Terrible service. Both walk in and appointment waiting. Not prioritizing appointments. Got here 10 min befor appointment now 45min past appointment and not getting shot yet. Awful service
The pharmacy service is terrible. A skinny chick with long hair and short bangs was not compliant, I decided to pick up my medicine the next day since I didn’t want to wait 45min. She then proceeded to say it won’t be ready until 11am?? How is that? Don’t y’all open at 8am?? That’s horrible/lazy service! But the register at CVS was friendly and nice. I’m glad I don’t live here!
I called about a prescription and They never answer the phone!!
Great other than the pharmacy being unexpectedly closed. Much better selection than other CVS stores in the area. Lots of healthy gourmet snack and the beauty section is top notch.
Came to this location on an emergency and in the middle of the night they had it closed for COVID cleaning but we could see a customer inside with a shopping cart so how was that
Couple of the day staff and a night staff at the pharmacy are really rude. The heavy set lady I think her name is Amy and an elderly Asian lady that usually work day and the Asian lady name Anita that work at night. Only two guys that work night shift are very helpful and friendly . I am considering to either just transfer my medications to a different pharmacy or at least another CVS location.
My only place for my meds. Dr. Tony and his team are great at getting my order, they make you feel right at home and very friendly too. They TEXT my order when its ready and fill every 3 months making it easy for me. Thanks
I dont get why people are complaining about this CVS. Ive been here a few times, and had no complaints whatsoever with the staff, pharmacists, and just about everything there, and theyre very nice people and quite understanding if youre a little slow on getting your stuff together after you check out. Its a nice CVS, honestly. I love it, and so far, no complaints.
I thought the pharmacy was excellent and have never had a problem with them and I love the fact that they are open24/7/365 days a year and you really cannot get pharmacies that are open at 3 AM if you need something quick and this pharmacy is open all the time so what better could there be. I also find the people that work there to be friendly and quite efficient. The only thing I think they need to work on is when they send you text messages, there should be a way for you to respond to the text because that would be perfect! I don’t know why other people seem to have such a problem with this store I’ve been going to them for more than 25 years. It is a training store so some of the pharmacy staff you will see come and go but the pharmacist and the manager are the same and actually a lot of the pharmacy techs are the same Ones that have been there for more than 10 years. I genuinely like the store also I always find what I want and if I don’t I can always find somebody walking around the store to point me in the right direction.
I have been with CVS-15+years. I have moved to HB and am using this CVS pharmacy and find it appalling on how uncaring, rude and disrespectful this pharmacy is .. I believe it’s starts with management in this store — motto”I don’t care”— . They make a lot of mistakes— lie to your face and just walk away .. Unbelievable!!!! I wonder if corporate is aware — maybe not if they are making money ???!!If one can avoid this location please do so!!!!!!!!!!!
As of April 18, 2021 CVS pharmacy is open until 8pm, it is no longer open 24 hours. Please make a note of it...
Super slow service, they say your name over the intercom that the medication is ready; you go pick it up and they say they are still working on it. Every single month feels like the wait gets longer. Going to change it to Rite Aid, I have never had any issues at Rite Aid and they are faster when they know you are waiting for the medication.
This morning. I ventured out to CVS to drop off two prescriptions for my children of medication that they need. To help them focus in school, The pharmacist on staff this morning. Looked very busy and frustrated as he came up to the counter. And rushed me to give him the prescriptions and then continue to pretend to look up if they had it in stock, which I didnt ask for. Ultimately, he ends up telling me to come back at 11 with my prescriptions because they dont want to lose the actual physical paper. I have never in my 32 years of life heard of a pharmacy not taking your prescription in because they dont have it in stock at that moment. But later in the day would. When I called to voice my concerns, the store manager was more than understanding and did mention that he would speak to the pharmacist. Because no matter what he should have taken my prescription in and called me when it was filled like everyone else. Instead. I was told to take my prescriptions back and come back later in the day.If theres anyone out there whos had this experience, please? Let me know that I am not overreacting. Highly appreciated, but I can definitely see why this location has so many 1-star reviews. Its more so the customer service. Then the actual company or store itself.
CVS SAVED THE DAY (read on for more about todays experience)!!!One star short due to previous experience with one rude pharmacy rep and long wait times, even at 12 a.m with no one else there.. However, most experiences at this CVS have been pleasant. There has been a really sweet older lady always greeting me as soon as I walk in, in those odd late night hours, and always asking me if I need assistance with anything. Although I have had to wait long for my prescription, which has already been filled, due to the rep filling other orders, or busy getting other work done.. It is still AWESOME and extremely convenient that I can go here at ANY hour of the day/night and pick up my prescription.Today in particular, I called in 2x, and each time a pharmacy rep answered immediately, or placed me on hold just for a short moment. She told me my prescription had expired and i had to call my doctor for a new one.. the doctor then said I had to call CVS back for them to fax them a request form first. So, I call CVS again and explain.. I had an hour before my doctors office would close for the day, on a Friday, and NEEDED my prescription today. I forgot to mention the urgency, however my doctor called about 10 minutes later saying they received the fax and all is in order.. THANK YOU CVS FOR SAVING THE DAY!
Once I got to know the employees, I felt as though they were family. I always am greeted with a friendly smile, and polite banter. 4 and not 5 because of the constant rotation of pharmacists. Instead of looking thru my past medication schedule. Frustrating to drive back and forth.
Dont know anything about the pharmacy, but I called the store and the woman on the phone was very helpful. She got a product off the shelf and held it for me at the front desk. This is good old-fashioned customer service which is getting harder to find these days.
The staff profiles people and they follow me around and they accused me of stealing so I let them search me because the manager got really violently aggressive towards me!!!I was so scared I let him pat me down and they let me go because I obviously didnt steal anything.i was so embarrassed I will only shop here on Tuesdays for now on when I no the manager Tyrone isnt here.
Id have to agree with the pharmacy comments although it had improved on my last visit. The store is already clean and the cashiers are always helpful.Minute clinic nurse was awesome for my sting ray episode, way more knowledge than the Kaiser Dr....
The wait time on the phone is ridiculous! I can hear them pick up the line (not say anything) and just put me back on hold. Its not professional and just rude to leave someone on hold for more than 15 minutes! If I wasnt calling for a patient, I wouldve hung up!
Local icon of Huntington Beach the store has been here forever...well, at least in this Shopping Plaza. great place good selection low cost cold beergood place to visit on the way to the beach or coming back for the long drive home
The store is cool. Pharmacy wise. Not so much. They should just take the pharmacy choice from the phone since itll take 20 min for a pharmacists to help you, when you can just go to the pharmacy and ask questions upfront with less time.
65 minute wait for a prescription today. Checked in periodically and was told ‘another 5 minutes’ 3 times. Got a text that it was filled, checked in, still not ready. Got an overhead paige, can’t find it. Unbelievable. Go somewhere else.
If I could rate this place with less stars I would. The store policy reigns supreme and logic goes out the window when dealing with these people. Managing Pharmacist (short Asian lady with glasses) is a joke and shady at best. You will spend at least 30 minutes in line and will be fed a pile of garbage info if something goes wrong as to why they cannot help you. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs.
This should be a negative 20! I went to pick up my wifes prescription after having been told it would be ready at 4:00pm. I went at 6:00pm. Not ready. I came home. My wife has been on hold for 28 minutes and counting!
I’m on vacation and ran out of one of my meds. I don’t have a current script with CVS from r a refill. Pharmacist checked my history, saw the medicine listed and asked how many I needed. I only needed 4 more days until I leave for home and she immediately filled. No hassle, excellent service. Highly recommend.
This pharmacys customer service is TERRIBLE. I would give 0 stars if I could.
Never answered the phone. Very unprofessional.
Pretty Much the worst Pharmacy I have ever been to, with the rudest staff I have ever met. Apparently either the employees do not value their job, or, CVS just doesnt fire anyone, because those workers are disgraceful. They talk down to you, tell you they cant fill something that said it was already filled, they treat you like actual dirt, and even the manager seemed like she had zero care whatsoever that one of her employees talked so rudely to an older gentleman who thought he was in the right line. The pharmacist goes Sir get in the back of the line what do you think you are special or something....Such poor quality service. I started going to the CVS in Laguna and its a touch better. I know customer service is hard, but cmon people lets step it up and have a lil pride in your work.
I am injured & it is terrribly painful for me to walk/stand/be on my feet. So I call in advance to make sure my prescriptions are ready before I go in, & I tell them this info on the phone that its imperative that I will have a quick in & out. Multiple times now the pharmacy has promised on the phone my prescriptions will confidently be ready at a certain time & when I go in after giving them plenty of EXTRA time they still havent even started mine!! They tell me we didnt tell you that time, they arent ready, you have to wait... that is a lie. I WAS told that time. I would not go inside to have to wait in pain if thats what I had been told on the phone. It is very embarassing & painful for me to have to wait in the store in this situation so I dont appreciate it. Dont tell people it will be ready if its not even going to be STARTED before I come in. WHY??Oh yeah & received red pills in my bottle when the label says white pills... so now I have to go back.
Horrible pharmacy. If you need to call them for something expect a minimum 40 minute wait. The pharmacy techs are horrible for the most part as well, a lot of foreign people who dont understand you and vice versa. Expect to be in this store waiting for your script at least 10 minutes or so. Pharmacy seems understaffed and not run efficiently. Get it together guys
I had a bad experience here at this CVS because I waited almost an 1 hour for my subcription and they told me it will only take 10 to 20 mins.
The lazy smug youngster at the register Sitting down on the job needs an attitude adjustment. Had me on a wild goose chase in the store. No apologies. Miserable little millennial....
Always friendly and helpful staff!
This absolutely the worst pharmacy Ive ever worked with or have gone to. Ive worked in health care as a provider and know how to treat patients and to be honest. I have had many issues with this pharmacy and the attitude of the employees. They say that my insurance denied but my insurance gave them 6 months of authorization. I have to beg them to put it in their system. When I go to pick up in line #2 they say that it is not ready, I ask why and when, they tell me to go back into line #1 to find out. They can easily just check because another woman there did it for me and saved me the trouble. I cant get a straight answer out of them and they just have a fit if you present an RX too soon. I come right from my Drs. office with a RX and they say they dont have the meds and to come back the next day. I come back and they say that they still dont have it and will order it just for me. Bull. It is one of the most common meds dispensed and they dont have it for 5 days ? 3 Trips and they cant tell me simply that it is too soon to fill ? Would someone have to wait 5 days for an essential antibiotic ? No. I wish they would just be honest and tell me that it is too soon to fill and tell me when I can really get it. I didnt demand it. I just go by what they tell me and it doesnt add up. Different stories every time. Dont waste your time there. Go somewhere where they are honest and treat you like a human. Thats how I always treated my patients for 28 years, honestly. They could have saved me three stops. Instead, I took it to a pharmacy across the street and they filled it in 20 min.
Horrible service at the pharmacy. My doctor wont even send perceptions to them bc they are so rude and careless. The rest of the store is is forgettable, not work rating
Omg they need more staff,, the waiting time are always sooooo long especially peak hrs !! OMG THEY REALLY Dont CARE 🤷🏻♀️!!About theirs rating anymore!! Which is sad 😭☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️Same here my doctor 👨⚕️ dont even like to send my prescription to them anymore 👎But of course they dont care bc theyre the only one open 24 hr on beach blv so i hv no choice 😡
Rude! i called to see if they had refills of my perscription since the other location i was going through ran out and i started to explain why i needed it a day early she cut me off and talked over me she rushed to get me off the phone so i hung up and called the cvs on w katella soooo much nicer and very polite they didnt hassle me and filled my perscription i was able to pick it up when ever i wanted. never going through this cvs again
They are Always helpful and friendly
I love the pharmacy here!
Everythings great other than very long lines at the pharmacy.
Inept employees. They want you to do their job.
Pleasant employees
Slow and deserted, it felt like I was somewhere in Middle America instead of Huntington Beach. Also, their Minute Clinic is kind of a joke. Way longer than the estimated 15-minute appointments and they dont bother stopping you from signing in when they know theyre going to go to lunch, and then they make you come back after their done with lunch.
The dumbass pharmacy technician sent us across the street without checking to see where our prescription was had to wait half an hour at the other one these people are a joke
Plan on going to another pharmacy, this is the worst for service and the constant foul ups.
Lack of customer service. Especially the manager!!
Not very friendly...its our store policy...dont go here
Super expensive
Nope
