The ladies that helped me out were so friendly and helpful, and they made wedding dress shopping alone during the pandemic feel much less lonely. My daughter had the most wonderful bridal helper named Bella. She was amazing, so sweet and knowledgeable. Bella was able to help my daughter choose a beautiful wedding dress that’s perfect. We are very grateful for the team Bella and Caroline making this experience so easy.

Our visit was on Sunday October 31st, 2021 at 1pm. My sister was the bride and the sales lady made her feel self conscious about her body (calling her fat without saying it). Terrible customer service. This person made her first experience looking for a Wedding Dress the worst and made her cry when we got home. This person was rushing and making insinuations on prices. Like if she couldnt afford them. We would have not been there if she couldnt. Never recommending this place to any future brides!

This is a perfect place for you to find your wedding dress or elope dress or reception dress. A lot of options, and every dress is sooo pretty. The design of dresses here is good and shows your body shape in a very good way. The stylist is so professional, nice and has a great sense, the dresses she recommended me to try are really suitable for me. And she was really patient to help me adjust the dress and provide information.The store environment is beautiful and comfortable.

I’m a bridesmaid in a wedding this summer and shopped at BHLDN for my bridesmaid dress. I cannot speak highly enough about my shopping experience. Dress shopping is not my favorite activity, but Paige at BHLDN was prepared and knowledgeable about the store’s inventory and helped me find the right style and fit for the occasion and my body. The price-point is reasonable for the quality of the dress and I can’t wait to look fabulous as I stand beside my friend as she marries her love!UPDATE: The dress I ordered became backordered and it looked like I wouldn’t get the dress in time for the wedding. Obviously, I was a bit panicked. The sales associates at BHLDN literally moved heaven and earth to get me a dress on time. Seriously, these folks are ROCK STARS. They reached out to stores across the country to see if we could find a sample size in the right color. I ended up getting a dress shipped from a store in Santa Monica, CA. When the package arrived, I also received a hand-written note wishing me and the bride luck for the big day! The care, commitment, and attention to detail is what really sets this retailer apart!

Had a consultation with Maeghan yesterday and it was great! She was attentive and helpful but gave us our space as well, she nailed the balance of being involved but not in your face. She was well prepared for the appointment and was able to answer all of my questions. The whole staff was professional and helpful. The dresses are so beautiful and reasonably priced! I would highly recommend checking them out!

Very poor customer experience. I waited months for a back ordered dress to a wedding that I am in and when it arrived it was ripped... I contacted customer service expecting an immediate replacement. Not only was I told they no longer have the dress but I could receive 20% of my money back if I want to keep and wear the ripped dress... This Is NOT good customer service. TWENTY PERCENT!? What a joke. All bridesmaids are wearing the same dress so this solution did not help me at all. Wish I wouldnt have waited months for a ripped dress and gone elsewhere. Hopefully your experience is better than mine, but I would not take the chance going here if its for your wedding!

I went to BHLDN thinking I would just do an initial wedding dress try on, see what styles and fits I liked and the stylist helped me find my dress the very first day! Payton was patient and understanding and made me feel like I was the only bride in the store.Unfortunately, my dress arrived with a stain on it BUT Caroline and her team were AMAZING in getting that dressed returned, and a new one sent to me ASAP! It was an incredibly stressful situation but the BHLDN would always keep me updated, patiently and kindly answer my calls/emails and make me feel calm and that everything was under control.Now that I have my dress, I cannot wait to go back for an accessories appointment and maybe even bridesmaids dress appointment! Could not recommend this staff any more highly.

Staff are so helpful and patient and will actually HEAR you. I was able to reserve items that I had buyer’s remorse for and was met with refreshing, genuine pleasantry. Will absolutely go back for my next party.

I made a last minute appointment and I’m SO glad I did!! Millicent made the whole experience organized, thoughtful, and FUN! She listened and heard me fully, from the style to budget to even offering alteration tips. My mom and I were blown away by her service and neither of us planned to SAY YES to the dress (I didn’t even bring my wallet!) but we did and I can’t be happier!

Terrible experience. Drove from another city with my bridesmaids to try and have a nice girls weekend. Planned months ahead and was given this date as a recommendation by the stylist. Bridesmaids tried on the very few dresses they offered for spring. Most dress were winter colors and velvet. Was shocked they didn’t have a spring collection. Most girls found dresses only to learn they didn’t have a size, right color or the dress would not be ready in time. The stylists were not helpful, or kind or understanding. More so seemed annoyed we were asking questions like, where is your spring collection. This appointment was planned so far in advance I’m not sure why the shop didn’t call to tell us they didn’t have options. After the weekend was over the shop called one of my girls to say her payment didn’t process bc of an internal issue but the money was taken from her account. They would not honor that and put the order in. I think the store is likely closing down. Would not recommend.

Because of Covid, my family had to attend virtually and Jona was so absolutely patient in curating such a memorable day by making myself and family feel comfortable and taken care of. In being so considerate of my family and my preferences, Jona helped me not only find THE dress but made the experience a dream come true!

Ordered hair pins for wedding hair. Paid 2-3 day quick shipping, they never arrived and still till this moment have heard nothing and wedding is over. Totally dropped the ball and unprofessional. Do not trust them.

Overall my experience with BHLDN has been terrible! This place came highly recommended, and I must say its been awful. I understand we are in uncertain times (COVID), and I understood I needed to limit my number of people who came with me. So my appointment was scheduled at 3:00 P.M. and was told to wait in my car for my stylist to call me when she was ready. It was 3:01 and nobody called me, I had to call the store to tell them I was there waiting.So first of all they only give you an hour to visit...I dont feel that was enough time. Maybe, hour and a half would have been great! My stylist knew my budget, but she didnt quite understand my style. She suggested something pretty awful from the start, and told me to look around. Did not really make any suggestions, I had to go searching for myself. At the end I felt rushed and at check out she explained how I would be charged for 2 masks but later the warehouse would authorize the payment for the dress. Well fast forward to a week later, I wake up to an email saying my order was cancelled because my payment wasnt processed/authorized. I called first thing that morning because in the email it said they had attempted to get a hold of me. LIE! That was a lie, they never called me! It was the first time I heard from them, that my order was cancelled. So, the girl over the phone was able to repair the order, but only to find out she had my zip code incorrect to the shipping address. She tells me, you will receive an email in the next 24-48 hours of the correction. So I had a feeling to call back and make sure the correct zip code was changed, well guess what?! NOPE. The guy tells me, once the order has been submitted no changes can be made. I told him I was told different! He said, well sorry, no changes. I told him to let me speak to someone above him; he still made it clear nobody can help you, and changes cant be made. Well, now that was LIE #2!His supervisor gets on the phone and tells me he will send a message to the warehouse since my order had not been shipped yet. I asked him to please send me an email with updated information, he did, but now I wait in fear to see if my dress will arrive. Oh, and hopefully it fits! My stylist measured me with clothes on, and the size that will or is expected to arrive is way oversized!I hope that nobody has this experience! I dont wish this on anyone. I truly hope the customer service changes or finds a way to make things better. I feel like common courtesy customer service is gone. People do NOT understand what it means to serve others, and make others feel welcomed or at least show some common courtesy. I do not feel like I can recommend this place to anyone in the future.

Pronounced Beholden - was the experience I had imagined when thinking of the day I would pick out my wedding dress (even with COVID hurdles). My appointment was personal and private, my stylist, Maeghan, was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. As we tried on dresses and accessories she would explain how/where the tailor would alter my dress so that I understood how the final product would fit.I went to a few different boutiques but the experiences were rough and dress prices were higher than BHLDN. The one grungy sample dress the other stores would have to try on would be so large on me that I would not get a true idea of fit (even with clips), and the reps would make me feel rushed, and it was impersonal. BHLDNs prices are extremely reasonable, they have ALL dresses in sample sizes 4, 14 and 22 so you can try a sample on thats closer to your actual size (& has probably been touched less), and my stylist never made me feel like we were in a hurry. My mom left another store in shock after I told her everything we had just tried on was more expensive than BHLDN because the quality of the experience was so different.I recommend making your appointment wayyyy in advance because this is the only BHLDN in Texas. Also, look at the website before you come in to have an idea of what dresses you may like to try on; however, once you get going and start trying things on your stylist will help pull things you may love based on your feedback.

Just went out from this store, had to write this review right away I’m still in my car,I just went to try some wedding dress in this store, the lady that works there gave me a horrible and embarrassing service . I felt like she just want me to leave the store!!! and didn’t even helped me, she wasn’t even there to help me put the dress on, Don’t go there btw the dresses are stinky and the vibe is very bad !You dont supposed to feel like this when you try on a wedding dress!!!!!!!!!!I wouldn’t even give a one star but there is no option.

Taylor made me and my mom feel so safe & excited to try on options despite the pandemic & need for safety procedures. She made my mom feel like the most important person in the room while shopping for her M.O.B. Dress. I highly recommend BHLDN to anyone needing bridal or formal wear in Houston.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We drove 6hours because my sister fell in love with one of the wedding dresses online. She was fit for the dress, it was paid for and ordered. We left the shop with receipt in hand. We received an email that the order hadnt been processed...no phone call or anything. And now the dress isnt available. My mom spent hours on the phone with customer service and the shop. They refused to accept any responsibility and told her she should of had a backup plan. A backup plan for a dress she paid for and had a receipt for???! Ridiculous. She was finally offered a 15% discount if she would like to purchase another dress but the rep then said the store might not honor it because they dont normally discount wedding dresses. I would not recommend to anyone.

Caroline was a fantastic stylist! She was very helpful but not pushy. I found my dream dress. Everything they have in store is beautiful and very reasonably priced. I think they have something for every bride, whether it is super formal/elegant or courthouse casual. The facilities are private and comfortable while you try on your dress. 5 stars are well deserved.

I had a wonderful experience with Millicent at BHLDN. Despite all the uncertainty with COVID, she still made me feel comfortable and excited about trying on dresses. She helped me find the right look while respecting my budget, and she had great intuition and suggestions. She definitely knows what she’s doing - I’d recommend requesting her as a stylist if you are shopping at BHLDN!

I had two appointments here in the spring/summer of 2019 for my November wedding. Really pretty private rooms and complimentary champagne for everyone. I had the same sales woman both times. I ended up purchasing the Hyde gown, but knew that it needed some alterations since it had really thin fabric and would show lines of everything underneath. The sales woman said it would be so easy to get it lined so we weren’t worried about purchasing the gown.I took it to 4 couture tailors in Austin. ALL of them said it would be a really hard fix. They would have to take the whole dress apart and would be tricky finding the right material to line it with. Not wanting to deal with that, I tried to return the dress but since I was 2 days past the 30-day return policy, I was stuck with it. Zero wiggle room in trying to return the dress and customer service had zero sympathy. Yes, I should have been more on top of taking the dress to the tailors immediately, BUT the sales people should also be more informed on how to tailor their dresses.

I had two try on appointments here with Millicent and she was fantastic. She made great recommendations and clearly understood what I was looking for and respected my budget. I was also impressed with the prices for the quality. And BHLDN made the wedding dress buying experience feel so special with amazing customer service. Getting served champagne during the appointment is the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

BHLDN fulfilled all my hopes for a wedding dress shopping experience. I travelled specifically for this appointment from the DFW area and I am so glad that I did. First off, the store and everything in it is gorgeous! I wanted to try on everything. Millicent my stylist was prompt and fun throughout my whole appointment and maximized our hour together. She had an excellent balance of helpfulness and flexibility—she commented on what I seemed to love the most in the dresses I tried on but I never felt steered or pressured into anything. She was also great at all the logistics around the dress, like recommendations on timing alterations because my dress wasn’t available immediately, keeping close to a budget, and accessorizing the final pick. She provided such a holistic experience in such a short amount of time. BHLDN has so many options at a variety of price points and tastes—I wholeheartedly recommend them to any bride.P.S. Free advice: Listen to your crew. I let my friend pick out one dress out of the nine I tried on, and her pick ended up being the one!

I found my wedding dress here. Its a beautiful store with very pretty private rooms, ample seating for your guests, and complimentary champagne for everyone. My dress came in so quickly, I had it in my closet for months. They also steam your dress on the week of the wedding, which was so helpful. Overall, I had no complaints being a BHLDN bride.

This experience was frustrating. I am from Austin so I had to drive 3 hours to Houston for my first appt. I loved the gown I tried on and the stylist measured me saying a size 4 was best. They had to clip the dress in a few places, and being that this was my first time ever trying on a wedding dress, I didnt even think to ask to try on a 2 since they told me a 4 was best. A week later after taking some time to think about the gown, I emailed my stylist and told her I loved the gown but the floor model was stretched and I asked if I could try on an actual size 4 (not floor model) before buying. She says yes, but I would have to make an appt. So I make an appt and drive down again just to try on the same floor model and have them explain that the only way to try on a new dress is to buy it. I order the size 4, it arrives, and its still too big. So not only was the communication wrong, but the fitting was actually wrong, and they didnt even recommend that I try on the floor size 2. The only reason I am bothering with this review is because the dress costs $1400 before tax and my expectations were high with the service.

Very nice dressing room, very well priced dresses. Not a huge amount of selection, but if youre looking for a more off-beat or boho style of dress, this is a great place to check. Taylor was lovely and helped me find more dresses of the style I liked. It was a very chill experience and I appreciated so so much not being pressured to say yes right away.

I was stunned by style of dresses at BHLDN so I couldn’t wait for my appointment. My first appointment was 45 minutes I tried 5 dresses and instantly knew I had found my dress. A short 3 weeks later my dress arrived and to my horror the “blush” overlay was too pink for my comfort level. I immediately went into the store and worked with Alli on returning the dress. We ordered a new dress, same style, thinking it might have been a mistake. Again, it came in bubble gum pink, which was not the color of the sample in the store.I was horrified thinking I had to start all over with finding a new dress. Alli was amazing, so understanding and easy to work with. Alli set me up with Bridal consultant Millicent who was extremely patient. I thought I was not going to have that SAY YES TO THE DRESS moment but Millicent made my dreams happen and more than I could have expected.

Wow, I cant say enough great things about BHLDN. My group and I drove in from Dallas to the Houston shop because I knew BHLDN had the dress of my dreams (and at a great price point!). I was so impressed the minute we walked in, the shop is SO CUTE! Everyone was extremely friendly, and my stylist Elise was out of this world. We even got to sip on a little bubbly courtesy of the store! They had already pulled the gowns I requested when I booked my appointment so we were able to get started right away. They have such a great selection of any kind of style you could imagine so it was nice to try on styles I didnt know if Id love. I found a beautiful gown, and Elise made the experience great by being encouraging, and having me walk into the middle of the salon in front of a huge mirror, which really sold me! Loved to see how the gown moved and see my familys reaction! I had originally made two appointments (one morning and one afternoon) just in case I didnt find what I was looking for in the first appointment (they are 1 hour slots). I ended up cancelling my second because I found the perfect dress at the first slot! I came back after lunch to make my purchase and they let me try the dress on one last time just to make sure! There was no pressure to purchase, which was so nice! It was overall such an amazing day and more than I could have imagined. Thanks BHLDN! (PS my mom found her dress there too YAY!)

She was so sweet and laid back and really talked through the different options, what/why they were chosen, and just made the whole atmosphere of my appointment relaxed and fun! She is very knowledgeable and you could tell that she truly wanted the best for her client. I highly recommend BHLDN and Millicent to be your stylist!

LOVED my experience at BHLDN! I had to set up a second appointment to make sure I wanted the dress I had picked so I had two different assistants, both of which were FANTASTIC. The second was Alison I believe, but I can’t remember the first girl’s name :(. Elise maybe??? But loved her! Very personable, sweet girls that want the best for you! Oh and my dress is so so so perfect!! Thank you guys so much :)I will say maybe 1 1/2 hour slots may be better than the 1 hour since there are so many gorgeous dresses and so many styles available but i’m thinking they’re probably in high demand so I get it and don’t let it lower my rating of the place :-) if you’re wedding dress shopping.... please try this place!!!

Taylor was our stylist for my fitting and she was AWESOME! Had amazing recommendations about how to alter to dress to make it just the way I wanted it. I was trying on dresses all day at tons of stores and BHLDN/Taylor were the winner. Highly recommend this location and Taylor.

They had some really great wedding gowns at a reasonable price. Taylor was great to work with, she made the experience fun and not daunting at all. By showing her a few dresses I liked that I’d seen online she was able to go to the back and find some amazing dresses for me to try on. She brought in veils and belts to show how to transform dresses with accessories.

Working with Taylor was so fantastic. The appointments only last one hour (not enough time in my opinion) and when I ran out of time, I was still undecided between two gowns that I loved. I traveled from Dallas just for the day for the appointment and was determined to leave with the perfect dress! Taylor worked it out and stayed late with me so that I could try the gowns on again and take my time deciding. She even advocated for me when she knew that my mom and sister were being a little too pushy and trying to sway my decision! She was totally professional and kind, and made me feel super comfortable and happy. And she did all of this while in pain from her wisdom teeth removal! ALL THE LOVE TO TAYLOR for helping me find the perfect dress. Great experience.

I found my wedding dress yesterday at the Houston location of BHLDN and it could not have been a better experience!! Danielle had the dresses I requested to try on ready when I got there, pulled more dresses to try on as my appointment went on, helped me make my decision (because they were all so beautiful), and was just so nice and helpful. The bridal salon was so beautiful and private AND the complimentary champagne made it that much more fun. Highly recommend and can not wait to wear my dress!!

My mother’s dress came from here, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! The dress was conveniently shipped to her house so she could try it on there. It shipped and came in within a few weeks, and it showed up without a problem.

Alison, our stylist was very kind and friendly. She did GREAT. However, the manager Rachel had a terrible attitude. Just a terrible woman…terrible. Completely ruin out experience with her attitude.They need to reconsider who you put in management. They should be friendly and know how to handle stress…It appears Rachel could do neither. Disappointing.

Monica was amazing. Even though I missed confirming the 24 hour confirmation email, which cancelled my appointment, she found a solution to fit me into the schedule. I was visiting from another state, and I really appreciated their staffs professionalism. And the boutique is perfect for an intimate moment with bridesmaids, bubbly and all. Thank you again!

Bought my daughters wedding dress and accessories here. The gowns are beautiful and the prices are outstanding. Her assistant was not as helpful as some of the boutiques we visited, but we got water and champagne, but the prices cant be beat, and she found her dream gown. I am a happy mom.

Jarat was so great as my consultant for my first day of trying on wedding dresses. She helped me try on a wide variety of gowns to help narrow down what I might like. Their selection is bigger than I expected and they even have bridesmaid and mother of the bride dresses too. Not to mention the location is perfect for finding lunch after.

I did my first purchase with BHLDN online a few weeks ago. I got 6 decorative items with the total of $89.69. That was what it showed on the check-out payment and also the receipt that came with the package. However, I found out that they charged me $89.77. I just called the customer service now, just wanted to verify why there were two different amounts. It was strange to me because it never happened before in my life. I was confused and though it might be my bank that charged me an extra fee. I was in a really good mood when I called since I adored this shop so much and I knew Id get a professional assistant. Unfortunately, it only took a few seconds for the representative who I spoke to to changed the image of this shop. She was so rude and raised her tone towards me saying, DO YOU NEED YOUR 6 CENTS?! (actually it was 8 Cents difference just saying). I told her again politely that I was just curious why that happened. I didnt ask her to refund me that small amount. But she repeated herself with the same question. I got so disappointed and told her I know it really is a small amount but Id like to know why they charged me differently than what the receipt says? She got so annoyed and just told me, OK! Ill refund you your $.06! Wow! I was shocked and didnt know what to say. I guess I should not expect anything before I called. I understand it was a small amount but how if that happened before to other customers or will happen again in the future? I never wrote any bad reviews but I guess there is always be a first time and I never thought itd go this shop! Its sad that a nice shop/business has a bad representative. It really hurts the business. I hope the girl could be a nicer, more professional representative not just to a happy customer (even though I was a happy customer to begin with) but also to customers who are lost and even the unhappy ones.

Very helpful staff and amazing dresses. I needed a mother of the groom dress and chose the third one I tried on. Quality of the dresses is excellent for a good price. I recommend making an appointment as they are busy.

This place was amazing! I went to several larger bridal shops in the area and was completely disappointed. I definitely recommend to make an appointment at BHLDN. Their dresses are timeless with vintage inspirations. The price is reasonable for the quality and design of the dresses. The staff are very helpful and do not pressure you to buy a dress. The shop is clean and relatively small, allowing brides to feel comfortable and not overwhelmed. I will definitely go back in the future if I need a nice dressed for a special occasion!

Went in for my bridal appointment and left with such success! I highly recommend researching your favorite gowns online and letting them know ahead of time what styles you are interested in because you only have one hour. My stylist was amazing and gave me ideas I hadnt even thought of. Great prices and great styles. Definitely will be using BHLDN for additional styles in my wedding!

So we’ve finally gotAll our grooms maids dresses ordered, and overall i feel it’s a cute experience. The store was really nice and simple. The stylist are all really helpful. Only thing I’d say is. One of our maids went in for sizing and they misplaced her measurements. And the other thing which I didn’t care for at all. Is there is no option to have the dresses mailed to the store. With all the theft these days you’d think you could mail a $300 dress to the place you bought it from. NOPE 👎. It’s not something you want to take a chance on being left on your door step lol. They didn’t give an option to have it signed for either. To make sure it wouldn’t be left on the porch. Other than that. I’d recommend this place. The dress ordering time frame is the quickest we found. So i hope this is helpful

Although I didnt end up buying a dress from BHLDN, I had a great experience with trying on bridal gowns. Megan was the one who helped me and she was very helpful without any judgement and she was very patient with me. Overall, staff members were very friendly. They have lovely dresses and I would recommend to any of my friends.

I had THE best experience here. Marge (Mary Margaret), was so sweet, knowledgeable, fashionable, comforting, etc. She was perfect. I got a Jenny Yoo trunk show appointment, so the head of design (works very closely with Jenny Yoo) and Marge were with me every step of the way. This was the best experience I’ve had thus far. I had gone to a boutique in Austin, and this was not comparable. The dresses, the selection, the associates, everything was great. I highly recommend going here. Ask for Marge!

Most amazing experience ever! Knew what 3 dress styles I wanted to try (bridesmaids), walked in and was treated in the most welcoming fashion! Was an extremely easy process start to finish! The dresses are amazing!!

First off, I will say I have never actually been to this store as I live in Philly. I had been stalking the Elisa gown online for weeks and when it went on sale, with only one size 0 left, I decided I needed to purchase it. I went through the checkout process just to find it had sold already. I called the store in Georgetown. No luck. I must have called a few times and I was told Id be called back but never received that. I ended up calling Houston. I am kicking myself for not remembering her name, but a very sweet woman helped me on the phone. She searched the store and was able to find a sample of the dress I wanted! She warned that there was some wear on the sleeves. She spoke to her manager and I got the dress at a steep discount. They even mailed it out to me. It was not in the size I was originally going to order, this was a 2. But it ended up fitting perfectly and the flaws from in being a sample are not even noticeable. I am so happy with their customer service!

BHLDN is the perfect shopping experience for brides! The shop has all the charm of Anthropologie but with the elegance of a high end bridal salon. I worked with Rachel and I could not have asked for a better person to help pick a dress for my big day. She is so personable that you fill like youre being helped by an old friend. She had wonderful suggestions and went above beyond. I only go in when shes available and I would recommend to anyone!

Bought my wedding dress here and couldnt have been happier with it! I never expected to feel that moment when trying on a dress, but it came during my first session at BHLDN! I felt like a princess. The dresses they offer are unlike any other bridal salon Ive come across and at prices that are affordable, considering the intricacy and beauty of the pieces. My session was great and the stylist helping me try on dresses even made the reccomendation for a venue that would become our wedding venue (and was perfect for my husband and I).

The only reason why this is getting 3 stars is because I LOVE my dress. BHLDN had dresses that were the stuff dreams are made of when I was planning my wedding, so I was absolutely beside myself to find there was a location in Houston and make an appointment. I brought the women of my family with me, and from the get-go, none of the associates seemed to give a flip we were there to shop for my dress together. I waited several minutes for my consultant to be ready for us to come to the back. When we finally could, she was incredibly standoffish and mumbled when she talked to us. She helped me try on dresses, which is great. However, at one point, I almost tripped over the skirt of a dress, and instead of helping me steady myself, the associate practically yelled, No! Please dont step on the dress! Excuse me?When I did choose a dress, the associate did show me one or two headpieces. I decided on one, and her attitude was the same. Just...dry as a piece of toast. Not excited for me. Not happy. Just flat. My family was so excited Id found the one, and my aunt basically had to ASK for some champagne to celebrate. All this associate wanted to do was make her sale and get us out of there.If I worked with brides (and I do, working at a jewelry store myself), Id be happy for them and Id show it. Id love to listen to their plans for the wedding and Id share all kinds of options with them and make sure their experiences were fun and exciting! This girl just didnt care at all.

I write this review crying right now. I picked out a dress that I fell in love with this past saturday and paid for it. I asked to pay with two cards and was told yes. If I had known it was going to be a problem, and ultimately lead up to what just happened I would have paid cash. I just had to cancel my order due to the complete mess BHDLNs financial dept did to my accounts. They over drafted my accounts and then unapologetically told me that thats the way it was. When I told them that wouldnt work, you could almost see them shrugging their shoulders over the phone. The manager was even more unhelpful, didnt even try to help. I mentioned cancelling and she almost jumped at the opportunity. Ive never felt so defeated. Picking your wedding dress is supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life, and thanks to them I am now writing this review feeling like Ive been robbed. I would recommend staying away from this place. They dont care about their brides at all. Not all brides have an unlimited spending limit on their credit cards, but should be treated fairly given its their day to shine. I feel like the dullest gem now thanks to them.

My experience at BHLDN was great - cant deny that. I found my dress (yay!) and our assistant that day, Katie, was phenomenal.However, I do have a little bone to pick with the appointment times. I had an appointment at 4pm and we arrived about 5 minutes till. I checked in, one assistant called Katie on the radio and told me she was pulling my dresses right out. It wasnt until about 30 minutes later that we were finally brought back into the room and my appointment begun. Turns out that the previous appointment had run over and they gave me my full hour as scheduled. Again, no big deal because I found my dress...but it definitely was not the best first impression for my guests who I brought with me.With that said, the store is beautiful (as expected) and it was so great seeing the items in person vs. online.

Extremely happy with my overall experience. The moment I met Dominque she was patient, helpful and kind. She really did make my time at BHLDN a dream.She kept pace! She kept a great flow while still letting me have my moment in every dress I tired. She was patient! Every dress came with fun comments and photos from my party; she was such a joy to have be a part of the try-on experience. Dominque was mindful of my budget and style, I didnt feel pushed or rushed and she even help me propose to my bridesmaids. I called the store to make sure it was okay with them and they not only said yes but helped me execute it perfectly. After putting on the dress everyone loved one last time. She went in the back to get another veil option and brought out the flowers and notes I dropped off earlier that day. They brought them on cute platters and they kept the surprise. I said yes to a dress and my newly asked bridesmaids and I had a great time.

BHLDN Houston is fabulous! Request Anna as your stylist. She is absolutely wonderful--adorable, funny, sweet, and kind. I felt like I had known her forever. I get overwhelmed really easily but the combination of her personality and the private rooms for each bride and her friends/family made my experience wonderful and stress-free. This is an alternative bridal line but I truly believe that anyone could find their wedding dress here: they have it all.

My experience at BHLDN was fantastic! The staff was very helpful, and the store was beautiful. I brought my sister and mom with me and we had a lovely little private space to ourselves. All of the dresses I requested were hanging there in my size. I found a dress that I loved, and it arrived in less than a week. To top it off, a couple weeks later I received a handwritten thank you note from our consultant who worked with us (Kaitlin), complete with personal details (the dress I ordered, the fact that I am having a beach wedding). Absolutely beautiful dresses, a lovely store, and wonderful customer service.

Love the BHLDN stores! However, just be wary when you order online, several items Ive purchased for our wedding have take anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months to come in because of back orders, just something to keep in mind as you plan for a wedding!

This shop is beautiful! The ambiance is just lovely.Ive been here as a non-bride and was elated that the salespeople were attentive and forthcoming. They answered questions about their products and showed me other pieces I might be interested in. Im excited to come check this place out now that Im engaged!

Every single dress in this store are samples.... i dont really get the idea

While the prices and designs of the dresses are exceptional, the staff needs to be more diligent with their work. My consultant was attentive at the time of the appointment, but failed to tell me beforehand that only 1 of the 5-6 gowns I selected to try on (online while scheduling you select the gowns to try on at your appointment) was actually available for me for appointment. This wasnt a day or twos notice that I made the appointment - it was more than 2 weeks. I think it was careless, and slightly wasteful of my time as I ended up trying on a bunch of dresses that werent at all what I was looking for, just so that my entourage and I felt like our trip and planning was worth the effort. I would not recommend this particular store, though the dreseses are lovely and prices are great.

Hands down the best experience EVER... long but great read ❤️👰🏻Thank you TAYLOR! 😘I started planning my wedding 4-5 years ago and then my soon to be father in law received a devastating diagnosis that the clinical trials he was on had stopped working and there was nothing more they were able to do other than a bone marrow transplant. The insurance didn’t want to cover the transplant because of his age and it was a sad time so we stopped planning. Thank God his case worker kept pushing and got his transplant approved. 4 months after his transplant Hurricane Harvey hit and flooded the wedding dress I had purchased from BHLDN and it dat in flood waters for 3 weeks. It was just another blow and devastation. Of course so many lost so much more and I was able to focus my energy on helping others in the community and not on my flooded wedding dress...(STICK WITH ME)Through Gods work I was able to spend the next year and a half giving back to families that flooded from Hurricane Harvey and I felt like perhaps it was all just part of a bigger picture. At the end of 2018 we found out my soon the be father in law was in remission from his transplant and we were so thankful. January of 2019 we decided it would be a good time to start wedding planning again and of course I got so excited!! We toured one venue and then found out his father was in the hospital and this time he has a brain tumor.... I felt like my wedding planning had been cursed. Not kidding. Anyways, this time we decided we were going to keep planning. I was hesitant to tour another venue but we did it anyways and I fell in love. Fast forward to a few weeks (yesterday) later and I go back to BHLDN where I had purchased my original dress that flooded to try on dresses again. I was greeted by the nicest person ever her name is Taylor after chatting about dresses and the wedding she mentions she got married where I plan to get married... total coincidence ✨she was able to show me her stunning wedding pictures and even give me some tips on the venue. I tried on several dresses while I was there and while I didn’t find the exact dress I want to wear ( still deciding between a few and want to try on a few more there) I found this amazing cape that is literally EVERYTHING! I am obsessed with it. I left without ordering it though but planned to call and order it before the weekend was over. Today, I get a text from Taylor saying that she and the other girls that work there are ordering the cape for me and paying for it. (Cue tears for the rest of the day) I am floored by how special and kind these ladies are. I don’t feel like my wedding plans are cursed anymore because these ladies literally made my year today by their kind gestures. Thank you BHLDN Houston girls from the bottom of my heart. You truly turned this brides wedding planning mood around and on top of that Taylor was just so great to work with yesterday. I felt so special trying on each gown and I am so happy that I decided to go back to BHLDN. My fiancé says I need to buy everything from their now and I could not agree more. ❤️BHLDN really has a great group of ladies working there and it shows through how you treat your customers.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and specifically, Jarat, the stylist who helped me today and almost 1 year ago (long story). I was nervous going in for initial appointments and had 3 scheduled initially - my first appointment of the day was at BHLDN and it was a dream experience, above and beyond the second 2 appointments (both at very popular, well respected bridal stores). Jarat made me feel comfortable and was genuinely kind to me and my family. Meeting her, you can immediately tell she has a great sense of style, and shes a bridal expert. I went back today for a second appointment by myself and the experience was just as perfect as the first. Jarat helped me confirm every little detail down to my earrings, and she never seemed bothered to continue pulling items for the perfect thing.At no point did I feel pressured to buy something outside my budget, or feel like a second class citizen for not wanting to spend $5,000+ on my wedding dress (like I felt elsewhere). Jarat will freely give you her opinion on any aspect, and if something isnt quite right, she will tell you, even if it means you dont buy that item at the store, or from BHLDN at all. Objective opinions are hard to come by with family and friends, but by working with Jarat as an unbiased outsider, I feel so excited for my wedding day outfit. Go see her! You will not regret it.

My fiancé went here and saw a dress she liked. However, because she didnt have an appointment, was not allowed to try it on. After such a long drive out there, such customer service is terrible. There were at least 3 members of staff doing nothing at the time, so their excuse of needing a member of staff to help was feeble.This shop has lost our business, and while perhaps it might be better service if an appointment is made, such terrible treatment of a walk-in is a sure way to annoy people (and definitely not how a future bride wants to be treated in what should be a happy occasion).

After the worst experience ever with Davids Bridal... this was such a wonderful experience! My dress I had requested to try on was waiting for me along with others my stylist thought I might like in my price range. I was never rushed nor made to feel bad about my low budget range. I fell in love with the Violetta dress and I cant wait to wear to at my wedding. My dress also arrived in the mail within a week! Thank you!

Customer service is really awful at the highland village location. Attendants were really unhelpful; for instance, an attendant gave me a size 10 dress when I asked for a size 2. She said this was all they had available in the store, so I went looking for the dress myself and found my size. Strange. In addition, many of the dresses had make up stains and lip stick on them.Lastly, there were a couple ROACHES on some dresses at the store. This is a health hazard and needs to be addressed.I really don’t understand why the customer service and quality are so different from Anthropologie, which I love very much. The dresses are really cute and a great deal, but will stick to ordering online from now on.

My daughter was so excited about her appointment at this store. For one year, she visited the website regularly, noting which dresses she loved. She lives in Denver but was in town for a half marathon. She was fortunate to get an appointment Sunday morning, 11:15. Her Dad and I accompanied her. What should have been a wonderful, pleasant memory for all three of us turned into a sad, confusing hour. Our specialist was nice but zero help. Her energy level was 0.5 out of 10 and she could have written the script for what NOT to say. My daughter is a size 4. She has an athletic build - not an hourglass figure. Every dress she tried on was cinched so tightly that it made her look overweight and out of shape. Then, when it was apparent the dresses looked awful, the specialist suggested she get Spanx and even a corset. Spanx and a corset for someone who is a size 4?!? If a size 4 cannot look beautiful in a wedding dress, what hope is there for the size 12 and 14s? My daughter tried on five dresses and none of them looked good because the specialist cinched them so tightly that they were hideous - even distorting the original design. Who does this? I told my daughter she did not have to buy her dress there, although we were completely prepared to do so. My daughter left in tears, my husband and I were very upset, and now I am one angry Mom. Note to specialists: not every Bride wants to look like she was dipped into her wedding dress. For others who dream of buying their wedding dress at BHLDN, trust yourself first. Do NOT let the specialist cinch you into something that fits their dream - not yours. Horrible, horrible experience. I told my daughter with time, we will laugh about this. It was that bad. I gave the store two stars because the store was attractive and the dog, a Brussels Griffin, was cute.

My mom and I stopped in when BHLDN was having a huge sale on all the bridesmaids/party dresses. The store just keeps going and going! Every part has its own little section, in the front there is the bridesmaid/party dresses, the center theres the decorations, books and unique items that make BHLDNs decor super desirable, then you are in accessories heaven! Last but not least there is the bridal section. I was impressed by how much inventory they had on the floor and will definitely be going back to look for my wedding! All the employees were really nice and helpful and made my shopping experience relaxed, I didnt feel like I was constantly being hounded but I still felt taken care of which sometimes is hard to do.

I went to three bridal shops and BHLDN was the most welcoming and attentive to my needs. The stylist was wonderful and the dresses were beautiful.

Came in with a girlfriend getting hitched. The ladies who serviced the store were immediately warm. My GF had an appointment with Taylor who was great! She had valuable and informed input as we went along with the process. The champagne was a nice touch and the aesthic of the store is delicious! What a fun experience when looking for The Dress. We never felt pressured or rushed. Taylor was extremely gracious when we said that we had one final appointment the following week at Nordstrom. She shared some tips to find the same designer there as the top dress at BHLDN. She finished out the appointment in the same generous and professional manner as when the appt started. Nordstroms was TERRIBLE. Where Nordstrom was insincere and icky, our BHLDN appt was great. We ended up going back and getting the one from Taylor @ BHLDN, who let my gf put the dress back on. She let us plan and discuss ideas and suggestions for alterations, shipping expectations, accessories, etc.All around really great experience- TWICE. If you want a professional, well informed and calming consultant, Taylor was our girl! Although, all the staff seemed pretty genuine and customer centered. The price was also so great for our price point.

BEST WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE, HANDS DOWN! My consultant, Jessica was absolutely wonderful. She was so sweet & though we were on a time constraint with the appointment on a busy holiday weekend (which by the way, is going to happen anywhere, any weekend!) she was on a mission to make the most of the time we had without pressuring me to make a decision within the time frame. I was leery of how the experience would be & how the quality of dresses would be since they are inexpensive in respect to the bridal world but I was shocked at how nice the fabrics, detail, lace & beadwork were on the gowns. The store itself was beautiful, clean & the fitting area for a bridal appointment felt so intimate! I tried on nearly every dress I requested prior to the appointment & was told two days before my appointment which dresses were going to be unavailable to be tried on. The other consultants were very discreet if they had a bride that wanted to try on a dress we had, which I appreciated! Its the little details like that others may not notice that make such a huge impact on the experience. I ultimately left my appointment in love with two different dresses & wanted to sleep on it before making a decision. Jessica was sweet as can be about it, gave us all of the information needed & sent us on our way. I ended up returning the following day to order my dream dress & could not be happier! The size I needed was backordered, they mentioned it up front before ordering but I didnt mind & I was not supposed to receive it until the end of October but got notification yesterday (September 11th) that it already shipped! If I could give BHLDN & Jessica 10 stars I would! Dont waste your time or money dress shopping anywhere else.

If I could give BHLDN Houston less than one star I would. We visited early morning 11/11 and were told many times with reassurance that if we placed an order this AM we could call the store back later in the day and our stylist would cancel it if we found something somewhere else. We wanted to be upfront about visiting other stores. The store was not accommodating when this did happen and had us calling corporate who would not cancel it until making “an exception”. Your stylists need to either 1. Know the process or 2. Not blantantly lie to customers. BHLDN Houston should be ashamed of lying to brides to be.

Backorder nightmare, do not plan to order a dress from BHLDN unless your event or/wedding is more than 6 months away. In early August I ordered the Sterling Dress for an October wedding, and did not receive it until beginning of October, 3 months later. Unfortunately the dress is cut much smaller on average than other dresses, so I needed another size. Even though I waited 3 months for the first dress, BHLDN said I would have to wait another month for another Sterling dress. Sadly I will not be able to wear the dress intended for the wedding, and had to go shopping elsewhere with immediate inventory. I would not order from BHLDN, the store location is pointless to visit, because they do not keep any inventory, so you will always have to wait to receive by order any dress from them. Also on top of everything else, when I returned the Sterling dress, the sale associate attempted to tell me that she would not offer a return because my order date was over 30 days ago. I told her that it was a back order, and then she tried to offer me store credit. I would never recommend BHLDN to anyone

I bought my wedding dress here! My consultant, Jarat, was amazing, and super attentive to what I liked and didnt like about the dresses. I ended up settling on a beautiful lace gown that was on sale. They also had a great selection of formal gowns and bridal related items. I will definitely be back for a Mardi Gras ball gown.

I didnt even get to make it to the store before they sent an email that pretty much stated that I was too large to fit into their dresses and wanted to make sure I was okay with that. No bride-to-be wants to hear that.
