I really like this hardware/lumber yard. Unlike big box stores, I dont have to walk a mile to find what I need.The store is neat and well organized. Merchandise presentation is very good. The prices are comparable to large home improvement stores. Store associates are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

This place has horrible customer service, arrived before 12:30 by 12:02 I was inside to pick up a $1500 order that was paid for 1 day before pick up. The order was not ready, nor did anyone step up to the plate to assist the order. No one wanted to stay less than 5 mins to help me pick up my order. So delays a job for a customer till Monday because they put a padlock on the gate and cannot open the gate back up. If your looking for good quality service guys this is not the place. I offered to load up the lumber myself because no one wanted to do so. They sure had no delay taking the payment and would stay late an extra hour to complete a sale!

Horrible service the first time I was there for some items and to add to it.... They cut acrylic/plexiglass for me in the store they did wrong measurements even though I provided correct ones. Went back today for an exchange and they basically called me a liar by saying they did not do the cuts. If it’s not returnable say that... but don’t call me a liar!!! I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING TO GRAB ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS!!!

Absolute Safety Hazard!! One of the employees was smoking casually by all the lumber. They even have signs up that clearly say NO SMOKING

Staff not so friendly, quick to dismiss your inquiries. Had to ask two more and show him the picture of the item. Otherwise they have what you need.

Had no idea what I was doing! Contractor sent me for wood and paint. I got a quick overview of wood, paint and brushes to use. The service was excellent so I thought the prices of lumber would be higher, so I checked with Home Depot and put my car on reverse quickly. Montalbano was cheaper by $4.89 per each 8 foot of wood siding.

Great place that has that small town feel. Though half the size Home Depot, it always has what I need. Knowledgable employees and great customer service.

Been buying building supplies from Montalbano for years if not decades but dont buy more than what you need (Returns on lumber is a pain in the butt.)I bought a $35 pneumatic stapler but I didnt used it (not even tested it) & tried to return it, found out no returns on tools. Well, Sr. I didnt see a FINAL SALE sign on your shelves.

Brothers try by all means to get here with the cargo covered, because I assure you and I attest to that, that they will put a very large wedge in their BOL that they arrived with the load uncovered, and then they will have problems when they go to pay that happy burden, I hope you read this comment on time !!!
