I went to Steph based on other reviews here, and wow she did not disappoint. Steph is AMAZING! She was kind, quick, and (if you can believe it) made the whole process nearly painless. I’ve been to a few specialists over the years and she is hands down the best ever.

I had an interesting encounter with the new workers at EWC. It seems like they got rid of all of the old front desk workers and hired new ones.. I’ve been going to this location for over 1 year now and I have never had a negative experience with the front desk workers. These girls seemed like they had no idea what they were doing and the manager had quite an attitude with me during the check out process as if she was frustrated. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I wish they had the same front desk workers from a couple of months ago; they made me feel very at home and welcoming. Looking for a new location now! Just beware for unprofessional an in the front. Management is terrible. I’m quite shocked and disappointed.

I’ve been going to EWC for quite some time now and had a lady I went to on the regular for my Brazilians. Whenever I graduated college and found my own place back home I was having to drive an hour out just to go to that same lady and over time I got tired of the drive. I finally decided to try an EWC location that was 10 mins away from my house and I was super nervous about going to someone new but Serina completely EXCEEDED my expectations! She was so detailed in everything and so pleasant to talk to while waxing! So glad I found her!

I had an appointment with NIARRA for 7:45 instead of calling me they waited until I got there to try to cancel my appointment because she was going over time with another customer. No one was trying to accommodate me. And I could hear them in the back having full conversation I was still sitting to be serviced 25 min after my scheduled appointment. Very unprofessional

I have been coming here for months and they have the best team ever! Stephanie is the best, she is so nice and does the best job, no pain at all! The front manager is amazing. BEST local store of all the franchises/locations. When you feel like paying the $$ for the always-MEH European Wax product (desperate times) consider this location! I would actually say that Chardonnay and team can just go rogue and ditch the brand altogether! Thanks guys.

This was my first time and I had an amazing experience with Stephanie. She was so quick and the conversation was fun! Almost forgot I was getting a Brazilian wax! And the center manager chardonnay was very friendly and explained everything detailed and answered questions patiently. Definitely will return!

LOVE this location. I have tried a couple other locations, Voss@ San Felipe is with out a doubt my favorite! Chardonnay, the manager is so friendly and accommodating! I’ve never had to wait on an appointment or had trouble booking. I am always welcomed by first name basis and nothing but outstanding customer service! They sell you what you need they don’t try and over sell or take your money. Chardonnay is so knowledgeable about what it is that’s going to serve you best as well as placing you with the right person. Steph my waxer is just amazing all around. She does her job so well. I have never had pain, discomfort or any kind of awkward moments being that she sometimes waxes sensitive areas. I also feel like she knows my whole life story being that she is so personable, which is what I need . This place is awesome the front of house and back of house work so smoothly together. I would recommend this location to anyone I know. Thank you for always taking care of me! 😊

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years and these ladies are my sisters. Tierra is my wax specialist and she’s constantly informing me on what is best for my skin. Very knowledgeable and knows her stuff! I moved to another side of town and still committed to this location!

This location is amazing. Chelsea is amazing. She was wax specialist. I barely feel a thing. She made me feel very comfortable. She taught me about skin exfoliating. And recommended a great product. The receptionist was also extremely nice. I will be going back to this location.

First time getting my brows done by waxing. I really love the vibes from the place and my eyebrows came out great! I came late to my appointment (my own fault) and they were able to rearrange my appointment. The ladies at the front are friendly and nice. I forgot the waxers name but she was so great! she did a really good job :)

I loved my experience here. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, from Jennifer at the front desk to the management team (Fatima and Lynn) to my wax specialist, Cathy. I was referred to Cathy by a friend of mine and now I wonder why I ever went anywhere else. She made sure to make me comfortable and calm throughout the whole process. This was by far the best experience Ive ever had at a wax center.

I love this place! Steph is an AMAZING wax specialist and I am so excited that Chardonnay is now the Center Manager!! I live within walking distance but just started going here a little over a year ago. Chardonnay wasnt at the desk the first time I went but i fell in love with her the minute I met her on my next visit! And, Steph! She has an eye for finding the hair on my face and we have worked hard to shape my brows and to get them to grow out where they need to grow out. (That may sound funny to a younger person, but at this stage of life, the brows are sparser than they used to be.) These Ladies do a remarkable job, but even more than that, theyre my friends. Im a new customer of European Wax Center, located on 1415 S. Voss Rd. I was a little nervous, as Im a first timer. Never had anything waxed, except my eye brows. When I walked in, I was met by someone very nice at the front desk. Then Steph came out. She had an amazing personality, that put me at ease. When I got in the room, things got even better. Steph was calming, professional, funny, considerate and just plain amazing. She totally made my experience a good one. Steph is someone they should definitely keep and give bonus points to!! This location is the best in the area! Chardonnay and Mariah at the front are fun and easy to connect with! The waxers are so professional and make you feel beyond comfortable.

They’re always behind on the schedule so expect a delay. The techs are nice but I’ve had more problems than good experiences.

Today I had the worst experience with this location first off I had got the passes and I tried to cancel the passes and they tried to charge me a 25 dollar fee which is fine but they never made me aware of the cancelation fee when I signed up. When I was trying to cancel. Ms. Chardonnay was very RUDE to me very disrespectful I will never go back to this location and it’s sad because the lady that does my service Laura is a very sweet young lady and very respectful.

Always a good experience. Have never had a bad waxer and I go to all locations. Stephanie at the San Felipe location does great work! (Least painful Ive ever had!). First time is half off or something and even at full price its a great deal compared to other places. They use a special kind of wax that cools on your skin so no strips needed/less painful than strips! Its alot better ! Just go for it!

I fell in love with this place. The receptionist were very friendly, and Jackie made my eyebrows look so good! I never thought I could say this, but Im not going back to the my brow lady who has done them for the past 10 years. I highly recommend this place.

Chelsea and Stephanie are the best waxers at Voss! theyre usually fully booked so call ahead to schedule with them. All the girls here are super nice though and provide a relaxing visit. In my experience, with those 2 ladies, I get considerably less ingrowns / missed tweeze hairs.

Very friendly staff. I got there early and they took me early. As enjoyable as waxing can be. Shawana did an excellent job and was very pleasant.

Full disclosure: I am writing this review with a warm compress on my bikini area. I got waxed Saturday afternoon and today is Tuesday.I was reluctant to go back to European Wax. My last three waxes have been with them (one at the Royal Oaks location and twice at the San Felipe/S. Voss location.) While the staff is professional and the locations are clean, I feel the staff isnt as skilled as other spas. Ive been waxing for several years and European Wax is the only place that I have negative experiences.My wax Saturday was the most painful ever and I literally cried on the table. The technician was overly chatty, like a teenager and she wasnt as careful as Id like (because she was talking so much).Without asking about a soul patch or landing strip, she applied wax to the middle. I told her I always leave some there but it was too late. As she tried to pull the wax, it broke...so you know what that meant: More tugging. As if that wasnt bad enough, she continued on to the next section and got wax on the section opposite it. Rather than trim the wax as I suggested, she decided to tug from afar.The pain overall was about a 9.5 on a scale of 1-10 and I cried.This is where her lack of maturity and skill shone through: to relax me, she told me her very own wax horror story. Yes, while Im in tears with more waxing to go, the technician told me while she was in training her friend dropped a glob of wax in the center of her Chewbacca crotch and ultimately her teacher had to rip it off with all her might. I had to focus all my energy on deep breathing to overcome that story and get finished.I went home and took aspirin. Sunday I noticed some swelling and took more aspirin. By Monday, I had tiny little white bumps all over the front and creases of my bikini area!I immediately went to my gyno who explained it was a reaction to the waxing experience and all I can do is apply a warm compress, topical cream twice a day until it goes away in a few days and take ibuprofen for the pain.Yall. I can barely walk. I am so pissed off and in so much pain. I cant stand to touch it to apply the cream because Im tender from the top of my panty line downward. This is the first time I have had a breakout from waxing.I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, but I would value a skilled and careful technician so much more.European Wax, please keep your technicians in training a bit longer or offer on-going training or master technicians who can come and help when an inexperienced one has a client CRYING on the table.
