Best place downtown for coffee. Stumptown brew is the best and the staff is amazing. Great food as well. While you are waiting it is tempting to even buy an new surfboard. If you haven’t been here you need to get breakfast and a coffee. Stop in and place an order. My go to is almond milk latte with vanilla.

Stopped in here while my wife was running the Surf City Marathon. The staff was super friendly and welcoming especially for 6:30 in the morning. I ordered a mocha and a glazed blueberry cake donut. The donut was moist, tasty and delicious. The coffee was fantastic too. Perfect for the overcast weather that day.

Today this staff at Java/ Hurley blew me away with their incredible chill under pressure.An obnoxious drunk “customer” (??) came in, yelling, complaining and even harassing....to the point that I left.These employees took the high road and had calm, professional, even caring responses. So impressed guys! Well done. I’ll be back again for your Works bagel. Your latte is on-point toooo. 🤗

We stopped by to get coffee and breakfast. I think this is the best white mocha Ive ever had! I also had a mixed berry granola yogurt, the fruit was so ripe and delicious. Service a little slow, but nice. Coffee selection is small, but everyone loved what they got.

Its a nice little place to get coffee if youre looking to take it easy while the rest of the side walk its bustling around. Had an excellent bagel and Americano. Theres free WiFi and a place to plug in your devices while you people watch too.
