Would like to see an oil change guy there. Someone JUST doing oil changes. They promote a good deal and are always extremely busy so that would be a great addition from a customer service stand point. Dropped my car at 8:15am and got a call that the oil change was done at 2:00pm. Not too terrible but when I called to check on the progress earlier, the receptionist was unsure and had to wait until their repair guy returned from a test drive. Theres exactly where the oil change guy fits nice in. Great prices and great employees otherwise:)

They are kind and prompt with service. I first visited the North Main location and this time the one on Brandt Pike. This is a good business and they are not out to get you like some mechanics. I will continue to have my car serviced with Precision Tune Auto Care for great prices and great service.

Took my truck in at 945am to get front brakes and rotors. Which is a 1-2 hour job. Had to call at 330 pm to ask if my truck was done. I was then told “ sorry we had a car that was considered a hard job come in and we had to fix that. Sometimes we don’t get to customers vehicles due to problems with a hard car.”There are 6 bays and 4 didn’t have a car in it when i came back. I will never do business with them ever. Midas was cheaper and did the job in 2 hours with a free brake inspection!

Ive been going here since I bought my first car in 2003. Good, honest people. The proof is in the lot, always double parked always different cars.

I went in to get my brakes rear brakes changed, also they took it in to get started. 10 minutes later, someone came out and said that I needed brake pads and rodors replaced for the front and rear and that both my rear calipers needed replaced, and that the total was $800. I couldnt afford it, so I said another time. I had another professional look at it, and he said there was nothing wrong with my calipers or the front rodors. I know this isnt the only company that scams people into services, so be careful and always ask for a second opinion elsewhere.

Honest and friendly. We are totally happy with the work they did. We had to have a complete engine replacement. I believe the owners name was Felix? He was great at communicating and even took pictures of the progress. I always worry when having mechanical work done that Ill be ripped off but felt very good about our decision to use these fellas.

I Always have a great experience with this shop, friendly staff, knowledge takes time to answer all your questions and listens to your needs, does not over charge and take advantage of people. Very trustworthy. Been going here for the last 4 years and so has my family will continue.

Came in for oil change and replace the spark plugs, I brought the oil and the plugs with me, they charged me $450 for 2 hrs of work. I asked why would you charge me and the guy making $14 an hr told me it’s $100 an hr for work on a Cadillac. I won’t use them again

Ive tried to set up an appointment online twice last week with no follow up confirmation. I also called after my first appointment attempt only to receive no answer.

Oil Change-----in light of all the restrictions placed on them as a Business due to C-19 they made time for me and got me out in a reasonable time.

This review relates to the Huber Heights location although i have had a good experience at the Dayton location as well. To me the part of my experience that meant the most to me was the transparency and friendliness. I knew up front what all costs would be and had an in depth explanation of what exactly was wrong with my car. It made me feel like I was in good hands.

Honest mechanics come out and explained everything. When I had major work to be done they allowed me to bring my own parts, saving me a ton of money.

Jamie, the manager is always so friendly and helpful when my husband and I come in. He knows us by name. I have never felt that I have gotten ripped off. He always explains what we need and how much it will cost. The other staff are professional and courteous as well. The waiting area is comfortable and clean and the free gourmet coffee is great. I always trust this place over the competition.

So far, so good with this place. They dont work on commission, so theyre not constantly trying to upsell you or get you to get repairs that arent totally necessary. Everyone Ive dealt with there has been very nice and thorough in explaining what needs done. Well worth checking into if you need something done.

These guys do a great job. Good prices. Ive had brake work, oil changes, and pre-trip inspections and Ive been pleased with the quality, timeliness, and price of work. I would very much recommend precision tune to anyone.

Ive been bringing my vehicles here for a decade. Jaime, the manager, was the reason why. He had been there forever, was always friendly, knew customers by name and most importantly, was honest. He never tried to sell me anything I didnt need. He would let me know if something was getting close to needing replacement but was never pushy to get it done. Well, he quit and is no longer there. Sorry Precision Tune, but Im no longer there either. I think by losing Jaime, you will be losing a ton of loyal customers. As I said previously, Id been going here for a long time, and talked with hundreds of people in the waiting area. Id never heard one person with anything negative to say about him.

Friendly honest staff. They are way better than some of the other Precision Tunes in Dayton.

I have had several of my vehicles repaired and have nothing but good to say. They do exactly what you need repaired without the headache of worrying about an upsell. They have earned my trust and business being honest and upfront with all repair work. The mechanics that Ive spoke with all seem to be upbeat and listen to your concerns. I use them for service on my personal vehicles as well as our company vehicles. Quick turn around and the problem is always taken care of and is fixed the first time around. Great company, great people, fair pricing, timely turnaround. Hard to find this type of service these days. I highly recommend them!

Great service

Went in for a radiator flush today and had been told they were first come first serve on Saturdays. The guy who checked me in was rushing through check in because he had answered a call on his cell phone and was in a hurry to get back to his personal call. After watching them take in cars of people who had arrived after me I asked the receptionist why this was and she informed me they hadnt put it in apparently, Id already been waiting 30 minutes at this point. So between that and one of their mechanics being beyond rude well within earshot of the waiting customers, about someone who had brought in a car that needed diagnosed because she hadnt been informed there was an 85.00 charge for it and he wasnt diagnosing anyones car for free, and if she had a problem with it she could just come get it I was just disgusted. I left without getting anything done and would not take my vehicle back to them for any reason. This was my first visit in many years and my last.

I was really humbled by the kindness and integrity from this management team. I was out of state and a newly replaced ball joint installed from a different shop failed on the highway leaving me stranded. Felix spent days dealing with the part distributor and original shop to get my warranty honored. He jumped through so many hoops to eliminate further expenses to me...all this for problems inherited from a different mechanic. John Wiegand carries a VP title for Precision and he personally called me to follow up. The management team in this area is outstanding.

They brought me to the level where I have to warn other people about their mechanics. Their mechanics are not well qualified to do their job. I wonder how they hire people. One mechanic in hurry going home, forgot to attach oil filler cap in my car. Later oil dripped out and my car almost broke. But thanks to smart cars before destroying itself. I would look for other options instead taking my car blindly and getting screwed over. Manager at reception try to be smart and act like a robot when it comes to handling complaints. I never knew old people behave this way till I witnessed them. They need to reevaluate their workers before letting them work on any person car. Because not every person make money like they do. Some persons household income depends on driving a car. At least get this to your brain, if you cannot do anything else.

They were very helpful with my moms tire problem. The employee made me feel that he would take care of her like he would his own mother. Her car was ready in a timely manner.

Had a problem with my steering wheel and they fixed it like a dream. Came out better than when I bought the car

I will never take my vehicle here again.We noticed the next day that a wheel lug was missing after letting their mechanic rotate my tires. This could only occur if the mechanic had either forgotten to put the wheel lug back on, or had neglected to torque the lugs. My husband immediately checked the tightness of the remaining lugs and ALL of them were loose.When I contacted Precision and made them aware of my wheel lug missing, I was asked if it was noted on my invoice. This is about the most neglectful response I could have ever received from a professional shop. There was absolutely no concern shown for my welfare, knowing the dangerous conditions this created for me while driving my car. I was fortunate that only one lug had worked its way completely off instead of all of the loose lugs.Adding insult to this neglectful workmanship I was told to drive my car back to them for their review before they would replace my lug. This shop should be well aware of their process when re-installing wheel lugs, which is done with a power tool and then tightened with a torque tool. And yet no mention was made to check my remaining lugs before driving my vehicle again.This was totally unprofessional and they were willing to put me back into a dangerous driving condition,and cause extensive damage to my vehicle. They were willing to let me take the chance while driving my car back to them for all of my wheel lugs to come off my wheel which would allow my front tire to come off my car. The right thing to do for my safety, would have been to tell me,to check the tightness of my wheel lugs or they should have offered to send someone to check them for me before driving my vehicle again.

I paid $400 in parts and labor to get my alignment done. By doing this your alignment will hold I was told and my alignment is just as bad as when I took it in. They dont warranty their alignments, only the work they do. I should have saved my money and went elsewhere.

I am always satisfied with the team at Precision Tune for their professional and personal attitude to care for me and my vehicle. I am in the older generation now, 68 years old, and recovering from a stroke, it is gratifying to feel that you are not being taken for granted wile receiving service.

I just wanted a front end alignment. I gave this place three chances. The first time I went to the establishment (around 1 pm on a Friday) asking for the time frame it would take to get the work done, and I was told that it wouldnt happen that day (which made some sense, since Id gotten there a little late in the day). The woman at the front desk told me that I could come in on Saturdays when its first come first serve. Precision Tune opens at 7:30 AM, I got there at 8:30, and was told to drop my car off and they MAY be able to start on it by 2 PM. Im new to the area and I dont have the option to just drop my car off for half of the day, so I asked to schedule an appointment on the following Friday at 10 AM. Here it is, 10:09 and Im sitting in my car with no chance of a front end alignment... Why? Well. The same woman at the front desk said, Ooooo. Our alignment guy isnt here and he wont be back for a week.Youd think they would try to call someone and reschedule appointments, now wouldnt you?

I recently stopped by Precision in Huber Heights and pulled in, I called them from my cell phone hoping to get my oil changed, they told me to come on in that they could do it now. Ive had my oil changed there from time to time but because of the great service I will go there from now on.

Walked in at 2:45 asked for a brake fluid change. She said your not getting that today. I asked why she said it takes an hour. Not sure how this made sense but needless to say will be taking my business elsewhere. Maybe if you guys get a half way decent nice and polite front desk lady you would get more business. And not losing out on business that walks through your door turning customers down because your front desk lady is too lazy to do a little paper work. Terrible experience. I dropped my car off, which was told there would be envelopes for over night drop offs. Of course there were none. Then I called to make sure they got my car and my note, the guy said they did and they would be calling me back here soon with a quote. Two hours later I get a call and my car was done. I asked how much and it was $30 more than I was quoted two weeks before. Kathy told me that it was because my head light was a special kind. I personally think they should of thought of that when they gave me a quote over the phone when I gave the make and model of my car. When I went to pick up my car the lady at the front was arguing with a guy on the phone, she asked if I was there to pick up in the middle of this. I said yes a VW New Beetle. She then went back to arguing with the guy on the phone and said well I am glad I dont have a VW. (Seriously after I told you I was picking one up). Personally, after all this and giving me the wrong quote I will not be going back and would not recommend them to anyone!

I am fairly new to Dayton, but I have found the most honest, fair, reputable, and courteous mechanics in town here. I scheduled an appt for a complete tune up, which was half the price of Grismer to begin with. But to my amazement the mechanic came in and told me that my spark plugs were fine and I really didnt need a tune up yet. They could have very easily taken my money and performed the tune up needlessly, but they chose to be honest instead! Very impressed with the waiting area also. I did get my oil changed, the synthetic oil change was $40 less than it was last time at Tune-up Masters. I want to thank Jamie and his crew, u have a lifetime customer in me!!Thanks again, Sherry

Terrible!!! Came in for oil leak. Took 2 days to diagnose because they found where they thought it was leaking but didnt know the name of the part and was googling when I came to check on car. Gave me print out of Diagnoses that added to $800. I didnt trust so I paid $100 for diagnosed and went somewhere else. Ended up being a 4 dollar dipstick tube seal. The diagnostic alone was a rip off. Dont Go!!!!!!!!!!

*WARNING* DO NOT GET AN ALIGNMENT HERE. Took my SUV to this location with their $49.90 alignment coupon printed off the website. The auto tech stated that my car is tougher to align based on the bolts being on top vesus the bottom. So I will not be able to use the coupon--> he stated it will now be $89.90 to align for 4 wheel alignment. I was already there so I said go ahead and do it. As soon as I left, I found a straight road in Huber Heights and let go of the steering wheel. The car immediately started veering to the left by itself. I scheduled a free alignment check at Firestone Complete Auto the very next day and they confirmed the results of a poor alignment (I did not tell them I got an alignment the day before). Precision Tune did not even touch the rear wheels for an alignment even though I paid full price for a 4 wheel alignment. I went back to the store to confront them with the results on a full printout Firestone gave me. I spoke to the manager and he apologized and said the calibration must be off on my machine, I have no way to give you a credit you will have to contact corporate Ask any mechanic and they will tell you there are 3 areas to properly align a car, the camber, caster and toe The manager confessed to me by saying the toe was off so bad because they dont do toe alignments here. What kind of shop advertises an alignment service that is incomplete???!!!! I contacted corporate and they stated the district manager will get back with you within 72 hours. To much surprise, they obviously never got back with me so Im getting my money back from my credit card company. Nothing but crooks here. Go at your own risk.8-30-18 UPDATE: The district manager Darryl says there was NO date at the top of my alignment check paperwork at Firestone Complete Auto. See attached pic and you will see who is trustworthy now. Transaction date 3-27-17---> alignment check 3-28-17. This corporate location is being ran by incompetent, dishonest individuals.
