Someone from this place keeps contacting me about another persons debt. I have asked nicely to remove me from their phone list, but keep getting calls from them. The last call I received the person didnt want to identify themselves, but from the nature of the call it was clear it was Star World. I have reported them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau... Hopefully theyll stop with the calls.Update: after 5 month of them not contacting me, the phone calls started again... this time from a phone number (323) 744-xxxx I told the young lady on the other end to remove me from the thier list, but it wouldnt surprise me of the continue on calling me.

Its nice but if starting credit here, its rediculously expensive!!! Its best if you just pay straight cash!!!..

Not to happy with the service at this store lately the other day I went to buy a bed for my kids and they said it would be a brand new bed in the box so I said I would pick it up myself when it arrived, and a week later they call me saying that sorry it took so long and offered free delivery but when they arrived to my house with the delivery they were delivering the bed they had on display NOT THE BRAND NEW BED THEY SAID I WAS GOING TO RECEIVE, and when I went to the store to resolve this issue they came up with a bunch of BS excuses about the vendor selling out of these beds and that they were no longer going to carry that model... so yes I am very disappointed with their service!!!

This place seems to always be closed, I usually go make my payments in person, I checked on google to see if they finally would open and I guess they’re only open on Wednesday’s for a few hours. Well today is Wednesday and they’re closed. I’m mad because I care a lot about my credit. Last time I’m buying anything here since they’re clearly irresponsible and can’t even maintain a business. Also, they literally have nothing useful at the store, I’d rather go to curacao next time.

Wow, great service from these guys all the way through the ordering process. Very professional firm. The flexibility they offer in ordering the products (custom made) is really nice. I think its because the manufacture in the USA.

I had a very good experience buying a 4k TV and furniture . The price was very good and they delivered and installed better than expected.The TV was mounted perfectly and the bunk beds put together in perfect condition. The standard mattresses are comfortable for the kids. Very Happy

This place was awesome! They have a variety of products and they approved me for credit extremely fast. All the workers are very nice and welcoming. I didnt want to ask for help because I thought I knew what I was looking for but they gave me so much more information. Star world has low prices too! Its a well rounded store with many products and I will continue to go!

I love this place. The store is so beautiful and very nice employees. I recommend shopping here its totally worth it. Plus, when you apply for credit they get back to you quickly and tell you if you were approved. I love this place and will continue to shop here.

If I could give this place a ratong of negative one hundred....I would. My husband and I purchased two couches for daughters new house. I was promised that they would be delivered one week later (by delivery department) and the morning in which they were to deliver the couches I received a call saying that couches would not be available for another three weeks. When I asked When they did not inform me of this the night before when I called at 7:45 pm to double check on delivery time, the delivery manager said that he did not find out until after 7:00 pm. They knew 45 minutes prior to them guaranteeing that They would deliver the following day between 8 am and 9 am. but they decided it was not important to tell me. The day that couches were to be delivered they called me with another option. They text me a picture of a different couch and said that I could purchase the couch from the picture and take their floor sample. I asked to speak to their store manager and nobody seems to know how to reach him.....I left him a message three days ago and I am still waiting for his phone call. At this point they can keep their furniture because it is NOT what I wanted in the first place. DO NOT shop here....they are a book of excuses!!

I went here because it was easy to get credit. They promised credit reporting. I first took out a mattress and a couch. Waited, no credit reported yet. Paid it off as I decided it was not worth my time. Then went in black friday for their sale. You had a whole line of people trying to buy a Nintendo Switch for their advertised 50% off. Once inside they told everyone its not 50% off and only comes in the bundle. Wow! But I said hey Ill wait came back a month later and bought the console anyways. Again argued that my credit isnt being recorded. They said they will, so mind you Im paying the minimum to boost my credit, it has been over a year since i got the switch and my credit has not been reported. What shouldve been a cheap purchase 350 ended up being 600 because of their high monthly interest rates. I ended up paying it off and am still fighting for them to report my account to TransUnion to boost my score. But keep getting the run around.

They deserve zero stars. They sold us some cheap couches. Ripped in one week and bs about replacement. Now a month later we’re told it’s too late to do anything when we called a week later. The middle console has plastic inside. The recliner is sideways. Customer service sucks.

Star World is my new favorite place to shop. I recently moved to a new home and got all my furniture from there and they had soooo many options. The employees were super helpful and all the furniture i got was exactly what i was looking for. The prices were also surprisingly low!! i am so happy with my purchase and the experience i had there.

The style of the furniture here is very beautiful, simple and modern. I finally find a modern TV stand matches our living room and affordable.

Dont recommend at all this place. I went in for a refrigerator and stove. At first i had great service at the store and everyone seemed so helpful. I went on a Sunday I was promised my appliances to be delivered on Saturday by the store manager himself and it was even printed on my receipt. Saturday came I waited all day and I received nothing. I called costumer service they said they would look into and calle back in 30 min, never received a call back. I called again on Saturday and still rude they said i have to wait until Wednesday to get my products. Basically they sweet talk you to make their sale. After that they no longer care. They honestly dont even deserve one but Im require to put one.

Love this store very knowledgeable personal easy to get credit great selection on furniture they even offer me same day delivery the guys on electronics are my to go when I need advice on a tablet.

I used to like this store at first they were very welcoming and now when I went to do a payment today some employees gave me attitude (rude) especially FABIOLA not great customers service... to top it off she gave me a ripped half receipt :(

I decided to check this store while waiting for my girlfriend to get off work, and Im so glad I did! They approved me for $1000 store credit and helped me pick out my new 55 inch samsung 4k TV. Thanks guys!!! Im very pleased with the overall experience and highly recommend this place.

Its cool they have lots of games to buy like call of duty and t.vs I saw some tablets,watches,rings,ear rings and necklaces.They even have perfume with lipstick face scream and ya its cool.Wait I almost forgot there is even beds and some couches but those things are up stairs.So,ya thats it i think.

I heard this store needs to be reprted to the better business bureau. Hiddin fees on customer puchases. Then hides from. customers, due to delay or excusses.Lazy customer service employees #0 stars!

Revised:Decided to give them a second chance and went there again.Same thing happened, no customer service. We walked around the entire store, and no one seem interested in selling except the ladies in the beauty department, they were nice and kind.At this point I was very upset and approached a guy that had just been standing in the middle of the store like an idiot, and demanded to speak with the manager, he right away called a lady to assist us and that it was not necessary to speak to a manager.I ended up getting a switch through zibby.Be aware!! When they are creating the invoice they will add a zillion things with out your knowledge. I made them take everything off that was not necessary and I hadnt asked for.We walked inside hoping to buy a dining table. We were greated by the guy in the front desk. Walked about 20 minutes, and there were no sales reps. around. I mean they were there they just didnt give a damm. We just walked out.

I purchased some furniture from this place and they didnt live up to my standards or needs. After calling several times i was finally able to reach someone that helped fix the issue. Their customer service has a lot of improving to do. The store seems to be half store half warehouse. They shousl organize their store a little better.

Overall good service. But one thing I dislike is that they take too long to attend you. You can be there standing for half an hour and no one will help you. The floor ladys ignore you. And its not until a male employee comes to help you out. They need to work on helping customers out. There are only about 2 employees on the top and bottom floors for all the customers that need help.

We purchased a bedroom set for reasonable price and they delivered as scheduled. We went back two months later to buy a 4k TV. The staff was very helpful.

We bought you bed frames when the delivery came the forced the truck into my tree and broke a lot of branches making a giant mess. Adding to this one pod the bed frames infested my room with bed bugs, before this bed frame we never had such a issue. We found out they came from the wood of the bed frame. Long sorry short we called them and they said its not true and blamed our house, they handle the situation poorly. Consider buying furniture someplace else.

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. They have shady practices and they have overpriced products. If you take an item on credit then expect interest only policies, which means you will only be paying for the interest and not the principal.

Went this morning to buy a mini camera they had on sale to find out they only had 3 on stock. Sales representative said to come back at 3pm that they would have more or if not they will offer me a different item for the same sale price. I was there at 2:45pm another sale representative said they did not have them shipment did not come in but they could sale me a different camera for a higher price of course. Total false advertisement dont waste your time!

They have good payment plans although prices are hiked up and things arent the best quality

I waited here for over 2.5 hours to exchange a defective product on top of that the supervisor Said hell take care of it & as we waited patiently for him for a long time just to find out he went to lunch & other employees clueless not able to help us out. Finally when he came back we still waited for whatever issue they had to do for the exchange Im sitting here irritated already from just waiting and they would forget Im waiting and have conversations with each other. They werent rude or anything but just seemed they would get distracted too easily and just have me waiting for so long. im not buying anything from there again.

It was an easy process to apply for credit and was instantly approved. Great selection and excellent customer service.

They were a great help they told me everything with pleasure and they are all prepared for any questions.

I bought a washer from then on February.they didnt deliver it till march.we had the washer for 1 mont and it broke downWhen i tried to get starworld to fix it they gave me the runaround it is august and still my washer is broken and the store wont take responsibility for it.this has to be the most irresponsible place ive ever seen.they wont back up their products.i should have gone to sears at least sears would have replaced the washer by now

First time buying a sofa from them. They told us our delivery would come from 6pm-9pm a day before. The next day they call us saying they were outside at 2pm when i wasnt home. !!?AND IT HAD 2 MISSING PARTS TO THE SOFA. UNPROFESSIONAL !!ALSO BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE From ALMA WHEN YOU CALL THEM. They gave me a # to call ! and the # is always busy. NEVER BUYING FROM THEM AGAIN.
