I have done business with them in the past and had ok service. I really appreciate having a local option. I called to check availability on a part and was told that they have it on hand. When I asked for the price, the rep said Our prices are on our website and didnt voluntarily offer the cost. 1) Im not on your website, I called you on the phone. 2) After I got off of the phone, I found the price you finally hatefully quoted is three time the price of most reputable online vendors. 3) Since you prefer I shop online, I will, and your competitors won out on this one. I generally expect to pay a little more locally but not three fold. Either way, whatever I choose, I expect to receive friendly service.

I had searched in countless sites today to find this gasket part for our lovely 1991 GE refrigerator with the refreshment door (which is not made any more). No place had the gasket we needed for the refrigerator side. Just by chance I added the word replacement this time in a search and your site came up immediately with the exact part number. This is a superior business. About a year ago my fridge went out. I did some researching - fault isolation - and found the part needed. Part price was competitive at A-1 and service was helpful at the time. I saved hundreds over an appliance repair or replacement. This month, my dryer went out. I went to one of the Big Name Stores and ordered a replacement. After the delivery was delayed to over two weeks, I did some researching and found I had purchased an item from the Big Store that had the lowest reliability ratings in the industry. I cancelled the order at the Big Store and went to A-1. They provide a personal and professional shopping experience - stand by the items they sell - answered all of my questions - and delivered in a day. I saved a lot. I am very satisfied with the product - and have extra satisfaction that it is made in America. From now on I will check with A-1 before I go to a bigger store. A-1 is very highly recommended.

I just ordered a 3-pack of filters for my GE refrigerator. The ordering process was quick and easy; no fighting with technology. It took me maybe 2 minutes to order and get my conformation email. The price was much better than Amazons (and I hate making Amazon even richer). Now I wait to see if the shipping and product live up to the perfect service so far.

My husband ordered a heating element for our Whirlpool dishwasher back at the end of May. We ended up ordering from A-1 because of the reviews, and also because the part was cheaper there than other places I had checked. After several weeks with no communication from A-1 and no order updates, my husband contacted them to receive an update only to find out that the part was backordered with no eta. After many more weeks, I reached out again on Thursday morning via their online contact form. Despite being open every day of the week except Sunday, I have yet to receive a response.

Brought my part and appliance information in, they had the part on hand, it was inexpensive compared to the cost of purchasing a whole new appliance. The dude at the register was nice and professional. Would come here again.

I ordered freon from A-1 as they were about $50 less than most suppliers.My account was billed imeadiatly. I inquired about the order as I had heard nothing for a week.I was told it would ship soon, as they were getting it sent over from one of thier other stores. After another week, I was told they can no longer ship freon because of a policy change in shipping hazerdous materiels! I looked at thier web site and saw that the freon I ordered was now $160 more than the day before! Shipping has also gone up around 700%! At least I know the truth. Why ship an item when you can easily cancel an order, then sell again at a much greater profit! Good for the bottem line, but not good buisiness. I wont be recominding A-1 to anyone I know.

Absolutely garbage, I ordered 2 of their AC refill kit and paid extra for 2 day shipping. The kit took 3 days to ship which wasnt the end of the world, but it was the fact that I ordered 2 of the kits, which is per kit, 2 cans of 22A (R290) and a can tap with guage along with adapters, goggles, oil analyzer, a thermometer and instructions. This is not what I received. I received just 2 cans of 22A. I have now sent multiple emails and called and left a voice mail with no response. I sent my first email on 5/30/21. I even filled out the form on their website after getting no response and still nothing. What kind of customer service is this. Dont waste your time buying from them.

2 items on this order:1) A door latch for my Cabrio dryer. Perfect. I had gotten one from a seller online and it was too weak to hold the door shut. Same w/ the replacement they sent. The one from A-1 is very sturdy. In fact, its OEM . Factory Certified Parts.2) A thermostat for the same unit. Unavailable locally or even on Amazon. A-1 had it in stock and shipped it promptly. Installing later on today. OEM as well.Some time ago, I got a drum roller kit for this dryer and its still going strong. Quality parts and fast, knowledgeable service.

I needed a part for a really great 20 year old GE clothes washer/dryer in really perfect condition. They had the part and shipped it to me quickly. It was the front felt bearing seal for the dryer drum and extremely hard to find, but they had it. I was very impressed!!!

Ordered on May 11. Never received the part, they have not responded to my email asking for shipping update. I checked and they have not charged me for the part. So, I guess Ill give them an extra star for that. I ordered elsewhere.

After almost a month of nothing after order and charge I contacted this business and still havent heard anything back. Beware this is obviously a company that selectively scams online buyers. LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Ordered a part online because they showed it in stock. I paid more than I would have from their competitor but it was worth it to get the part right away. After 2 weeks I called to check on the part and they told me they were waiting for it to come in. I told them that they showed the part in stock and was informed that the inventory has not been accurate since the virus started. That is a long time for your inventory to be off unless you are intentionally trying to mislead customers. They did refund me for the item but I was very disappointed that they dont have the stock that they say they have.

I ordered 2 parts for my dishwasher a month ago still have not received them. I have contacted this company 3 different times and have gotten no response. I would not recommend using this company for anything. I am just going to have to stop payment on my payment sent or just loose the money and chalk it up to a lesson learned.

I ordered a part 5 days ago and followed up with several phone calls and emails asking for a delivery date or a tracking number so I can be prepared to install the part when it arrives. Never got a call back nor a return email let alone getting the part in the mail as promised. This place had the best price on the new part I must also say. With the lack of a return notification or a tracking number, Im highly disappointed with this suppliers customer service, or should I say LACK of customer service. We ordered a part 14 calendar days ago. We have not received it yet but our credit card was charged. We asked via email for an update and did not receive a response. When I called today for an update, I was told there is no update b/c of COVID and that things are delayed and there is no ETA. I would give it one star but COVID is still out there (its been a full year) so maybe the appliance part segment has been hit harder than the food stores, medical supplies etc..

Placed an order for a spray arm for my dishwasher on January 14th. March 1st it still hadnt came. My one star rating is due to their lack of communication with me regarding my order, my money was held until I finally called them directly Feb 28th asking when would I receive the part. Was told were waiting on Frigidaire next thing I know, the money was refunded so I assume that after waiting all this time & not able to use my dishwasher, (I am disabled with psoriatic arthritis and REALLY need it) that my order was cancelled. Hell they didnt say but at least they appear to be a legitimate company they just failed me in the customer service department..

The A-1 Appliance Parts, Inc. site was easy to navigate using my machines model no. and the prices were the best I found on the internet. They will be my go to for DIY appliance repair parts.

Shipping with FedEx was terrible with their updates and wasnt clear where my shipment was or when I was due to receive it. My order was placed on Feb. 9th and I received my order from A1 Appliance on Feb. 26th. I was notified that the order would have been received on Feb. 18th.

Even though I ordered a part for my fridge from another vendor...and it was the wrong part, their customer service went way beyond their normal job. The part I needed is no longer in production and the associate told me about the replacement part. They couldnt get it due to back order but found one and let me know where to order it from.This is the type of service I have always wanted. Been in retail almost 30 years and like I said, I know good service and then theres the cream of the crop. Would recommend them every time

I ordered something JULY OF 2020. I still don’t have it, and any time I email I get no response, and when I call it’s always well it’s still on back order, with no apology or offer of discount etc. this is ridiculous.

I called A-1 Appliances asking for a dryer switch type and that I was going to go pick it up. The salesman, Mike, interrupted me and asked what the dryer problem was. I told him the machine was stuck on heating without any cooling stage coming on when it should. He said to check the continuity between the heater housing and the heating element power wire. I used a resistance meter as he suggested and it did read resistance meaning there was continuity. I told him I would open the heater housing to inspect if the heating element was touching the housing at any point as he suggested. After I opened it I discover there was an instance of the heating element touching the housing. I bent the element back where it was no longer touching, tested it, and the dryer now is working as it should. Thank you very much Mike for your generosity!

These folks are my go-to for parts. Ive bought assorted bits and pieces from them for my dishwasher, microwave, stove, washing machine (twice), and dryer (3 times). Their Huntsville location is huge and theyve had my parts in stock on all but one occasion even though my appliances are now 9 years old. And on that one time they got it in very quickly for a better price than ordering it from elsewhere online. Highly recommended!
