Friendly & knowledgeable. Had 2 issues with the car causing it to vibrate rather strong which the mechanics were able to uncover and take care of same day at a fair price. The experience started with Mr. Mahim. I believe thats how you spell his name. He was nice. He even offered to help me getting my alignment from a neighboring business, because they dont offer it. It was quick and efficient. He also educated me in the oil change instead of just trying to get me in the most expensive one offered. He looked out for my pockets. Ill be back to this location Definitely.

I took my wifes Mercedes For a knocking noise that was coming from the front end of the car.2 other mechanics couldnt figure out where the noise was coming from.His mechanic of 20 years experience took his time checked it drove it and figured out that I needed 2 upper control arms actually all I needed was one but we opted to change both. I was in-and-out in an hour and a 1/2. The owner was honest trustworthy and straightforward they showed me what the problem is they told me how much its gonna cost and they did exactly what they promised in a Timely manner. I would very much recommend this place.

They checked the fluids in my vehicle. They noticed that there was no water in the hose the connects to the radiator. And the rook care of the issue. Very nice, very knowledgeable and professional. Will definitely go back.

Went to mineike to have my Cadillac converter checked. The guys put it on the rack and showed us what was missing. The owner was so nice in shopping around for the parts. He found us the best deal. They got the parts and had it fixed in a few hours. They were very good and honest to us. I would recommend them anyday to a person.

Went for oil change. Got the full synthetic for $69.95. At checkout shared coupon for $10, the receipt showed a “$10 labor” and “$4 oil filter” charge. Funny how the labor charge was exactly $10 which was the coupon. Never have I ever paid labor charge for an oil change or separate filter charge. It’s all inclusive. Shady for sure. Will not return in future.

Went to get my air checked met a very sweet lady who explained how much she trusted meineke and I could totally understand why! I felt very taken care of fixed my air conditioning for free if i have any other car issues I could totally see my self returning.

They performed a smoke check for my EVAP system, drove to a dealership to pick up the needed part, and finished the repair for a good price in less than the time they said it would take.

Went in due to my car stopped working. Was told I needed an alternator. I agreed to the work. The mechanic took me to buy the part for them to replace. 2hours later my car is finished being serviced, I leave and turn on the air conditioning and now it isnt working. It was working great before they got under my hood. I went back and all they are saying is it isnt their fault all they did was the alternator. They didnt offer any resolution or have a care in the world. They just kept saying we on;y did the alternator which is b.s. because my ac was NEVER an issue. They havent heard the last of me. I am contacting the news stations and beyond. A lot of mechanic shops do these types of things especially to women customers so we have to bring the car back, I will not stand for the lack of integrity in this business. A resolution needs to happen and I will make sure something is done. 1 star is to much if i could give 0 I would. Signed. A highly dissatisfied customer

Came in for an appointment for wheel alignment. Was turned away because they dont actually offer this service, and admitted other information on their website was wrong.Why take the appointment? A waste of time.Seemed friendly though.

Worst possible place to get service. Wayne was obviously agitated with phone calls, would huff and puff at every question.Took car in to have wiper blade motor repaired and came out with screeching blades and a cracked windshield. Brought issue to their attention and they asked me to bring it back a few days later. Took it back for a 5 second look at the damage and told to wait for a call. I had to call them 2 days later to be told I have to come back the following week and they would “try” to have it fixed.Had the radiator and cap also replaced due to damages caused by a meineke location close to my apartment, and now my car has issues with rough idle that started the day I got my vehicle back!I’m not sure how this company stays open! They can’t seem to actually fix anything without creating more problems!

They replaced my battery and was knowledgeable with quick service. The battery was the wrong size and they allowed me to take a picture of the old one before installing it back under the passenger seat. I exchanged the battery and they replaced it with no problems. Pretty shady place to go to. Highly recommend going elsewhere. They will try to get you for every penny you got. Misdiagnosis to charge money. Went there a few years back. They were supposed to replace rack and pinion. They said it would be a while. Walked over to the burger king near by to grab something to eat while I wait. Walked back only to see the guy who was supposed to be working on my car sitting there. About an hour and half later, they said my car was ready. Paid an arm and a leg for something that was never touched. Lesson learned.

To be honest, go somewhere else. Even for an oil change. I got a tune up and oil change, and they didnt put enough oil so i couldve ruined my car. I had a few thousand miles left until the next change. They didnt even put my engine cover back on after, so I called them and suddenly they couldnt find it so now I have to go to the junk yard to get another one. They are nice to you, make you feel good about being there, but its slipshod work and you should never rely on a nice demeanor alone.I found another mechanic off San Jacinto and 59 that is safe for women to get any kind of work done without leaving under suspicion, and their track record is long standing.

They charged me $124 for nothing. I will never come back here again. I had the engine shield replaced underneath my car and it wasn’t properly attached. Literally the day after they supposedly had fixed it, it came right off! They tried to say that I was the one who damaged it or that I hit something. It was fixed for ONE DAY! I’ve had maintenance like that done on my car before and the parts didn’t just break in a day. The manager is also extremely rude and defensive, so be prepared if you have any questions or complaints. Absolutely terrible service. I’ll be making a call to corporate.

I had gone to Firestone needing a coolant flush. They came back stating I had a leak in the radiator, needed a new. cap and temperature guage...980.00. um. NO. Went to Minekee and they ran some tests. NO leaks and car NEVER overheated. Apparently there was water within the coolant so they first used a chemical to flush and clean the water out then added coolant. No leaks and works wonderfully. price tag. 150. They were VERY honest and transparent about what I needed. Minekee on Shepard is now my goto shop!!

My girlfriend and I came here early on a Saturday morning to get her Jeep State Inspection completed. Within 10-12 minutes, we were in and out and all was completed. Incredibly satisfied and easy and quick service.

Every time i have came here they have had to compensate me with a “oil change”, so what that tell you. This second and last time was my last straw. I took my car here, paid for a diagnosis, they claimed to fix it but it broke down the next day. (I paid $500) they told me to bring it back ($120 tow) and said they didn’t know what was wrong but the other stuff they did was “necessary”. I PAID YOU TO FIX MY CAR FROM STOPPING AND FIGURE OUT WHATS WRONG WITH IT. He claim he didn’t know what was wrong and recommend me to somebody else. with no refund for not knowing or fixing my car.

Wow -so glad I stopped here. My car starter was not working well, and I was concerned about getting stranded. The front office was so helpful and my car was out in no time. It now works perfectly. I highly recommend this location.

I went in to have my AC checked out because it stopped working. The team at Meineke got me in quickly, my repair was done in less than an hour and the prices were reasonable.

My car is essential to my work and personal well being. The shop on Shepard in Houston looks after my investment/auto with total care. Several times the parts were upgraded based on the type of driving I do. Their approach is a wholistic approach towards keeping me on the road safely.

ONLY COME HERE FOR OIL CHANGES.There was one cool guy who helped me out but the business as a whole is kind of unprofessional.. if you’re a first timer you may want to walk into the garage and ask for help. They’re not fast workers but I’d only take my car here for an oil change.

Mr. Mahar provided excellent service and was so kind to try to help me save money in replacing both the front and rear bakes of my car. He didn’t try to upcharge me or confuse me with mysterious issues with the car as I came in alone. He pointed out an issue of two bolts on one of my tires, not super urgent to fix now but for future reference. If you have a coupon, Mr. Magar will honor it IF IT’S A COUPON FOR HIS LOCATION. So if you have a coupon for Meineke, make sure the address of the location the coupon is for is correct. Will most definitely be coming back and I enjoyed the level of service that was given

Just had my sons Corvette taken in to see what was wrong. They put a new Radiator and new transmission in the car.. They did a great job. They manager was very helpful and understanding about the cost. He gave me a great deal. I would definitely recommend .

Had been coming here for a while but Im not anymore...... I went in because my car was displaying check charging system on the dash. I went in and told them what was happening and they put it on their machine, and the mechanic said that it was my sensor and the terminals needed to be replaced they charged me $230 and said the problem was fixed. I paid and left. About five blocks down the road my dash started displaying the same message I took it right back and they said they had to keep it overnight to see what was wrong. The next day, they called me back talking about it was the regulator on the alternator. And that it was going to be almost 600 bucks Im like what the hell!!!!why did the Ill just fix that instead of telling me the other stuff needed to be fixed it charged me two hundred and thirty bucks for nothing. they just lost my business......

This is my 3rd time coming in 7 month. They usually have good service. I called them the day before and john said to come in at 8 am, the sooner the better. I tell them I will be there at 8. They didnt finally open their doors and ready till 8:17am. He was nice but didnt care he was late.

YOU WONT GET IT BACK THE SAME!!!I paid double the price compared to other competitors, that was including my Employee discount (12% but Meineke offered 20% if I chose them) . I was only advised of the price AFTER they performed the work. They for some reason TOOK MY VEHICLE OFF THE PROPERTY with out my permission. Stating “THE ALIGNMENT HAD TO BE DONE OFF PREMIS AT A DIFFERENT SHOP”. Biggest Red Flag Ever! But I couldn’t do anything because I’m a girl and they were pretty huge guys. But they had already touched my car. When my car was returned before the end of the day the battery blew up, literally, and my starter was shot! I had an 85 point inspection BEFORE I chose this place to do the work needed. (Inspection was done at a reputable 5 star place but the wait was too long for my repairs (weeks ahead) I had another done AFTER the work was done. The results: THEY SWITCHED OUT PARTS TO MY VEHICLE!!!!! How the heck are they still open?? And if you look at the google review, which I should’ve done but didn’t because my employer trusted the brand, Google shows stolen and switched out parts FOR YEARS!!! Are you serious!!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! IT IS A CHOP SHOP DISGUISED AS A FRANCHISE!!!!

Came here just to get a battery replaced. Could have done it myself for ~$50, but I figured I would pay a little extra for the convenience. I made the mistake of not asking how much it would cost. An hour later they charged me $450. For a standard battery replacement. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back.

After already having our oil change in the process the manager told me it was more money on top !!!!!! This shop is ripping people off ! This is my go-to for oil changes and other maintenance. Mark and the rest of the guys go the extra mile every time to help me to ensure that my car is in great working order. On my last visit, they showed me that one of my tires had almost no tread left at all and, out of extreme concern for my safety, they urged me to go immediately to the closest tire shop and have it replaced. I recently had some minor body work done at a nearby shop and actually replaced a different tire within the last month but was never informed by either of those shops about my worn tire. If Mark and the guys hadnt caught the issue it could have resulted in something catastrophic. Highly recommended.

Happened at Meineke Car Care Center on Aug 17th, 2019 between the hours of 8A-10A.Meineke Car Car Center932 N ShepherdHouston, TX. 77008Just caught this shop trying to pull a scam. First of all I presented the sales rep with a $50 coupon for brakes service that states it would be $25 off if I change only one side. Which is fine as I only needed the fronts. I agreed to the $25 but the shop only took off $16.I came in looking to get my front brake pads replaced and immediately the store rep tried to upsale me. He explained that not only were the fronts worn, but the rears was as-well. Not once did they ever remove the back tires to inspect it, so how would they know? I was persistent and told them I only needed the fronts done so the sales rep proceeded to order me a pair of pads from Autozone. 30-45 minutes later a AZ delivery man dropped off the pads and I noticed that the box wasn’t the right color as I usually do my own maintenance and is familiar with how AZ labels their boxes. I’m from OK and is just visiting so I do not have my tools to perform the service. I spoke to the AZ rep and I asked him if the pads he just delivered is for a 2012 Toyota 4Runner and he said yes. I asked him for a copy of the invoice and took a photo of it. Did a quick search on AZ’s website with the model# and found that I was charged for the high-grade pads and the shop ordered the low grade. I confronted the sales rep and the first thing he said is “you can’t be talking to my delivery drivers.” First of all, they’re not YOUR delivery driver as they work for AZ. Secondly, the AZ rep did nothing wrong. I asked the shop sales rep why this was done and he immediately denied it stating he must’ve ordered the wrong piece. I understand mistakes happen, but his actions afterwards showed me he had no remorse and it was done intentionally. Once he realized I wasn’t backing down he got upset and asked for my credit card to issue a refund, ordered the technicians to re-install the original pads, then told me leave. I picked up the phone and called the customer satisfaction line and while I was on hold, he called AZ to speak to, I’m assuming the GM, and couldn’t reach him, name he asked for was Frank. He then asked whoever answered the phone to have Frank call him back. Minutes later, a technician came in with my keys and I left.If I was a clueless customer who knew nothing about cars, they would’ve gotten away with it. And I’m sure they have PLENTY of times before and WILL plenty more in the future.I wanted to make this public to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Absolutely ridiculously unprofessional. Made appointment to have an oil change for veterans day 2 weeks prior with Mark and called 2 days before to ensure my appointment and my vehicle would be serviced again with Mark. The day of my appointment I was told by Mark they are not taking any more vehicles for the veterans oil change and go to another meineke... REALLY? Unreal this place need staff that know whats going on and have the correct information. I will NEVER go to this place or recommend it!!!

On 11/15/14 Meineke serviced my 2006 Chrysler Pacifica for front breaks. Great price and great service. They did the job right and in a timely manner. Then on 12/06/14 my car over heated and they fixed the problem that afternoon. I left the car over night to get addition work done for the next morning (Saturday). They changed out both front tie rods and put in a new CV axle. Once again, great price and great work. The manager, J, was right on top of everything. Very professional and knows his stuff. The mechanics also know what they are doing and were working hard to get cars in, fixed, and out of there. I will be taking my car to this Meineke in the future as I plan on holding on to this car for a while. With these guys, my Pacifica might just get another 100,000 miles out of me!
