Was having internet issues at home, poor signal upstairs. They come out and assessed the issues and came up with a solution, sent a quote. for $650.00 to fix it. I approved the quote and the work was done and the bill was $200.00 less than the quote and it work GREAT we now have internet for all no matter where your at in the house. The guys that showed up to do the work were funny enough to entertain the wife while they worked. We will use them again. Great Work

Very pleased with the service provided by Sound by Design. They were able to do the work very promptly and David recommended a simpler approach to the cabling work that I was planning to do. David also made recommendations regarding the placement of my Wifi gateway which resulted in better Wifi coverage in my house.

David was an exceptional resource for me, both for an assessment of my whole house sound system wiring and my owned security system. He performed the upgrade of my built-in security hardware to a state-of-the-art microprocessor-base security system, while adding wireless components were needed. I am very pleased with his responsiveness to my desires, both in his scheduling and execution of the work that he quoted. I would recommend Sound by Design to anyone who wants the best results in either installation or upgrade to their low voltage home systems.

These guys were on time, they completed 6 rooms in one day. They did good work.

We had a satellite antenna installed and had our TV mounted. The tech, Shane, was very kind and saw the job through to the end successfully even with all of my kids under foot and sharing all of their superhero knowledge with him. Overall, everyone went above and beyond to ensure I was happy and satisfied. I have recommended them to others and would use them again.

Aaron did a great job installing a CAT6 Ethernet cable for me in my house. Was in and out in about an hour and did a professional job. Highly Recommend!

I’m a very unhappy customer. I paid them almost a $1000 to install my new TV and a new subwoofer. They promised they’d integrate the new items fully into the rest of my audio video system. They didn’t - and I had to spend the whole evening doing what I’d paid them for. What’s worse - the sub-woofer didn’t work!! They claimed it was my receiver that was the problem, and refused to take it back without a restocking fee. So I’ve had to pay another $90 to get rid of a $600 sub-woofer!! I spoke to the owner - and he was absolutely no help at all. Don’t use these guys!!!

Aaron did a great job with our install. He even fielded a call in the evening to troubleshoot a question with great patience and help. We would definitely call on him again.

Needed Data Drops - Got SO MUCH MORE - These guys are great. I will be using them in the future for all my low voltage needs. They were extremely professional. When I asked about more work than what they came out to do they were like tell us what we need to do. They went and got he additional parts came back and installed everything. Tested and made sure everything was working properly. Awesome Guys.

I found David and his crew very timely and professional. Their work was done without interrupting the daily schedule and was completed very efficiently. My only suggestion would be to once the work is done provide the customer a brief summary of the operating procedures.

These guys were stand up guys. They were prompt, efficient, thorough and explained everything to me that I needed to know. They did a great job and the work I needed to have done was all good.

It is too bad I had to update the initial review I posted. Sound by Design treated me poorly, made a lot of excuses, and didnt finished the work they were paid up front to complete. It looked promising in the beginning, but quickly fizzled out. They ultimately made it right. It appears that there were some personnel issues coupled with a heavy workload.

Good service. A bit expensive but (Shane) installer did a great job. I wished that there was a more better selection of antennas because I had to go with what they recommended & offered. Turns out that the antenna (Lava Omnipro HD-8008 antenna) still pixelates on some TV stations. Other than that, it is working somewhat better than the Channel Master CM-3016 I had mounted in my attic along with a preamplifier by the same brand. I wished that they had a much stronger antenna that they could have installed for me, such as a Antennas Direct brand or whatever.

I hired Sound by Design to hook up my 70 TV, receiver, turntable, speakers, etc., in my new home. I had used them before when outfitting my entertainment center in my old house, including installing zoned speakers in the ceiling, running Ethernet cable from my attic to the first floor, and the same TV hookup as in the new house. The crew did a first class job, and on top of that, they cleaned up the mess (literal and figurative) left by Ma Cable, who, among other things, had neglected to set up any of the data ports in the house and whose service was completely inoperative when SBD arrived but working fine when they left. Now everything works and I have my choice of WiFi or Ethernet. (For the record, Ma Cable used a too-thin cable and a too-weak power supply, which they had to replace before everything was fixed permanently. But SBD got things working until Ma Cable could rectify the real issue.)

Good. Some miscommunication between us initially, but eventually they did everything as advertised at a very high quality. Thank you.

David and company did a fantastic job with security and audio for our house. We were able to connect in person at my place within a few days of my initial call. We got a good quote on exactly what we needed. There wasnt any upsell to silly stuff that we werent going to use -- they listened to what we wanted and we got the right package for us. The install was very professional, and the finished product performs well, looks and sounds great. Very very happy with the experience and will be going back to Sound By Design for future jobs. Highly recommended.
