Amazing choice of satin, silk, active wear fabrics, knits, tulle and mesh. The prices are very, very nice. They have some fabrics I never met in other fabric stores in this country, but I always wanted. All the fabrics that I was able to touch are very good quality. The staff is extremely helpful and professional, ready to answer all of your questions. They also have a huge choice of lace, elastics, embroidery, rhinestone and other decor. Highly recommended!!

My to-go spot for stretchy fabrics. Some of them are the same as at High Fashion Home Fabrics, but the price is lower. So this store is my 1st choice

A little slice of Downtown L.A.s fashion districthere in Houston. I couldnt haggle like I used to but the prices were fair and the selection was nice. I found a nice stretch taffeta that I used on this work-in-progress. I would definitely shop there again.

Live shopping here, I just wish they offered more discounts and sales. Its hard starting off buying fabric to get a business going when you want to buy more but cant afford it. Overall they do have quality fabric and a lot if options. I wish they had more Polyester white knit fabrics that were of a thicker quality. It seems someone keeps buying them out and when I need it its not available, I suggest maybe keeping more of this in shock If its that popular. That was the biggest reason to drive me into your store. Also noticed tge designer fabrics have lessened in supply. I do recommend this place it definitely will not leave you disappointed and tge owner is always helpful and very nice. 🙂🙂

Great fabric store with a large selection of hard to find specialty fabrics at price points all across the scale. Synthetic satins and charmuse from $4.99 - $6.99 in bright vivid or deep and smoldering colors A large selection of fabrics with varying degrees of spandex for dance, skate, exercise and swim in solids and prints starting at $6.99 per yard. Most all thier faveic is 58 to 60 inches wide with the exception of specialty laces. Their by the yard imported lace can go over $100.00 a yard but they have an incredible selection of textures and colors; many have beautiful 3 dimensional effects such as raised floral details. You will also find basic inexpensive laces by the yard and lace appliques which are also reasonably priced in bins along the entrance wall. Purchases of large continuous yardage is rolled and placed into protective bags elemenating the need for excessive pressing of fold lines. The staff is incredibly patient and knowledgeable in their craft as they wait on begginers that dont know what their doing, experienced seamstresses, bridezillas, quinseanerra moms and pagent queens with their designers. My favorite are the tons of $4.99 sheer georgettes in the back of the store and a great thread selection including metallic thread for $7.99. I purchased several georgettes and coordinating charmuese for sexy slips to go under the oh so sheer fabric. Color me happy!

Great choices of fabric to choose. They have everything you have and then some. Carmen is so helpful in helping select what is needed to make your selection. Prices are great and they have some great specials. I was so excited and happy when I left. Can’t wait to see my final costumes. I will definitely be back. Stop by and take a look for yourself.

Definitely one of my favorite shops, Carmen an her staff are amazing . They provide great customer service they are friendly and always ready to help and they always have an amazing selection in fabrics, I constantly shop here my to go shop for sure .

I would give them 0 stars if possible. They had the rule that only 5 people could enter the store at a given time, which was understandable. The group before us had 9 and the owner woman let them in without hesitation, when it was our turn she had us stand outside the door (we had 5 people) and wait for a good 10 mins in the heat. Once we came in we were given the WORST service imaginable. She was so freaking rude. I don’t know how they’re still in business with that attitude. We all came in wearing appropriate face masks, while her 3 kids ran around without any coverings. She started screaming cause my cousin was adjusting her mask and then started talking to her coworker smack about our family in Spanish (at least wait for us to leave, bro). My brother stepped out to take a call and when he tried to renter she threw a tantrum that he couldn’t renter though he was JUST inside the store. After all that mess we still gave them our business (simply because of their fabric selection). If you’re going to go, just be ready to deal with that woman.

Great place if youre working on a budget! I went while they were transitioning stores to this location but the stock was still well labeled, organized, and very reasonably priced.

Amazing service

I wont recommend this place at all. The employees and staff are very rude. Their behavior is horrible. The boss was also yelling at us which I think in particular was due to our skin color. The moment we walked in she was being completely rude. She has a rule of 5 people in the store at a time so she stopped us and told us to come in pairs whereas she let in a MUCH larger group of people after us. Due to corona we are supposed to wear masks which we all respected but she had her own kids running around without any masks. Three children with one infant which is dangerous for them and very unprofessional. I also noticed when people would ask for help they wouldnt help until customers called to them multiple times. Wouldnt recommend.

This place is trash. the service is absolutely horrendous. the employee/boss & staff are rude on another level, the rudeness began the moment we walked in. we also witnessed staff or the boss’s children running around the store which is completely unprofessional. they were yelling as well. they have a rule of “5 people at a time” due to corona which we respect. they stopped us at the front and told us to come in pairs, but right after they let in a larger group than the five of us that were together. it’s complete trash . i won’t recommend it.

WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE EVER!! Rude lady owner with a big attitude and her kids running around with no masks on! There is a rule of 2 people per car can enter and we had 5 people who came in 3 cars and still she had an attitude! She saw our skin color and gave us an attitude right away!! I like that you’re not Joann’s fabrics however. I don’t like that you have all these social media avenues that haven’t been updated in years. I came today to get fabrics for masks for Covid-19. I was greeted by a sign saying we are not open to the public. A guy met me at the door and asked what I was looking for. He was back in one minute to tell me you didn’t have it. With a piece of fabric in a color I did not ask for. You have all these workers in the store...Why? Why not let a customer come browse for what they need? Update your Twitter, Facebook, Instagram to reflect that you are allowing curbside only access. Talk to your customers! We are the ones giving you business! It’s virtually impossible to buy anything from you unless the customer knows exactly what they want. Maybe use all those windows and put up some samples? Prices? Swatch books? I know it’s crazy these days. Good luck.

Great prices, and love the variety of fabrics. The service varied for me; one of the staff members was very helpful, gave me some tips on the fabric I was working with. On the other hand, though I’ve been sewing for several years I still look a little young and one of the other staff members definitely felt a little patronizing and did not take me as seriously as the other.

Cant get there often enough. Excellent choice on fabrics. Whoever the buyer is for the fabrics is truly on the cutting edge. Forget the staff, they are over the top in knowledge and matching fabrics. Icing on the cake is when lace fabrics go on sale. Continue to do what you are doing.

I went into the store yesterday and I was very pleased with the many selections of fabrics. I was so pleased that I will be returning this morning to make my final purchase. Carmen, the owner, even had great customer service by helping me choose the best fabric for the dress Im creating.

I went there not knowing what material to use for my bridesmaids. Carmen kindly assisted us by giving us great ideas. We found exactly what we were looking for at a great price.

I absolutely loved the place, the customer service, the speed and quality of the work needed and all the helpful staff!!! MOST IMPORTANTLY ---CARMEN. She worked with me on every simple detail, my budget, and even gave me the best ideas to stay within my budget. She treated me like ROYALTY and I felt I left this locations with not only a great set of tailors but they made it happen from designing to alterations to fittings in an ample time frame!!! It was like I was family! Must visit this place if you are looking for help and in desperate need!!!!! I will be back soon and plan to refer many for upcoming weddings, quinceaneras, and any other special occasions. They even made the bear a dress to match!!! Pictures soon!

I love the selection of fabric. It wasnt amazing but it was definitely better than the local chain store for clothing fabric. I was able to find some beautiful printed Jersey and a tweedy brown and blue fabric that its so gorgeous I could not leave it behind. Its a jobber/remnant store. Cottons were limited and I did not see any linen. They had a better selection of certain types of fabrics appropriate for womens clothing. It was not a place to go for quilting fabric, patterns, crafty things or snacks, but they had a lot of zippers and some trims that I should probably have had a better look at. They had ity jersey and specialty fancy fabrics, lace, charmeuse, challis. There was some suiting, but I dont think the selection and that was very amazing. There were not a lot of childrens type fabrics. A few novelty prints but not much. I didnt see the plush fuzzy blanket type of fabrics. They did have Sunbrella type of fabric which seemed a little out of place but handy if you need it. They did not have patterns or Notions. Its a fabric store. I was so pleased when the lady who helps me with my fabric gave me some inside information about the printed Jersey that I purchased. Basically what to look out for when I was cutting out my garment. Everyone at the store was very friendly and they seem to actually sew, which is helpful. they seem to really know their customers. for being a very utilitarian space, it felt very friendly and warm.

I have been sewing for myself and my kids for years and I just love the selection here at Fabrictopia. I love the quality of fabrics that they offer and the prices are great too. I am definitely coming back to shop some more.

Hi Carmen! I hope you read this. I want to share my experience with this lovely woman with yall. After going to one sari shop after another my seamstress suggested I go to fabrictopia. It was like a fabric lovers paradise. Great quality fabics at great prices and delightful customer service! But thats not the best part. Carmen kept the store open till past 6.00pm just so I could make it seeing as I was stuck in traffic on my way from work. And she didnt try to force fabrics on me. She helped ME make the best selection of fabrics that suits my needs. I cant wait to go back for more. I would give her 7 stars if I could.
