Amazing coffee, wonderful treats, served up by an incredible staff!

To be honest, I don’t normally drink brewed coffee - I always stick to lattes. But the brewed/drip coffees at Philz are delicious! There are so many unique flavour notes to choose from. You get to watch all of the employees go to work making your creation behind the bar with a very open concept which makes it a lot of fun! They also have breakfast sandwiches and pastries which were also very tasty. Such a fun spot - I wish they would open one of these in Vancouver!!

Great place to spend time with family or friends with beautiful view of the beach. The food was delicious. Huge portions. Everyone from the front desk, to the servers and all staff were very curious and helpful. Will definitely be back and refer to friends

Amazing coffee. They make it fresh for your order so it takes a little longer, but its worth the wait. They even make you try it before you leave to make sure you like it.

Great coffee that’s always consistent.I lived up north and was so happy that a Philz was opening near my house. The mint mojito is always a good drink no matter the time of day.Looking forward to many more mint mojitos from this great location!

Perhaps the most unique coffee shop Ive ever been to! The coffee is so smooth and flavorful. And the pastries are equally good. Great place!

I’ve been coming here for years and the coffee is amazing and for the most part I have had no issues with any of the nice staff until recently an employee named Carter treated me in an unprofessionally abrasive and rude manner regarding a simple question about my drink. I asked to speak with a manager regarding the treatment but was informed by Carter that he was the manager as well?? Although Carter is a poor reflection on how employees should represent the Philz brand, the coffee is undeniably worth it. Hopefully the Philz management can put a stop to abusive managers like Carter though.

Its in the Pacific City mall and they have three different blends of coffees in three different sizes. If you choose with a leaf, you can smell the herb in your drink! The environment is relaxed. Taste is good! Also, you can get the parking validation:) You can take your coffee to the 2nd floor which gives you nicer view!You can place order at the line and pay right after to the cash register!

They have great coffee and pastries there and the stuff is really great. My only complaint is that they do not keep any butter on hand for their wonderful bagel selection.

You can never be disappointed with the sorcery they blend into your cup here. I had a medium silken splendor and my husband ordered the Tesora. Pair it with their breakfast turkey sandwich and enjoy by the beach, COVID style.

They were very busy as it was the annual HB Surf Marathon. Service was ok but because of the way they pour/prepare every cup (not brewed pots) baristas barely have time to call your name or make any eye contact. Everything feels rushed!

Very professional baristas work here. When you order iced beverage, they not only add beverage to ice but also shake well to mix them up perfectly. The coffee also tastes very awesome.

Staff seemed overwhelmed, but very nice and fun. Orders not exact, but substitutions offered. Very friendly. Just have some patients.

We went here for coffee and it was okay but we wanted something with sugar free option and they really didnt have something like that.

Great coffee with the most unique descriptions of flavor. I cant remember what I got but it came with a mint leaf in it. I had never really tried a mint leaf in coffee before but I really enjoyed the extra flavor. Also there was some seating out side that you could look out at the ocean at while you drink your coffee and that was nice.

This coffee shop has a wide variety of coffees and pastries. These are all affordable rates that I love so much. They really went above and beyond to make me more happy and make my stay so memorable. Thank you very much, and please keep up with the good job.

We tried ordering from an app for pickup and its so convenient! I have missed my go to cup of Ether and its still as good as I remembered after a year of not going out much. Finally I was able to get one without worries if the shop is crowded.

Philz, the best cup of coffee you can get in Huntington Beach. I go here a lot and they always have great tasting coffee, hot or cold. Snack items are all made fresh. The staff is also very nice, love the vibes and location.

Fantastic and quick service. We placed a large order drinks and baked goods and were done and out of there within 15 minutes. The mint mojito iced coffee is always fantastic. They have a wide array of donuts, scones, and muffins in the mornings. Too bad they are not currently doing the avocado toast because it is so good.

On my way to a nail appointment, I felt the need to grab something sweet. I spot my location. First time walking inside Philz Coffee. Sharing coffee options and styles, I asked for a water. A kind, very knowledgeable gentleman approached me, convinced me to wait and decided to whip me up something creamy and cold.

I didnt know that they have very good coffee over here. The staff are nice too.

I’ve never been to Philz before but I will for sure be coming back! The employees were so kind and were so easy to work with! As someone who doesn’t drink a lot of coffee I don’t know a ton about what to get but my barista was so kind and helpful! They made my drink in front of me and made sure I liked what I ordered (I did) and when I got to the cashier she greeted me and asked me about my day and was so kind and joyful! 10/10 experience! If you dont mind paying a premium for a pour-over, then make sure you stop by Philz. So many options to choose from depending on your taste. They do serve pastries, bagels, and breakfast fare to go along with your coffee.There are times when youll have to wait. They have gotten better getting the drinks out faster. One way to beat the wait is to order ahead on the app. The app lets you know when itll be ready. It really is the way to go with Philz.I always go for the Jacobs Wonderbar or Philtered Soul. Just black. That way you really taste the flavors. Careful as they fill it up to the top. Grab a napkin just in case.

Great coffee. Tasty oatmeal chocolate chip cookies if you need them. A great ocean view from the patio outside their door.

A coffee shop that doesn’t have espresso or make espresso drinks.... enough said.

Very good decaf. We are happy that they offered dark, medium and light roast . We had the light roast decaf and it was just as we had hoped. We wish that we had requested that our pastries had been heated, they were also very good but the chocolate crescent had a chunk of hard chocolate.

This is a great coffee place which in my opinion offers better coffee compared to Starbucks. They have great pour over coffees here. Always a line and great coffee and service here.

Expectations always reached with Philz Coffee.I went early in the morning around 7ish and got the Philharmonic. It was sweet, strong and satisfying. And of course the atmosphere was pleasing.The only thing was the workers aren’t as friendly as the other Philz Coffees I’ve been to but it still has decent customer service.

You will be relaxed when you sip and smell the aroma of the coffee. The place was also so clean and the employees were easy to accommodate. Im coming back here with my friends again.

Coffee was good, this was our first time here. However what was not so good, was how what seemed to be the manager treated his employee in front of customers. We left feeling horrible for the way this employee was treated while in the middle of our transaction, and knowing that that’s how employees are treated there, probably starting their workday off on a super sour note.Dude, you’re the manager of a coffee shop. If you treat your employees like that in front of customers but show us customer service, we don’t believe you.Treat your employees better. If you can’t care about your people you should not be in management.

Delish but wait time was too long

Being a NY native, now living in Utah, my wife thought it fit to take me to a nice California roaster. And they did not disappoint. Coffee was good and the staff was very considerate of the COVID protocols.

Came in to see what the hype was about. Ordered Tantalizing Turkish. I liked the coffee presentation mint leaf in my coffee . As far as taste it was ok. I ordered it black no cream no sugar. To my opinion it had too much cardamom comparing to the original Turkish coffee. The coffee is strong and bold, I think the cardamom overpowers the mint. We waited in line for a while, but got out coffee with in reasonable time. Great Customer Service

I really enjoyed this place. The iced coffee I had was excellent. A bit pricey, a little over $5 for 16 ounces I believe. The place has a good vibe, friendly staff, upbeat.

Service is painfully slow, price for just a cup of coffee is ridiculous. Coffee and a cookie was $6.55. It took over 30 minutes to get just a small coffee. I was here with my cycling group, we won’t be back.Gave Philz 1 star because there is nothing lower.

I love the coffee and the services! Jacob Wonderbar is my favorite... No sugar and some creams... taste butterly and yet still strong coffee sense on my tongue!

I have my coffee here every morning to get some work done and enjoy that first sip of coffee, all while overlooking the Pacific Ocean. They have plenty of seating here to enjoy the ocean views.

Good natural coffee and lots of options

I’ve wanted to try this coffee for a long time and i’m so glad i did. All the drinks have so much flavor, they’re also unique compared to other coffee shops.

Friendly staff, decent coffee in great location.

Took 10 mins just to get a cup of regular coffee. Asked for light cream and it was not light at all! In fact it was very heavy indeed! Staff was rude and pushy but the coffee flavor itself was delicious

Great coffee and each cup is made to order so the coffee is super fresh!! There is a large selection so you can choose what you want, not what the store decides to server that day. About $1.25 to $1.50 per cup more expensive than Starbucks which is not a big deal for me as I will gladly pay more for a great cup of coffee. The missing star is because service is slow, it took 20 minutes for a cup of coffee the first time I went and the barista had to pour the cream (I am very picky about how much cream I want and always want to pour my own). Also, not a great environment to sit in but since this store is in the new Pacific City there are great places to sit outside and enjoy a view of the ocean. The second time I went I refused to wait 20 minutes so my daughter ordered off her Philz App and i went in 15 minutes when the App said the coffee would be ready. It was and I picked up from the counter and was in and out in less than 40 seconds. I will certainly go back!!

This is an unique coffee place that makes your brews your coffee when you place your order by individual cups. You place your order with your barista and then pay at the cashier. Then, your barista will call you when your order is ready. They ask you to taste your coffee to see if it is perfect.

I’ve never been to a coffee shop with such unique drinks. The works and place itself is very nice. If you’re looking for a new place with interesting coffee/drinks, this place is for you.

Great cup of Joe! Definitely a must for shopping at Pacific City. If you’re out with your significant other or the kids and you need to take a break or get the boost to get you through, Philz is the place to go. Luckily my Fiancé was taking her time at the make up store, I was fortunate enough to go here. Might have to go back and get a bag for home next time.

Green tea was great! And it was perfect temperature. I could drink it soon after I got it. Unlike an overpriced overrated competitor who makes tea so hot I cannot drink it for nearly half an hour.Thanks Philz!

Good Philz-genre coffee even though its not really my thing. Fairly safe covid practices. Ordering is done from the door. Apple Pay/Google Wallet were both supported.

Some of the best coffee, the photo is of the tantalizing Turkish. The taste is amazing and to be able to pick up on some of the subtle flavors is the reason why I keep coming back for more. Go get that cup of Joe.

Love this Philz. The atmosphere feels very lively and the coffee is great as usual. It is a little condensed inside but there is plenty to sit around the mall. I also enjoyed ordering their tea. The tea is top notch and it tastes home brewed. Also the breakfast burrito is a must if you are planning on taking a trip here for breakfast. Will definitely come back!!!
