Custom Windows is a company you can trust. It has been a 1.5 years since we had our windows changed, and the windows are doing great. They are very responsive and if we ever have any questions or issues that might pertain to the windows, they will come out with a crew immediately and help us get the problem fixed. Many contractors will dissappear after a work is done, but they do not. You are a client for life. I really respect this company and I wish there were more like them in Houston.

My house was built in the 50s and I had been wanting new windows for better energy efficiency and security. I got estimates from four different companies before deciding to go with Custom Windows, and boy, am I glad I did. I knew that I wanted dark brown, low profile windows so that they would look as close to the width of the thin, original aluminum windows as possible. I also wanted to make sure the grid pattern was the same as the originals - all horizontal (no french panes or craftsman style). And Custom Windows was able to do exactly that at a fraction of the cost of the other companies. Jaime and Alex installed my windows and I cant say enough good things about them. They were so amicable and professional, and they even greeted my dogs and played with them! They got all my windows installed in one day and not one speck of dust or debris to be found. After everything was done, I went to my front lawn to look at my house and it was nothing short of STUNNING! Wow. What an amazing difference they made to my house. All I wanted to do was sit in a lawn chair facing my house and stare at my windows. I want to thank everyone at Custom Windows for such great customer service, professionalism, and having a great product. I couldnt be happier.

We replaced all of our 70s windows total of 11 with custom made windows last year with Custom Windows, it has been the very best upgrade for our house. We have seen and feel a tremendous improvement energy wise and the the windows just look perfect.We shopped around but decided with this company for the following reasons:1. The price was right. Sure there are cheaper foreign imports and also the super expensive fancy brochure window companies, the price from Custom Windows was perfect for what we were looking for and for our budget.2. All the windows are made in Texas, we felt it was very VERY important for the quality of the product and to support local business.3. While we wanted to replace the original aluminum frame single pane windows, we really wanted to keep the beauty of the slim line design of the frame. With all the product and price point we looked at, Custom Windows offered the best slim line designed vinyl frame.4. Todd the sales person was very throughout and answered all our question and concerns, we highly recommend him!

Though we like our doors and windows I feel like we paid for an OK product. A professional installer shouldnt include HS kids for help....We had issues with a casement that was recommended for safety reasons. After a quick fix from the installer we still had noise issues.The owner just said to call the manufacturer to get it fixed.

Beautiful Windows! As an interior designer I wanted the best quality for our old home which we remodeled to have a more contemporary feel. I think our entire neighborhood has told us how much they like them! They are equally beautiful on the inside and very safe and easy to use . I have to say the crew that installed, I dont know, 30 windows or so, did them all in one day and I didnt have all scuff marks and only touch ups due to having the new Windows installed in different place in the frame. Amazing! Very good experience all around!

Custom Windows and their entire staff are very professional and consciences of all details. From measurements, production to installation, I couldnt have had a better experience.The windows are wonderful! They have a lower profile than some I see in the neighborhood, which means you get more glass and view than with other brands. My house backs up to an elementary school and the old builder grade windows let all the noise in from the playground. Today, I dont even know there are kids in the playground.The windows were installed in less than a day and there was no mess left behind to clean up on our part. Great experience, I highly recommend Custom Windows. Shortly after our windows were installed, our neighbors started looking and also went with Custom Windows... all very satisfied.

We replaced 12 original 1970s windows with new Milgard windows. Todd worked with us to schedule a convenient time for the original quote and select the windows that we wanted and would look good on our home. Ordering and scheduling installation was easy. The installation crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves. The new windows look and work great.

Excellent customer service from bid to installation. I tend to almost over-think my house projects since the results are so permanent. Todd was very flexible in working with me to arrive at the right solution for my home. Scheduling the installer for final measurements and then installation was only OK (he couldnt seem to understand that I needed more than 2 hours notice before he planned to drop by my house - I work). But if thats the worst that I have to report, then I consider this a great experience.

We hired Custom Windows of Texas to replace all of our windows and had a very positive experience. There was no big sales pitch or pressure. The communication was simple and honest. Michael Shoemaker took the time to explain the product and process and was knowledgable, pleasant, and professional. I researched half a dozen companies when looking for double-pane replacement windows for my home before I selected Custom Windows. Custom Windows offers a great product (Milgard aluminum frame windows) at a very competitive price, and their install was quick and free of drama. Three of the windows had manufacturers defects and they ensured they were replaced quickly and free of charge. I am very satisfied and highly recommend this company.

Our experience with Custom Windows is very mixed.Pros:The installation staff is friendly and the product installed are good quality.Given its only a couple weeks after installation, we should see how it holds up over time.Cons:The office is really poor on post sale customer communication and follow up..After we made initial deposit, office said they will let us know when order arrived to schedule an installation date. 2 weeks later, no response. I emailed a staff - no reply. 1 week later, I email the main office from website, said the door just arrived but the door handle is incorrectly installed and say they need to return to manufacturer for correction. 3 weeks later, no response again. Emailed office and then they said they will contact installer for a date. No response for a couple days again. We followed up and finally got a date, 6 weeks after paying deposit. If we had not followed up, we probably still havent had our doors installed.After installation, we discovered lock on insect screen is missing. Called office to inquire and they said it is a mistake and will find a time to fix and let us know. A week after, no call back or email again.So from a customers perspective, their customer service is very poor as we have to keep following up.

I ordered all my windows from Jason and he delivered them on time and the company did a great job installing them as well. My construction company used them for two more projects.

Unfortunately, I had a horizontal sliding window fabricated backwards from specification. I realized this after installing it. The window opened crooked since the tracks were on the wrong side (upside down).This was an unfortunate fabrication error, however, they expedited the new window sash replacement and corrected the window tracks and weep holes. My window works perfectly fine now, I would recommend them if your looking for a custom window : )

I knew we were in trouble when our sales person took the check and never followed up after the install to see how it went.We’re still under warranty having problems and the business doesn’t appear to want to help. I’ve had to place many calls and keep getting the runaround.
