Great store. Clean n orderly. The reason for a 4* instead of 5 is because theres not enough shopping carts. I found one, and was told no, by cashier because they only have limited small carts. I was with an 85 year old and that was not cool. Shoppers need to hear yes n show concern for the elderly.

If you come to this location later in the evening the front end workers take all the stacks of paper bags from the registers and put them away. Then when you ask for one they tell you they dont have any. Do they make commission on every paper bag they hoard at the end of the day? Is there some memo thats been handed downfrom corporate dictating to only sell 10 cent paper bags until 6pm? Is there some secret gang of S&S employees holding onto all the paper bags for their own devious purposes? The world may never know.Also their ice cream freezer is always covered in frost and theyre usually out of allthe good flavors.

Great location and pretty much offers everything I’ve come to expect from the chain. Some others have said it feels inferior but i don’t agree with that sentiment at all. During all of my visits the section where the fried chicken is placed didn’t have much else and mAde it look quite bare and unappealing but all of the other serve yourself sections were well stocked and tended to especially the wing and salad bar. The beer section is also well optioned and a good spot for game day buys sate very affordable prices.

Awful supermarket. Theyre consistently out-of-stock with basic items. Except for the managers, the senior staff is rude and all have a chip on their shoulder. Nothing to do with race, it literally feels ghetto there, when its actually right smack in Huntington Villlage. Cashiers never say thank you and are generally impolite. Looking forward to the new ShopRite opening on Rt110 where KMart used to be, where hopefully well finally have a well-run, reasonable supermarket.

In general, this is a decent store, not stellar. NEVER buy any of the prepackaged seafood such as salmon filets, I’ve done this 3x and each time the fish was rotten when I opened the package. Only get seafood from the counter. Someone wrote a review about waiting at the bakery counter, I can confirm this. Not only that, but the people at the customer service counter were visibly put out by my asking for help. I only go there for the convenience of location. Many of the cashiers look like they are miserable. One cashier, an East Indian lady whose name escapes me, is always smiling, helpful and in a good mood. I literally only go to her line if she’s working.

I tried to buy things from the bakery but there was no one there to help us. I waited for 20 minutes total and no one came. Eventually a janitor (who was watching me wait forever) finally put up a sign to go to customer service and even after going to CS, still no one came to help us at the bakery. We did our shopping, then came back, and there was still no one there. Every time Ive been there, the bakery is a wait until someone helps. This time just no one ever came. Cant even buy things!

Deli clerk was very short with me when I asked for thinly sliced ham he gave me sliced medium. I asked him to re-do and he started slamming things around. What is the problem? I wasnt rude, I like my ham sliced thin. Otherwise the store is immaculate and the food is fresh, sales are great.

I come here for instacart only . and they always have it out for me . just because i’m someone of color ?! they always eye me down when i’m at self checkout and the one time i go to buy beer, i’m denied because my license is suspended and i can’t get it upgraded, i’ve bought beer at this location before and now i can’t ? my ID clearly says 1999, but because it’s expired and the DMV won’t let me renew it ? im able to buy tobacco and alcohol anywhere else but the place where they racially identify me, i can’t . truly sad. never coming back here ever again .

I live in the village and shop at the store on Wall Street. I can hear construction work late nights and very early mornings. Not only the noise. The parking lot is riddled with debris. I can not believe this is monitored. Noise is a problem.

I also had the same experience with the deli clerk. Asked for thinly sliced turkey and certainly did not get that twice now. Seemed annoyed that I even ordered anything and can’t even be bothered saying “you’re welcome” after being thanked.Other than the deli, which I will go to Southdown for cold cuts now anyway, the store is well stocked and clean.

This has got to be the WORST stop and shop in the region. Its obvious that management is not attentive to any details. I have to believe the store is closing in the near future because the shelves are never fully stocked, the store is dirty, and the employees are not helpful. The deli department is NEVER busy. From my perspective its because the employees behind the counter look very dirty. Not somebody you want slicing your deli meat.In fact two years ago a gentleman in the deli department was in the middle of mopping the floor and stopped to serve me. Never changed his gloves to slice the deli meat.I would rather drive the 6 miles to the Northport store than go to this store near my house.

The employeees are always very helpful. The store is clean and organized. Fruits n veggies are fresh except a few times got a bad avacodo. Overall great store shop there about 4 times a week.

Edit 12/23/2020: 11 month later and I just bought 2 packs of ground turkey that smelled so bad I had to throw them both out immediately. Unacceptable.Great location and large parking lot but thats about all the good things the store offers. For a long time the meat that I bought from the store didnt smell very good when I brought it home. That issue seems to resolved now, but I dont take a chance anymore after that. My other main issue is that the fresh muffins are always rock hard no matter what time of day I go. The store also doesnt have certain items I always find in other stop and shop store which I find very weird. Ill go for certain items like water or juice, but if I need a lot of items Ill just take the time to go to another stop and shop. They usually havd good sales. This store could be much better.

Disappointed in my last purchase. Got chicken breasts at a good price, but there was about 1/2 of water absorbing gel in the bottom of the package. In all, packaging weighed 14oz out of a 5lb package, so really paid about 50c more per pound than advertised.

Strange setup here and prices are higher than at other Stop & Shops nearby. They didnt have everything that other stores have either

Nice location with a Friendly Staff. Easy to see right off of Wall Street servicing Huntington and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Plenty of. Reasonably priced. Public Restrooms. We will definitely be going back.

Quick and easy shopping.

My husband was searching all over the house, my car and his car for a ring that he lost. The ring had a gold coin imbedded and he couldn’t figure out what happened to it. He realized that he was also at Stop & Shop before coming home that evening so he went back to the store, two days later, went to the lost and found department and asked if anyone had turned in a gold ring. Lo and behold they had it! Thank you to everyone in the store for your good ethics and honesty. It meant a lot to him and he’s so happy to of gotten it back. Thank you so much!

Went in today to get groceries, masks, gloves and all in the pouring rain. Still disinfecting the groceries. Got charged twice for a large pack of paper towels (that there is a limit of 1 on them anyway, it shouldnt be allowed to scan twice). We realized when we came home, and wanted to see if we can get money refunded over the phone, since they have the receipt and card number anyway. They said we have to come in TODAY and drive 8 miles again, risking our health for a second time for SOMEONE ELSES mistake. Weve been on the phone with managers for 15 minutes seeing what other alternatives there are and nothing. Not even a gift card put on reserve for the items we were charged. What a messed up system, risking my health again for their mistake. Usually love how stocked this store is and also how quiet it is but really frustrated by their lack of customer service at a higher level.

Understaffed. Lines, lack of selection of sale items. Prices also just keep creeping up. I could go on and on. I wont do my main shopping here anymore. Or any Stop n Shop. Guntas and Meat 🍖 Markets are far superior. Not to mention better prices on produce and Deli.

I agree with other reviewer‘s: this is the worst Stop and Shop. The selection is unbelievably poor, produce is usually overpriced unless it’s on sale, and the checkout clerks don’t even say thank you, have a nice day or anything. Or if they do, they are rolling their eyes like it’s obligatory. Unacceptable. I still shop here because it’s convenient, but I’m usually driving out of the parking lot shaking my head : why did I do it again?

Stop and shop is what happens when you sacrifice quality for quantity. The amount of food that can be purchased here is truly amazing however the quality is just abismal. I find myself spending way too time looking for decent ripe not rotting vegetables. I would rather not have a whole section full of cereal just so I can get some half decent vegetables and meat. In addition the store brand food is just terrible. Never buy the store brand prepackaged deli meats there are lowest of the low quality.

Really nice grocery... got pastrami and provolone... clean and well organized place. And friendly people at the deli. 7am to 12am m-sat and 7am-9pm sun

Recently remodeled. Selection is getting worse as they concentrate on their house brands. With self check-out the staff is completely ignorant towards the customers. If you do use a clerk to check out they feel that it’s your job to pack your own groceries. They get annoyed if they have to pack your bag. And if you do it, you’ll never hear a thank-you.I’m hoping for a Shop-Rite to move into the renovated “Big H” location. Hate is too strong a word, but I “hate” this store.

Not a big fan of big box super markets. I had to run in to get a few staples and this store was the only place between point A and home. Couldnt find any salsa! and a very small selection of nut milk creamers here too. Which I am finding pretty common in big chains. Not a fan

Your usual good stuff

The item I was purchasing was listed for .99 and rang for 1.59. When I went to the clerk at self check out she said it was the wrong item and ran down the isle to get the tag(not the correct item). I explained it’s just water and I wanted the correct item which I went to get. As I went down the isle I saw the other sale tag was still on the item that rang for the higher price. I guess I shouldn’t have an expectation of good customer service because her only response was to play dumb

The store is extremely dirty. They staff is very rude. There is a huge sign that states “customer service comes first”, but that is clearly not the case here. Staff needs to be re trained and taught personal hygiene practices. They have absolutely no sense of urgency or consideration for the customers time. Something must change.

I started coming to this store a few months back and my experience has been ok sometimes very good today last week I wasn’t feeling too good I felt like eating strawberries I bought guide a few things when I got outside I realized the strawberries were under the cart I ran back inside and told one of the associates what happened and I wanted to pay you think she helped me not at all . Today I went to the store again I wanted to get the Hawaiian Punch it was buy one get one there was only one I told the cashier who looked like I was bothering him and he didn’t want to be there anyway he never answered me most unfriendly person . I work in the health field so I know how it feels to work long hours

Ita a nice clean typical normal Grocery Store. It has a Meat Deli,fresh fruits, fresh food already made/cooked and ready to eat, fresh flower area, fresh fish on ice and lobster area, beer, and medician/cleaning supplies/bathroom/girl supplies&make-up/pharmacy area. It also has a Aluminum Can/Bottle Glass/Plastic Recycling Machines enclosed outside the store to recycle and collect/get money back after recycling at the customer service line.

This is the worst Shop & Shop I have EVER been in. Low ceilings, dimly lit, narrow CROWDED aisles, clutter everywhere. Alternative great markets within 2 or 3 minutes.

Always kept clean, and the staff at the specialty counters for meats and seafood are always incredibly helpful!

This is the worst Stop & Shop Ive ever been in .Very 3rd world..... Thought they would upgraded it after they took over for Waldbaums.

Today not bad all the check out but your self open and no line but a lot of products out of stuck but in general no complaint.

Unhappy, chicken was very dry and hard. I called back and customer service was not very patient/ unprofessional! When I asked her what do I return it to she said I have a line just come to customer service! How rude of her first of all your products should not be dry and hard at 1 p.m. in the afternoon.

I live close to this location so I go here regularly. They recently redid the store and theres no organization it seems like. No rhyme or rhythm to where things are being placed. I have to walk around the store for 15 minutes trying to find PG tips tea bags because they have the tea in 3 different isles. The soy and almond boxed milks are mixed in with horizon kids milks. They hardly ever have anything in stock half the time I come in here the isle are also bare with no product. Its an inconsistent shopping experience I never know if what im going to order is going to be there. Its forced me to shop local elsewhere. I now shop at southdown 5 minutes down the road.

I love their variety of high quality product choices at a very affordable price point. Definitely recommend!

It has everything and its open late. For some reason they have a shelf of all Sunny Delight and boxed chocolate.

The store is old, dark and in dire need of renovation. It is very dated! The produce, dairy and bakery sections (= real food) are very small. The freezer and processed section giant and stocked with old guard nestle and kellogs products. The time has stopped there and you would never say its 21st century! The staff consists mostly of kids and senior citizens who seemed to be very tired and ready to go home rather than interact with the customers. Overall it is a very depressing place.

A new incarnation of an old Waldbaums. As Stop and Shop markets go, this one is pretty decent - clean, easy to navigate.

This Stop and Shop does not have the variety I have become accustomed to at other Stop and Shop locations and I really dont care for how they treat their customers. Yet its conveniently located 4 minutes away from me and its right off of Wall Street and across from the movie theater.

Simple my friends. Stop and Shop!!
