This place is awesome. Very nice and helpful staff. I went in to the store to put a gift basket together for my daughter that lives out of state. They shipped it right out that day and my daughter was so happy to receive such great Michigan gifts from home. I cannot say enough nice things about this store! I even brought two tasty pasties home and my husband and I had them for dinner. They were delicious! They make them right there onsite. If you have always wanted to try a pasty but have never been to the UP, these are authentic and tasted just like the pasties my Mom used to make!

It has been a few years since we last visited and it is still as charming as ever! We picked up a few curios to take on our overseas research trip to give as gifts. Plus our son and daughter have moved out of state and we found some perfect gifts to send them so they remember with fondness their home state.

Cute little store with home made items from people in Michigan and or surrounding areas of Livingston County. The sales clerk Anna was very sweet and even suggested products for a gift we were searching for. They have homemade pasties! Havent tried it yet but my family members brought a few.

Amazing little shop truly a hidden treasure. They have all types of Michigan made products the faygo candles are awesome and smell delish. Also try the cherry pepper jam it has little spice and is not hot and goes on everything. We will definitely be back.

I live in Texas and I wanted to give my girlfriend a taste of home for her birthday. After a little research, I decided on a build-a-box from Heart of Michigan. The box of goodies arrived in less than 1 week; however, one of the soda bottles had leaked. I reached out to Heart of Michigan and Stacey offered to replace any damaged items. Thankfully, none of the other items were damaged, but Stacey offered to send out a couple of replacement pops anyway. I really appreciate the awesome customer service.

Best pasties I have ever eaten

I ordered the pasties for this rough health period we are currently going through, and everything about the ordering experice is wonderful. The order was delivered to my door, and they all taste great! My kids have a super healthy lunch option while theyre home.

A favorite place to take out-of-town guests. Friendly staff who will find out answers if you have a question. They have some good wines, great Michigan made food and unique items from our great state.

Great shop full of Michigan products! We were able to find foods here that we havent been able to find anywhere else. They have food, drinks, decor, clothing, jewelry & lots of great Michigan made products. The best part are the pasties! They have delicious options from traditional to breakfast to chicken...with warm gravy to go with! So yummy- you have to try!

Oh my! A friend told me the pasties were every bit as good as those in the U. P. She didnt lie! I ate one there and ordered six frozen to take home. So far Ive had the original and the breakfast one. Both are delicious and now Ill always stop for more!

Great little store in downtown Howell selling products only made in Michigan. Wide variety of items from shirts and hats to candy and snacks. They also sell locally made ice cream and pasties. Nice option to order online and put together gift boxes. The staff was warm and friendly too. Only downside is the limited space in their store.

Heart of Michigan was able to ship it all out very fast and even assembled it all in the basket for me. It looks great and someone at our conference will be a very happy winner.

Such a cool little store...unique to Michigan finds.

This store is very clean and organized with a friendly staff. They greet you with a smile the only suggestion I have is maybe some music. It was a little quiet in there and I thought maybe make a playlist of music from bands or artists who are from Michigan.

Awesome store with lots of great locally sourced products. My wife recently purchased a pair of the Story Kromer mittens for me and they are great. Also, the pasty and pasty poppers are very tasty. Keep up the good work HoM!

The best beef pasty in the Lower Peninsula!

Not a huge store, but lots of great Michigan stuff. Lots of things weve not seen elsewhere! Some shirts, puzzles, mugs, condiments, beer, wine, coasters, pictures. Lots of city specific books with old photos. Ill be back soon to see whats new. Right downtown.

Went to Heart of Michigan on Saturday. They were wonderful. They have a lot of products that Ive been driving all over to get. Things Ive only ever found in Frankenmuth or certain Farmers markets. Pricing was comparable and now that I know they are there, I will certainly be back. Bought two bottles of wine, honey sticks (reason I was there), spices (I usually drive to Frankenmuth for) and a number of other things. I wish I had had more time to shop.
