I called to ask if they have carry rose soil in bags, and they said yes. 30 min later I showed up, and they said they had no rose soil. They suggested using organic compost as an alternative. I asked if it would work to fill a raised bed with the organic compost and plant directly into it. They said, yes, absolutely. Then they told me to take my ticket to the back and someone would help me load. I drove to the back, saw the bags of organic compost which I could easily have loaded myself, but waited for the guy to finish with two other customers first, because thats what they had asked me to do. While there in the back, I noticed a whole pallet of rose soil in bags! Then the loading guy came to me, pointed to the organic compost, and told me to load it myself. I dont mind loading, but its always a bummer to waste time needlessly waiting for someone else. I loaded up, got all the stuff home, unloaded it, and then found on their website that they do NOT recommend planting directly into their organic compost. Maybe those who formulate the soils and run the website know what theyre doing, but it seem like the folks they have running the shop do not.I emailed Scott and Brent (see below), but have not heard back from them.

I have been buying their mulch, compost, etc. in bulk and bags forever and have never been disappointed. They are great products for your garden, and I have not found anything better to use over the years. Their Forest Floor is the ultimate!

I visit the location they had exactly what i needed the young lady at the front desk provided great customer service i will be going back to this location and sending more people as well

I have been a faithful customer with living earth for over 20 years and have bought from all their locations. I get mistakes happen! Katy and Hwy 6. - Has been the first location I’ve had issues with and the manager pretty much told me I was wrong. I just purchase 10 yards total- 5 yards per trailers 4/23 same trailer by the way. We didn’t have any issue living earth off 249 area.This morning 4/24 we purchase same quantity and instead got 4 yards. I guess all the other locations skipped the same training he claims to have and the other locations don’t have a clue how to measure material??Anyways, stay away from this location. Coming from the managers mouth, I am not the only one that’s complained about this same issue.

Will never use this company again. If I could give it less than one star I would. Ordered 15 cubic yards of Mulch and 5 cubic yards of Compost to be delivered on the afternoon of Monday, March 15th. Called Monday morning as it was supposed to rain that afternoon and changed the delivery day to the morning of Thursday, March 18th. Called Thursday and they said that they had no order for me. Spoke with the office who contacted the manager and he said they would get it out in the afternoon. called in the afternoon and he said he could not make but would deliver it first thing Friday morning for 7 AM. At 8:30 Am the truck shows up with the Mulch only, no compost. Sorry, but I have to put the compost down before I can put the mulch down. I lost Thursday and now I have lost part of Friday waiting for them to deliver. I told the driver to take back the mulch and cancel my order.PS: got a reply back from the owner the same day I posted my negative review asking to reach out to him and or the GM by email. I did that the same day and they never responded.

Service and materials aren’t very good. I like living earth but this location is the worst hands down…

If you own or work for a professional business dont call this business, they will make you reschedule your work day. And also the attitude is not the adequate for first time customers. WILL NOT be using their services again.

I had a great experience with the lady I spoke with today! She was kind and honest of times of delivery. Thanks for the great service and being professional, it was night and day to another Letco location, Y’all know which one!

I ordered 2.5 cubic yards of 1.5 gravel. After it was dumped on my driveway I saw that there was maybe about 1/2 cubic yard of what I actually ordered mixed in with mostly 1/4 gravel. I used what I could picking through it. David at the Katy location was stalling and telling me for weeks that he would get it taken care of. Now he is refusing to pick up what was unusable or refund the order. I am sure there are honest companies out there. Living Earth is not. Stay away.In the photo the large rocks are 1.5 and most are the smaller .25 or less.

OVER 3 hours late. Original delivery window was 7AM - 12PM. Sitting here at 3PM with no delivery. No call or updates either. Pretty awful customer service. Our CEOs other business is a large landscaping company in Houston. NOT a good look.
