Visiting here was pure nostalgia!! Took me back to 1993 in high school. The C.D.s are only $15 for a double disc. I was expecting to pay more so I bought 2!! I plan to purchase every time I visit Houston. Big E (I hope thats his name. So sorry if not) was very friendly & informative. He let us take pics & did not pressure us to hurry. We are from Indy & Im old so grew up listening to Screw. I took my daughter & Grand Son to show them what I used to listen to. LoL.

Theres not much to see or buy. If you are in the area its nice to check out but I wouldnt go out of my way.

I give it 5 stars out of love. But if it were up to my personal experience on Sunday it would be 1 star. I drove all the way from Dallas Texas to go to this store.. it was a 4 hour drive.... Online it says they open at 2pm. So i wait. And wait.. And wait... 2 hours later me and about 5 other cars that were waiting realized they are never going to open today... If you are closed why not update your Google listing, or your social media or something?! I was so disappointed.

Personally Im not very familiar with his work, but even then, this store is very unique and will give you a lot of insight into his prowess as a musician and DJ. Dont go expecting a regular record store. Go to learn about one of H-towns best

Ive been here one time and that was when it was on the original Cullen Blvd location. I only bought one CD and wish I had bought like two more. Im from Lafayette but I will be coming back to Houston to check out the new store. Peace.

I loved the atmosphere. However, driving 4 hours to get there wasnt worth it. Was disappointed that they didnt have more there. They had one rack in the center of the building with shirts to buy and that was all. The art was amazing and every one there was super nice. It was a great way for my brother and I to bond over our favorite music. Again, I just wish they had more. Thats my only complaint. Pretty cool they had a studio in there.

Very cool place and awesome people. Made us feel right at home. A really interesting slice of H-town hip-hop history as well. We happened to be there while a music video was being shot out front!!

Really awesome experience stopping buy this shop with my homie. Dope merchandise and dope art. Nice selection of shirts and hoodies and an insane amount of music. The only word to describe this spot is “Legendary”. It’s cash only in there and the only thing cheap is soda and foam cups, so come with a wad.

Very laid back place! Gentleman behind the desk was very helpful. Its very much a help yourself kind of place which I didnt mind at all. Much better than sales associates hounding you! Binders of what seems like every single tape Screw ever produced. It was so haunting yet so powerful. Its almost like hes never left! Made me that much prouder to be born and raised in the H. Will definitely be back!

I wish I could give this place a 5 star but we drove 20mins out of our way to check this highly recommend place out (yes it was in a Sunday) and it was closed at 2:30p. The answer machine said they were open every day ... google has the hours listed open every day 2p-9p every day.Maybe next time. Here’s hoping!

Very well-kept secret in Houston located on the Southside doesnt start popping till about 2 a.m. until about 6 a.m. live DJ ripping it up the music was quite impressive very popular amongst the locals its also BYOB not many seating areas mostly just a large open Dance Floor lots of fun
