Amazing Dr. He is extremely informative. Wow, the technogical advances are off the chart. If you eye Dr cannot give you internal medicine type of screening in your retina on regular visits, then u are shorting yourself. Awesome friendly knowledgeable Amazing staff. Great selection. Im just going to keep this short and sweet. I went to this Pearle vision on Kirby yesterday the 18th of October. I just needed some lenses to go in existing frame. The ladies over there and the young guy that actually cut my lenses for me were absolutely fantastic I cant say that enough. If you need lenses or glasses or contacts go to this location you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic service! Same day appointment, very thorough eye exam and detailed explanation by doctor and team. Contacts were available at their location and glasses were ready in two hours. Strongly recommend!Thank you!

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at this Pearle vision. I have some Eye issues which makes it difficult to get the right prescriptions and the right contacts and I felt the doctor took a lot of time with me and a couple of appointments to really give me the results I need it to see better. The store is run very professionally and the personnel is very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this Location.

Amazing experience. I went in and out in just 15-20mins. They gave me my new frame and lenses same day in less than 2 hours. Love the quality of glasses and the staff was super nice. Even though theres a couple locations closer to my house, I have been coming to this location for years. The staff is friendly and patient with me when I look around for a new pair of glasses.

Came for my yearly checkup. Its been a few years since I have been to the eye doctor. For years I have been trying to explain to optometrist how my vision was lacking. Every year I left with out a prescription and a feeing as if my eyes were just going to be as-is. Dr Diab listened to my concerns and did a full eye health work up. Didnt even know that was a thing. He explained everything in great detail and I left feeling informed and educated. Hes definitely great at what he does. I got a prescription that is going to help the issues that I have been having for over two decades. The assistant who was helping me was Isabelle. She was so helpful at explaining my insurance thoroughly and helped me maximize my insurance benefits. She helped me find the best glasses for my face. She was so kind and her customer service skills were second to none. Definitely will be a customer yearly and will be recommending customers.

My boyfriend has come to this place for years so i started coming here, i have not had any problems. The staff is nice and the visit is quick.

Dr. Diab is great. I’ve been going to him for years, wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyes! He is always very informative and nice. The girls in the front are also very sweet.

Went to pick up my prescription regular and polarized sunglasses and was told that a technician broke my RayBan frames while attempting to put in the lenses. Told me the best they could offer was 50% off one of their new frames. What kind of business is this? They break a customers frames and have the audacity to ask the customer to buy new ones from them. On top of that, I was handed a card for a glasses repair shop. Are you kidding? They should have fixed them, for free!! Now Im forced to spend additional money when I shouldnt have to. What unprofessionalism. They will never receive my business again.

Absolutely the best experience I have had! My husband and I both went in on a Saturday and were able to schedule same day appointments. We saw Dr. Diab and he explained to us in detail everything we needed to know about the heath of our eyes instead of just giving us a prescription and sending us on our way. The staff was extremely helpful and patient (as I am always very indecisive when choosing frames). Im definitely a customer for life!

The staff here is pretty atrocious, doesnt answer emails, and the optometrist was condescending. They seemed annoyed to have to do as little as verify my insurance. Would go to a Walmart vision center over this location. On top of all of this, I called and emailed to get a copy of my prescription and was told to come in person. Every other eye doc will email you your prescription.

I wish I could give 0 stars to this place the staff is very rude and they always look like you are bothering them. Also they whisper and giggle about customers so disrespectful. The optometrist likes to act as if he is superior somehow he’s delusional...

Doctor: friendly, (as far as I can judge) knowledgeable, he asked questions and explained what he was doing and the results. I did not feel rushed. Big plus.Service: patient with my indecisiveness, clear lens options and cost structure. Only minus: They did feel condescending when I asked if it is possible to adjust the bridge area of the frame and the squeaking noise of the frame.Glasses: fast, finishing looks nice, squeaking noise went away after a month (I assume either due to abrasion or grease).

Be very careful, theyll sneek in services that arent typically covered by most insurance plans. Then you walk away having to foot the bill. Be sure to ask questions or better yet, dont go there!

Zero stars would be the most appropriate rating for the optometrist, Diab and the manager of the Pearle Vision store on Kirby. Diab CANNOT write an accurate prescription. His communication and disposition is at best and in the kindest way to put it, arrogant, condescending, patronizing and scornful; it makes sense that he has adopted this audacious defense mechanism to engage with patients, since he cannot write correct prescriptions. Three visits, half an hour each visit and he will lecture the patient on how s/he needs to buy eye insurance, million of excuses on why the previous prescription was not correct and at the end he will claim its the patients fault for not enduring the wrong prescription over a period of months. The limit for a refund with Pearle Vision if the prescription is not correct or just if simply one has changed their mind is one month. The manager lies by coming up with policies for Pearle Vision that are not true just so one cannot return glasses. Diab will also call store employees nurses - just a ridiculous place all around! I will never go there again; UT Health and Baylor College of Medicine optometry are credible options with truly competent optometrists! First time, I have ever written a bad review for anything. But this place does indeed deserve zero stars.

Jade was a Great Help in helping me find, create, and make my first pair of Pearle Vision glasses! Got my glasses completed in an hour! They are fast.

I had a a great experience. Dr. Diab is very professional and does a great job explaining the purpose of each exam while answering any and all questions in a simplistic manner.

I visited the Pearle vision a few weeks ago like have been for the past 6 years. When I arrive I was greeted and the specialist took me in the back for the regular routine. I was then put in the room and I was expecting Dr. Diab but a totally new doctor came in which I would of been ok if there front desk had told me that. He did well:) During the check out period I was talking to Arfa and I asked her if I could see if last year I bought the protection for my reading glasses because they are beyond scratch. She checked and I had purchase it. she continues to ask me if I leave my glasses in the sun, if i do not take care of them and I told her how would I leave them in the sun if I need to wear them everyday. I asked her what I could do to fix the scratches and she basically looked at me and said nothing. She looked very bothered. Finally she said that I can purchase the protection again. She was very rude and dismissive. She proceeded to print out my prescription and stated that I could go somewhere else to get new lenses. This was a surprise to me because my family and I never had a bad experience there at all. After handing me my prescription I realized that was her way of saying that she does not need our business. My family and I will never go back there.

Ive been there twice and felt Dr Diab was condescending both times. While I greatly appreciate his thorough overview of my exam and problem areas (nice chart) his consultation feet like a reprimand. Contacts are overpriced, although they will price-match. Overall experience was sub-par. Gave it two tries and will not be returning.

Ive been going to Dr. Diab for about 10 years now. He is very thorough and always takes his time to explain everything, never makes me feel rushed. I highly recommend him. Also, they will always price match on contacts. I wear both contacts and glasses.

Racist, discriminating rude girls work here. Today is Friday September 29th I went in around 2:30 so the girl with short Beach wavy hair needs to take a customer service class and not be acting like no one can afford the glasses they sell. I actually went in to purchase Tiffany frames and put my prescription to use for lenses and I walked right out. She thought I couldnt hear the little comments she made to the other girl there. On top of her making a rude comment to me. Ill just go to LensCrafters.

They are the best. They treat you like you are part of the family.

Ive been getting my yearly exams and glasses here for about 5 years. Ive never had an eye doctor as thorough and informative as Dr. Diab. Yes, the prices are high (comparable to the area), but the choices are expansive and the quality is unmatched. Ive gotten my prescription filled at other places after being examined by Dr. Diab and was able to get two pair for the price of one there; but the noticeable difference brought me back. Last year, they price-matched my frames and I was able to use the same frame this year. They only need a half hour to place the new lenses in. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Theyve never made me wait for an appointment; send my reminders appropriately; and are always attentive to shoppers. Ill be a customer for life.

Rude and condescending staff. Cheated me by performing a premium test and charging me double just because I have astigmatism. Didnt tell me until i was paying that I was being charged a premium (even the insurance rep was shocked when he spoke to one of the staff members). Tried to cheat me on cost of glasses too. Other stores did not. Would never go back here

Had glasses made from prescription I had. Few days later got updated prescription they changed lens for no extra charge

I started going to Dr Diab for several years. After Chevron changed my vision plan to something they didnt accept, i went to another dr and buy was that a mistake. I quickly returned to them and just file the insurance on my own. Dr Diab is by far the most professional Dr i have encountered in the medical profession..... seriously... Most Dr lack the ability to connect with patients,The staff is superb. Prices are moderate to high, but what do you expect? They are located on Kirby . Pretty stupid of people to complain about price if they are shopping in that area. You get what you pay for and, and there, you pay for the awesome service and quality glasses.

Dr. Diab is amazing! Hes informed, patient, and extremely thorough. I called desperately needing an appointment for my yearly eye exam and they were really flexible in squeezing me in that same day. And it just so happened that I had a blood vessel burst in my eye that morning, so I was freaking out! Thankfully, Dr. Diab reassured me, after some testing, that it wasnt anything to be worried about and he gave me a general timeline of when it will heal and what to expect during the healing process. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Diab. Plus, it doesnt hurt that hes a fellow Coog! #UH

We used Pearle Vision for years before we moved to Houston, but this was *the worst* experience. My sons exam lasted less that 10 minutes, and they had always taken 30 minutes before. Dr. Diab rushed through everything, and on top of that, he gave the wrong prescription. After getting our sons eyes checked by an ophthalmologist, we found that Dr. Diabs prescription was off by .25 in one eye and .5 in the other!

I called these people to see if I could get a same day appointment. The lady said as long as I got there before 5 that the doctor could see me. After waiting almost 45 minutes with horrible customer service (and hearing the doctor complain about another customer to the front desk girl) I was told the doctor was too busy to see me. Very disappointed. If you need glasses dont waste your time here.
