From the minute you walk in the door until you leave to go out the door the team is focused on helping you in any way they can for your eye care appointment. We had a pleasure to work with Crystal. She helped my 11 year old to get his first pair of glasses. They are extremely friendly and highly skilled professionals.

Really lovely experience. I believe I was helped by Crystal at the front desk when I was having issues with my insurance. My eye and contact exam was done by Dr Hoffman I believe. Everyone was exceptionally kind and helpful. Will continue to have my exams and order contacts from this location from now on.

I cannot write enough about Sterling Optical in Huntington Station. Dr. Hoffman examined my eyes and I am so thankful that I made this appointment because he found a cataract which then led to a Macular Hole which were both removed by surgery. If it wasnt for Dr. Hoffman, I would have lost my vision due to the Macular hole. Dr. Hoffman is such a caring and professional specialist and I would highly recommend him and Sterling Optical. In addition, Crystal, the Eye Examiner/Associate, demonstrated the utmost professionalism while being so cordial and helpful. She exemplifies customer service and is an asset to Sterling Optical. Both Crystal and Dr. Hoffman were great. My prescription was perfect and Crystal was exceptionally helpful in helping me choose my frames. I would highly recommend them!

From the moment I walked in i was greeted with two amazing siles from yhe ladies in the front. Dr. Horowitz was detailed with my exam. Told me in advance what he was doing and why. I was concerned due to my chemo and radiation treatments but he showed me my eyes were healthy and only needed glasses for reading. No one try to over sell me. I am sending my family and friends. Highly recommend you coming if you need an honest check up.

I have been a customer at the Huntington Sterling Optical for about 30 years. My parents brought me there as a child and I now bring my children there. It is like a family there. You are greeted by name when you walk in the door and it’s honestly like visiting old friends. They are knowledgeable and always so helpful. I understand people may find cheaper prices at chain stores but in this case you get what you pay for!

Been coming here for about two years now, we’ll not for me but for my partner and the staff is amazing. There very knowledgable in what they do and the Doctor 👨🏻‍⚕️ is very friendly. I feel like they have the best prices for what we get because other places are a lot more expensive. I would definitely recommend this sterling to friends and family.

Sales person seemed like she couldnt be bothered helping me. Pointed me in the direction of the glasses covered under my insurance yet failed to mention i could get an additional 30% off any frame. Seemed annoyed everytime i asked a question. Went to wize eyes down the street. Warm, informative, helpful sales people. Cant wait to get my new glasses - both pairs.

The saleswomen and optometrist seem very unfriendly and un-business like if you have state run insurances {ie. Medicaid/Medicare} if it only covers certain things.I went there for an eye exam and frames and it was as if they were embaressed to have me {and I wasnt acting out..I just had legitimate questions due to my astigmatism}.

They have been very apologetic and kind about the delay with getting me my glasses

Frames are not easy to brake unless you apply medium force

I gone to sterling optical a lot and and they helped me with my eyes because they hurt a lot and now they dont because of sterling optical
