out as thank yous to friends from here to ensure more people learn about it. Highly recommend.
