This store should saythey close BEFORE 9pm. It’s Always the same problem. I got there at 8:47pm! I was going in and out just to buy a spray bottle. The “security guard” said all the cashiers put their boxes up already. I asked the guard seriously there’s a BIG sign stating they close At 9Pm Every day. I asked the cashier couldn’t take any form of payment anymore, I could pay with card. The. The cashier said no EVERYDAY the doors closed at 8:45pm and they put up their boxes before. Must be nice to leave right on the dot. They should just set their schedule to work until 8Pm so they can be home before 9 of course closing the doors at 7:45. Plus, this location always so ghetto and the floors always look dirty. The restrooms are always nasty

This store has a little bit of everything. I have been coming here since 2013, even after moving to another area. I stop there every chance I get. There are so many reasonably priced items to choose from. I sometimes go there for a single item, but always see something else I like.

All items are not 99cent,but the prices are pretty fair!! When it comes to the produce,fruits and vegetables they have to be consumed quickly because they spoil or go bad quickly,also check the expiration dates because the store only does a store credit or exchange, theres no money back

The $.99 stores have come a long way from when I first visited years ago. These stores have helped me save money on fresh produce, gardening supplies, soups, baking goods, you name it, they probably have it. These stores are clean and well stocked.

Awesome staff, friendly and very helpful! I called around to different stores to find an item, Irene was very polite and attentive. Other stores just didnt seem to care much about what customers needed. I will definitely be coming back to this store.

Decent selections of goods to purchase from. The check out line can be long because of some customers who either couldnt pay or couldnt make up their minds about what to keep in their baskets. You may be better off going to a different location.

Pros: Reasonable prices, Always stocked with your home essentials as well as things for work and school. Very convenient. (If the attitude of the store leader was better it would’ve been a 5⭐️Cons: The app is very confusing to people that know place value 99.99 cents is not accurate just say .99 cents. The one free item not exceeding 99.99 cents coupon will have people believing that they can get an item up to $99.99. When explained to cashier he explained what the manager said so I asked to speak with him/her. After explaining the mishap of the app coupon wording she nonchalantly said “ I’ll let them know” and walked off without taking my info. She showed very little concern. As a manager it is your duty to ensure the customer is happy and willing to spend their hard earn dollar there again even if he/she was confused about the misleading coupon.

They have great prices

This is one of my favorite places to go pick up miscellaneous items for my home. Sometimes they have really good produce. Today they had beautiful strawberries for 99 cents a container. Items change frequently.

I have been to several 99¢ only stores and for some reason this one is the only one I have been in that is always very well stocked.

Its the 99 cent store. Cant go wrong. But I know Im not the only person in there that smell that unbearably smell.

I came in here on 6/9/19 and I was impressed this store was super clean. I love 99 cents only store they have a good selection of items all over the store. I did not have to wait in line to check out I do recommend this store. Cashier was not very nice her name is Kayleigh she was kind of rude throwing items in my bag.

I love this 99 cent store. Compared to a lot others. The employees have never had bad attitude with me and everything is kept clean and up to date. The only reason they dont get a 5 star is because they are so popular and always have too many customers for the few cashiers they have to move as quickly as I like.

I am new to Texas and where I am from we do not have this store....... I feel like a kid in a candy store when ever I visit. Love it!

Recent management change has been noticed. This location was run down for a while. Now the store seems cleaner and looks like there is more pride in keeping it that way. The surrounding area is in the process of a resurgence, so I guess they decided to get with the times. I suppose thats also why there are more 1.99 or more items being slowly filtered in to generate more profit. I see what youre doing, its good, but dont start pulling a Bait and Switch by promoting 99 cents, and upping the prices...

This is a budget store with real products at unreal prices. Drinks that sell at 99 cents here costs double or triple at Wal-Marts, Krogers, Fiestas, etc. Is the government subsidizing things here for low income people? Love this little store which boast some of everything for .99 cents only. Clerks are nice people. Herbert and Fidos run the store efficiently. The newer manager could use some help in the customer service department. Ive seen her tell lies to customers. If you dont want to GI look it up, ask another employee. Overall--great for what it is--convenience.

I love this place. Everything, I mean everything is 99 cents, well we have much more than those types of items. We have a dish set that 4.99, pictures for your living room, dining room, restroom, and bedroom for only 1.99. The upside is, now I work there and cant wait to get paid shop I can spend half my check there lol maybe more. I also do a lot of grocery shopping there as well, fresh fruit, snack items, none perishable and much much more. At first I was just a happy Customer, but now Im a happy cashier!!!!

Its usually messy but all the employees are nice and they get it done when theres a line... They know how much everything is and where its at in the store. Produce can be hit and miss but its not a grocery store so keep that in mind. Always have what I need for a holiday.

The staff is friendly & courteous! Every time I go in to this particular store, they are always restocking which is a good thing to me! Theres always a wide variety of items to choose from.

I purchased a Fresh Caesar Salad Kit from this store a few days ago. The salad kits expiration date said it would be good thru September 15th. On September 15th, I took it out of my refrigerator and the lettuce was all wilted and brown. I could not eat this salad, because the lettuce was no good. I did not save my receipt, because I did not expect there to be a problem with the merchandise I purchased. I called the Fairmont store and asked the store manager if I could exchange it for something else. I was was informed by her that without a receipt I couldnt. The 99 cent store is the only place I know of that sells this salad kit. I have frequently used this store for grocery purchases. But from now on, I am having second thoughts about continuing to buy there, because I am not happy about wasting my money. I feel that there should not have been a problem replacing the salad kit for another item.

This would be a great place to go to with the location however, my visit today was not pleasant at all. I can deal with the transition from Christmas to Valentines Day and the effort to stock. I was looked at very weird that made me feel uncomfortable from the men workers there that didnt look like they worked there. Then when I I decided to check out the cashier was unpleasant and rude. Ive never experienced this from that location but it make me not want to go back.. #Have to do better!!!

Wow, Im honestly so impressed. I grew up in this area, but have since moved away. I was in the area so I stopped by. I was worried as the area had seemed to go REALLY down hill lately. However, the employees here seem to take a lot of pride in their work. Multiple employees stopped to say hello, how are you? Even the girl who was busy stocking items said hello. I almost passed out. Even in the nicest areas in Houston you dont get treatment like this. The cashier was kind, quick, and efficient. The store was clean and well stocked. Multiple registers open, no waiting in line. Im guessing the company has a great system in place, and their doing a great job with it. The employees also definently deserve recognition.

I give it atleast 1 star cause the store is always clean and have a great selection of holiday decor but the cashier was not friendly and threw all my glass and ceramic wear in a bag w/out wrapping it, got home and had cracks on some of the things I bought to put out in my home.

Mr. Trae at the store is having sex with the workers and the hiring manager smoke crack look at her teeth. I believe corporate should step in they are very unprofessional.the expiration date on Foods in cans past due and below grade level CWhich means that the nutritions is not helping the People Or consumers which means is hindering them and endangering their help
