I have been going to Dr. Lee since she and Dr. Owens first opened Vision Optique. My Father went to Dr. Owens while he was alive. I just had my annual checkup and they still continue to be the best with the latest technology and customer service. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and friendly.

Awesome doctors and great inventory. They spend a lot of time with you checking your eye health. The techs are very skilled and they have tons of awesome equipment. Dr. Owens is very engaged and engaging! The selection of glasses is wonderful and they will do special orders if you request. They have a lot of fashionable, name brand frames which you cant find at other places. I appreciate that they are knowledgeable about and have frames to accommodate Asian nose bridges.

I strongly recommend Vision Optique and their over and beyond customer service!! Today started as any other day, except that I had a spec of dust/dirt suddenly get into my eye. No amount of blinking or home-remedy eye washing could flush my eye. We texted Dr. Lee and she agreed it was an emergency and to meet her at her clinic. When I got there, she made sure I didnt have to open the door or touch unnecessary items. She made me wash my hands before treatment started and that I was already wearing a mask. She then washed her hands again and shared with me her ritual for disinfecting the exam room. Her mannerisms make you feel at ease, even as numbing drops are placed in your eye or as bright lights shine into dilated pupils. She saw the spec of dust / dirt and was able to remove it quickly. Upon leaving, she made sure I knew which drops to pick up at Krogers and how often to use them to complete the treatment. I just cannot thank VO enough for the personal service and treatment and going over and beyond!... especially during the time of COVID. I highly recommend!!-Patrick

Update 5/31/2019 - Changing it to 1 star with response from the owner.I think it is important and more genuine to admit processes that need to be corrected and come up with solutions for future customers.There is no miscommunication since no one return my phone call when I initially called to ask about the charges and was told a manager would call me back. I have only gotten a phone call after I posted my review, which was couple of weeks after my initial inquiry. The guy did ask me if there is anything he can do make it right, which I said no since it was never about the $175. It was about feeling deceived.Lastly, the contact lens fitting fees were never mentioned before, during or after the eye examination until its time to pay.Original Review -Do not come here for eye exams if you wear contact lenses. You will end up paying $175 out of pocket with insurance, and they do not tell you until it’s time to pay.I don’t understand why a fee this high can’t be disclosed ahead of time. Even a range would’ve been nice.

I have been a patient at Vision Optique since my daughter recommended Dr. Owens to me several years ago. Now my husband and I are both satisfied patients. Dr. Owens and the entire staff are friendly, efficient, professional, and take personal time to get to know you as a person as well as a patient. I always look forward to my time there getting to know the staff better and catching up on events in the lives of our families. The previous office I visited had a 2 hour wait time. It is nice to be able to predict the amount of time you will spend in this office. Office management is superb!I drive 30 miles to an office where I am greeted warmly and everyone knows your name!

Dr. Lee is the absolute best! She is extremely nice, welcoming, and thorough with her exam start to finish! She explains all of your eye and eyewear concerns in a way that you will understand. She also is great at helping you pick out glasses that are just right for your face shape/structure. SHE IS THE BEST OPTOMETRIST IN TOWN!

Great service at Vision Optique. Angela M. is my doctor there and was super careful making sure she got the prescription EXACTLY right... Then she and Peter helped me pick frames... they were great at making sure the frames suited my face, and that the colors I chose worked well with my eye color, hair and complexion... Peter went out of his way to help me find the perfect frames and even ordered one frame just for me to try it on. He then adjusted each of the frames I bought perfectly... better service and quality than any other optician Ive been to before. If you want the glasses to fit exactly right, Peter is the guy to talk to.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Owens for 7 years. Every visit is personal and she receives quality care. Things are explained in a way that we can understand. She recently got contacts and Dr.Owens personally took the time to train her how to use them and followed up to make sure she was doing fine with them. Even though we have to drive from Pearland (about 20 miles) to get to Vision Optique, we feel it is well worth the time!

She did a great job of explaining what was going on, what was good, and what was not so good. I liked that she took her time on examinations because it showed that she really cared. While the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, they wait until the end to tell you your bill will be four times what it cost at your old family doctor. Oh, this fancy picture of your eye that we told you to sit for is going to cost you $40 and your insurance will not cover it. Oh, you want contacts? The fitting is $100 and were not going to tell you that your insurance wont cover that until the very end, after weve done the fitting. They ask for insurance when you make the appointment. They ask you what needs to be done when you make the appointment. Why cant they give you an estimate up front? I do not appreciate the vague, underhanded tactics they use to charge patients more for a simple eye examination. I will not be returning.

Ive been a patient since the doors of VO opened, even though I have near perfect vision Im prone to the odd injury. I wouldnt trust my eye health to anyone but the doctors at VO. Complete rip off and terrible customer service. Its cheaper to go to Costco WITHOUT insurance than it is to go here with insurance. My prescription was wrong. I called to have them send me the right one and they complete ignored and forgot about it, I had to call again. AWFUL customer service. Could not have a worse experience.

I fell asleep with eye open on pillow. Tore off 605of Cornea..on a Saturday at 4:45 I began my Panicky hunt to find a Doctor lest I go to ER. I found this Store, wedged in a Shopping Center (High Dollar one).They couldnt have been more capable, accommodating or friendly. I cannot stress how nice these people are, really top notch....treated me like a friend who was in pain and needed Immediate help.They gave me a 2 day Plan of Attack, followed by two weeks of similar drops and goop application, and wanted me back within two days to monitor progress. They admitted the Trauma caused to my eye may be out of their ability to help, and that it was a very extreme and serious trauma..but they would let me know and get me to a Ophthalmology Surgeon (Specialist) if needed after the first two days. It wasnt till after the fact I found them both to be highly respected and regarded within Eye Doctor Community, and it was NO Surprise. I am fortunate to have found Vision Optique when I did. (Could have lost Permanent Vision as tear was Historical..they had never seen one at 60%I have my eye working great(after allot of goop and squinting for a few days, and they are NOW entrusted with my Precious Vision. Im 4% anfd have avoided a eye doctor and glasses up till now. Bet your bottom dollar they will be the ones I trust with getting corrective Vision.I can with full Confidence Highly Recommend both Doctors Shen Lee and Dr Bradly Owens for you. Deserved every Star Available to give..and I DO NOT SAY THAT ABOUT MOST DOCTORS or MORE THAN MOST ANYONE ELSE.Staffed by Professional Class acts all the way around from front desk to back room.
