I contacted Joe to ask for someone to take a look at a vision board- replica door that I had been wanting for some time (but in wood). Joe and the Primo doors team was absolutely AMAZING. Not only did Joe find the door but he was able to customize it to my liking and just like my vision board picture! Joe and his team also came out and took measurements and were prompt and professional during the entire process. I want to recommend Joe and the Primo doors team for anyone looking for premium doors (custom or standard) as these folks know what they are doing!Great Company!

Although we had a very nice solid wood front door, our inside hallway was dark as we have no window or side panels at the entranceway. The best solution was to replace the door with one with glass panel. I did some internet research and settled on Primo doors. Jason got back promptly with a quote then we visited the showroom where Mirna was a big help with the selections. The door arrived and was installed on schedule. Were very pleased with the result, really brightens up our home.

I couldnt be happier with my new front door and the service the Primo team provided. They were great to work with--after reviewing their excellent website, I visited in person (be sure and bring pix of your house and door measurements for maximum help). They explained how the doors are made and offered constructive suggestions on style and staining so that the door compliments my brick and has good curb appeal. They even helped me pick new hardware a few days later when I decided I wanted that too. Finally, I got good suggestions on how to maintain the door to make it last. The installers were very neat and professional and did a wonderful job. I definitely recommend this company!

In 2018, we bought a front door we loved from Primo Doors. After we moved to a new home in 2020, we returned to Primo Doors and asked them to install the same door. Jason and his team worked hard to have it ready in time for my wifes birthday. We love it and highly recommend Primo Doors since they offer great quality doors at reasonable prices!

These guys do an incredible job! From the buying process to the installation I appreciated the consistent and prompt communication. I personally worked with Joe and would absolutely recommend him. I purchased an iron front door and a fiber glass double back door and they turned out perfect. The installers are great/friendly and don’t make a mess (that’s important to us). They are true craftsman and are extremely detailed in their work. Excellent experience and will use them again.

We decided to replace our front door after flooding from Harvey, even though there was no visible damage. It was our last repair and was completed early summer 2018. About two years later we noticed our door was starting to fade and crack so we reached out to the owner. He told us sun damage wasnt his problem and to find someone to repair the door. We tried once more to see if he would make it right and repair the door and he refused. The door we had prior to replacing never had any issues with fading or cracking so his excuse is not acceptable. This company was in high demand after Harvey like so many others so its pretty clear we were sold a poor quality door with a rushed, improper staining job. Very disappointed that the owner was not willing to help us and make this right.

Absolutely, the best door company out there ! I stumbled across a post on Ask Cyoress when someone ask for front door replacement recommendations. Primo Doors was recommended by several people on the post and after being highly disappointed by Home Depot. I sent off an email to Primo Doors. Within an hour, I received a response back from Jason. He was very knowledgeable and dialed into what my vision was. After several emails, he let me know my options and let me decided. I loved that he was not a high pressured salesman. I went to the shop and looked at my options and decided on what door I wanted. My previous door was a single door with two sidelites. I thought that’s what I “had” to get, but Jason advised me I could do double doors, which was my vision from when I purchased my home. BONUS, it cost LESS to do double doors ! I was ecstatic! I was able to get my double doors and pay less, who wouldn’t want that ! Three weeks later, my doors were installed today and I’m in love with how it turned out ! These days, no matter who you’re dealing with, there is always a certain amount of trepidation with a vendor. We searched various suppliers for new front doors. Finally decided on someone closer to our location, and we had a better “feeling”. They also kinda set the standard for others to match.Dealing with Joe and Jason at Primo Doors seemed toooooo easy. they were straight-forward with answers and data. provided pictures and details of everything. They even helped us NOT make a mistake with door pulls. One model was a knuckle-buster compared to others and we had originally chosen that one.Prices were honored. Dates were kept (even exceeded). Work was better than promised.They knew what they were doing even though it looked like they were disassembling my house. Measurements were accurate, the products fit as intended.What more can I say. We’re happy. Doors have been in about a month and no call-back for “niggley” issues. If there are any follow-up things,,,,we’ll post. We’re not shy.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thanks Jason for helping us and installing two French doors.We had an office room with two French doors that were not noise proof.Jason and his salesperson recommended to replace them with the exterior weatherstripped ones. They also built a low rising threshold.They did a great job and everything went as planned. Results were perfect.We appreciate you sir and the installers.It worked great. Mark helped us through the selection process (style, stain, lock hardware) and we visited Primo Doors maybe four times and never felt pressure from Mark to make a purchase; he always answered our questions and provided his expertise. Jason and his team at Primo Doors give excellent, personal care. They helped me select and design a door solution that worked for my needs, and they did all the installation (and deinstallation and removal of my old door) in a timely manner. I needed a custom designed door with window transoms because of the size of the opening, and they were able to create and order all of the pieces to make it look like it had always been part of the house. The doors came more than 2 months later than promised and communication with client was not efficient. After installation the doors didnt lock without having to push it forwards first. I asked to have this issue fixed as soon as notice but the installer blamed the foundation of the house and said the doors were sealed properly. I had to call Primo Doors to get it fixed. They work fine now and they are nice looking doors.

Recently ordered a custom front door install with Primo Doors. The experience was great when designing and picking out the details of the door. From a customer service standpoint afterward, we did not hear anything which was worrisome since we paid upfront for the work and materials. I also had to reach out a couple times to find out what was the next step in the process. However, the door was installed and looks great. There are a couple scratches I only noticed after the fact, but when handling glass, what do you expect. There is also some material stuck between my one of my sidelights. Overall, what I am left with 100 times better than what we had before Primo Doors stepped in and helped us out.

They have so many options to choose from and excellent customer service from selection to installation. I highly recommend them!

I contacted Primo doors Monday, Nov 26th. 2018 to find out about the possibility of purchasing custom interior French doors. First of all, it took 3.5 weeks just to get a bid from them. The reason I was given is that the door manufacturer had something going on in their sales department that impacted their time to generate it.After the bid was finally provided, I purchased the doors on Jan 7th. I was told by the representative that it would take 5 weeks for the doors to come in from the manufacturer, and another 3 weeks to be stained. She said that Id receive a call from her when the doors came in, and that the owner, Jason, would call me after the staining to set up the exact installation date, which was to be the week of March 4th.FIRST MAJOR PROBLEM: I called the rep on the 5th week from the invoice signing (the week of Feb 11) because I didnt hear from her, only to have her say that it actually was an 8-week lead to get the doors in and that it would another 2 weeks after that to stain, which moved the installation week to March 18th! She never mentioned that to me when I purchased the doors in January and she should have called me proactively to let me know there was a delay.SECOND MAJOR PROBLEM: I received a call from Jason personally the week of March 18th and to my extreme displeasure, he proceeded to tell me that the manufacturer COMPLETELY FORGOT to enter the original order! That was infuriating, as anyone can imagine. To forget to enter the order is a home-operated-company-in-the-basement type of mistake, not a professional door manufacturer. And I was clear with Jason that ultimately, I didnt care about the supplier. Primo doors was responsible for delivering on commitments that were made. He said that the date of completion had to be moved to April 5 (another 3 weeks) and would speed up staining for an installation date of April 12th. The doors were FINALLY installed on Apr 15th.Jason sent me an email a couple days later asking me if I was satisfied with the install. I told him I was, but I was waiting for the permanent door knob hardware to be installed. He said what was installed is the permanent hardware. I said it cant be because I cant turn the knob to lock the door! He said that he remembered explicitly changing from astragal and a privacy door lock to ball catches when my doors were ordered. He claimed that the rep sent me information when I purchased the doors showing me the difference (which she did), and I made the choice for the ball catches (which I didnt). I told him that I didnt understand what either of those terms meant. I just wanted doors that could be locked. After a long conversation, he agreed to charge me only the cost of making the astragal, but the labor charge he would eat. I accepted that as a fair compromise. Once again, however, the constructing of the parts meant another 3-weeks to have the doors completed, as he said thats the time it takes to make and stain the part.On May 16th, the installer came to my house, only to find out that the size of the astragal was for a standard door and didnt fit the size of our custom doors! Jason admitted that he dropped the ball on that one. Shockingly, this meant that ONCE AGAIN, there would have to be a three-week delay before the door was finished! To say that that there was a comedy of errors is an understatement. Jason confessed that he was embarrassed by all the issues I had. FINALLY, the install was completed on June 4th.In fairness, there were a few positives. While I do believe it was insufficient, Jason did refund me the cost of installing the doors ($750) and the doors themselves are beautiful. I have no problem whatsoever with the quality of the doors, but to initially inquire about them on Nov. 26 and it taking almost 7 months to complete is just unacceptable. I really wanted to give them 2.5 stars because the doors are so good. But there is no such option and in light of all the problems Ive mentioned, 2 stars is sufficient as a rating.

No complaints. My front door opening is non-standard and required some customization to fit any standard sized doors. My old front door was 74 high and any tall person who walked in would hit their head on it. Primo removed that door, sidelites, etc and replaced with double 8 ft x 32 doors that had to be trimmed down on top and bottom by a couple of inches to fit in my opening. Their installer came out before I was charged anything to make sure this door could actually fit and he did an excellent job on the install later. Dealt with Clint on the sale and Jason for scheduling. Door looks great and its now a big enough opening to drive a car into the house if I wanted to. I had been to Glasscraft who manufactures the door and they told me this install was not possible with my opening size-wrong!
