My computer access password stopped working the day before I had major surgery. I talked to Mohamed (technician) and dropped off computer. OneSource called and said computer was ready. They offered to deliver my computer and get it running since I had surgery and couldnt pick it up. Computer fixed, excellent service and great price. I highly recommend!

Of the positive moments for me - these guys are located really close from my location and are really easy to find. As for the rest -The service is okay. I brought my laptop with a critical error in the hard disk and did not realize until later that all their work takes in average from 3 to 5 working days. There was an option to an urgent repair, of which I found out also by the time of picking up my machine. For me it was Especially nice to find out as I was in a hurry and I needed the repair done ASAP - I did notice that at the reception, btw, when brought the laptop. (Better communication with the clients, maybe, for your next ones, warning/reminding them about the time and offering them an Urgent/ASAP solution?..)Also, I received a temporary clients profile online that was supposed to help me watch the progress with my laptop.. Well, that page has been empty for the next two working days, so I had to give them a call to only find out they needed my permission to proceed further with the repair (ermm.. - would I even find it out at all if I didnt call, I wonder?..).and - after all - they werent able to recover the info from my old hard drive. Of which I found out shortly before picking it up.. - it might have meant just my special luck with it though but - since I was promised that they could recover most of the info from it - it sure did leave an unpleasant feeling too.

I needed a new keyboard for my Older HP Laptop computer so I called Friendly Computer and had them order a new keyboard. Had a mobile tech out to clone a new C Drive on a bigger SSD and he screwed the pooch. Ruined the original C drive and also the new one so the laptop would not boot. Friendly took the laptop in on Thursday afternoon and tried hard to get the new SST to boot the computer but, the drive could not even be read, same with the original drive so they reloaded Windows on the new SST, put the laptop back together and only charged an hour and a half labor. Now have my laptop back and working. Only problem is to load all the programs I had. Luckily my data was on a second drive. Friendly is not inexpensive but, they do the job quickly and well. During Harvey my laptop got fried from a lightening strike. Friendly Computer cloned my hard drive onto a refurbished laptop. They saved all my programs and files and took the time to show me some of the unavoidable differences between the old and new. I took the new laptop home and was up and running in a short time. Dustin has those rare qualities that make a person exceptional in their job. He is undoubtedly an expert in his technical abilities and is able to solve (quickly) the problem/task put before him, but also has the nature to ease the anticipation of the person who has the problem with easy to understand answers of what the problem is. It has become our business experience that Friendly is the only one we call with a problem, and Dustin more than fulfills the high Friendly standards because he exceeds them. We dont look forward to needing Friendly services, but when/if we do we know that Dustin is more than up to the job.

Rachelle was welcoming and helpful taking in my computer concerns and answering my many questions in person and via phone. After the latest Windows 10 update my computer had come to a crawl and I was not able to access my programs. It was almost useless. She and Rafael worked together to understand my computer problems and explain the solution to me. Rafael evaluated my laptop and recommended a new hard drive. My aging Dell laptop now has a new solid state hard drive installed and is running like a new computer. I opted to have Avast virus protection installed for two years through Friendly Computers. I was also given information for the on line resources to help me reload my Cannon printer and information on accessing Malwarebytes on line for for extra protection. It took about a week as many laptops were in the shop at that time with similar problems. I would recommend Friendly Computers for friends and family.

Shea did a fantastic job with our monthly maintenance, as usual. I dont know how the Geeks do, and I have no reason to even find out. Friendly Computers in my opinion is simply the best technical service and maintenance company I have ever used or heard about. Cannot thank these guys enough! Flew from out of state with my computer and it wouldn’t turn on. I had some very important documents saved on the computer that I needed for Tax season. Originally took it to Geek Squad, and they wanted to send it to another state and also wanted to wipe my enitre hard drive claiming I needed a new mother board. Great experience with Friendly Computers. No disrespect to Geek squad, but FC is in a different class. Gave me options and solved some difficult issues. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend them. 8/7/17 Update...After two weeks, my email wasnt working. FC owner Rob got into my system via remote access and fixed a complex issue fairly quickly. These guys are great. Will use them again in the future.

Ive used Friendly Computers twice...almost exactly a year apart for two separate issues. Both times I was very pleased with the results. Brandon is very helpful and knowledgable (my first issue I requested a house call). The second time, I received my computer back on the same day I brought it in...even though I did not pay for same day service. I really appreciated this, as I felt they could have held on to my computer strictly for the fact that I didnt pay for the same day service. However, it was obvious that what was important was getting the job done and getting my computer back to me.The price may seem high to some, but to me thats just the way things are now. You pay for specialized service anywhere. I do not mind paying for things that I dont know how to do, even if the price is high, as long as the service is good. Both issues with my computer have been resolved to my satisfaction and well within the time stated.If I had any negative to report, it would be the personality of the front desk employee who helped me the second time. He wasnt rude to me, just not friendly as the name would suggest. I cant recall his name, but he basically had no personality at all. He just reminded me of a true computer geek who is lacking in the social skills. Brandon more than makes up for him, so I still got my dose of friendliness.As someone who heavily relies on reviews for purchases or service choices, I highly recommend Friendly Computers. I cant compare them to anyone else, since they are the only place Ive used for computer needs, but I can say that theyre the only place Ill continue to use if a problem arises.

I love that you were able to debug my laptop, however I still had problems with connecting with the charger to keep a charge and to be able to turn on the computer. I was told that it may be the actual port in my laptop where the plug attaches, and the port was not repairable. After examining the cord more carefully, I saw that there was a short in it. Once I purchased a new charging cord, the problem went away.

My experience was a very bumpy one, and I wanted to write a scathing review in regards to the service I received, but I wont do that because I know it involves real people and their ability to make a living.Instead, I would like to offer a friendly reminder: If you decide to do business with this company. Be sure you keep on top of what is going on with your computer. Dont wait a few days for them to call you because it most likely wont happen. My hard drive on my computer at work got caught in a repair loop and could not be fixed; however I had many documents on that hard drive that our corporate technicians were not allowed to recover. I took the hard drive to the Geek Squad and was told they had to send it off to recover the data and that it would take over a month. Since I didnt have that kind of time, I called Friendly Computers. They had it done in two days AND all of my data on a flash drive. I took it back to them, they claimed they could not find my receipt and charged me to do a diagnostic check on the machine. They replaced the power supply at a cost and then the computer would not start up. Now they are saying the hard drive is failing and they want to replace the hard drive again at an additional cost. If I replace the hard drive, I will have paid more in repairs than I originally paid for the computer. I will buy another machine from them or take a computer to them for repair.

I had a lot of connection problems with my laptop. I took it to the store in Webster and they did a great job with a quick turnaround time. When I got home, I noticed a small hiccup. I called the shop and Gavin quickly took care of it. I hope that I do not need their services again for a while, but if I need service I will be back. Thanks for the prompt service.
