I love this place best ham for your buck

Love this place!!! They opened at 0630!!!!! (Special hours for the holiday! 😃) The HB turkey breast is wonderful. If you havent tried the roasted or smoked turkey breast, treat yourself and buy either or both. You will not be disappointed. 🦃🧡

Dont waste your time with this place, they ran out of bone-in hams on Thanksgiving eve at 10:30 am. They have refrigerators full of them to taunt you with though as they tell you they are reserved. How about stocking your store on the superbowl of food holidays instead of trying to sell me a more expensive boneless ham which I dont even want. Wont be back!!!

Had staff in place to require social distancing and plexiglass at the counter. Very friendly staff, a good experience, and delicious ham!

Of course, their ham is the best! I picked up a small boneless ham & Turkey breast today. I thought Id beat the traffic, but that was not the case. Even though the line was out the door, they are prepared and the line went quickly. Love this place! Their pre-made sandwiches are really good, too.

Went in here and they LEGIT let us use a seven year old gift certificate!! No problem, no hassle, no questions. So awesome that theres at least one company out there that honors their promises. Then we tried the food and it tasted just like Christmas! At first I thought theres no way a $30 ham could be worth $30....I was wrong! Customer service was also polite and efficient. Probably a line of ten-fifteen people when we came in but we were up to the front in less than five minutes. Possibly even two or three. I can see why this company has been around so long and built such a loyal customer base along the way.

Easily reserve your holiday ham or turkey online. The ham is legendary and worth every penny! They have many options for sizes and sell a wide variety of sides. You can also get a lunch to go. Prepare to stand in a long but relatively fast moving line during the holidays. Staff is friendly and efficient.

The experience didnt feel very warm or friendly as other reviews have stated.Probably fake reviews.I have been to other HBH locations and the atmosphere/service has been much better and a lot friendlier. Please spend your money elsewhere for better service and less standoffish attitude. One and done with this one. 😕

Always BUSY this time of the year, before Thanksgiving until after New Years, but still worth the wait for the best hams and turkey. Its the only store on the west side of Houston, off Memorial Dr., I drive in from Katy. With that said, you can anticipate, EXPECT a line and at least a 1/2 hour wait. But what better way to visit, meet new people, and share the holiday spirit.

Great place to work over the holidays!!

Called twice to place an order for Christmas Eve! The 1st time I put the phone on speaker and gave up after 27 minutes of recordings! Called again and was on hold for 10minutes before deciding to drive to the store.Expecting to find a crowd was surprised to find only 1 person on the store staffed by 2 employees. I ask if there phone was working and told the lady of my experience, she turned to the other employee as if she didn’t know what to say who then told me ... they will not let us hire any help and we can’t answer the phone!If there was another store close by they will get my business in the future if I have this experience again! I intend to ask my neighbors about their experiences first chance I get!JDavis

Cory the GM is awesome, place runs like a well oiled machine. 90 percent of the food they have for sale is phenomenal. Bean soup, Rack of ribs fully cooked all you do is heat them up in the oven for 20 mins, they fall off the bone. Beef pot roast, pork roast and the glazed thick cut bacon all to die for. A must visit, stop by for a sandwich, chips and a drink for lunch sometime! You wont be disappointed!

This was my first time ever going to HBHC. I have to say the experience was pleasant, the food was fantastic. The mashed potatoes are gross. Even once theyre cooked they look, taste and feel like boxed mashed potatoes. That was a bit disappointing. But to say I purchased my entire Christmas dinner here and only disliked one item is pretty good. Oh one more thing...if you havent tried the mac n cheese, what are you doing w your life?

Wish I could give zero stars. To bad I cant speak to the quality of the food. A guy was making a sandwhich for his lunch and wasnt wearing gloves. He had his dirty hands all up in the meat that would be put on my sandwhich, just disgusting and Im sure there is a health code violation in there somewhere.
