This is my first oil change and inspection, and they didnt even tell me I need to change the air filter, left a mess around my engine, plus I was supposed to get a tire rotation and it was not done, I know this because the back rim has a scratch I did a week ago. This car is a 2021 TLX with only 4,765 miles on it. They treated this car as if was on the side of the road for sale and I paid $2k cash for it. Im really disappointed and glad I didnt pay for this complimentary appointment. Im still dont feel comfortable that they actually changed my oil, to top it off they put water where the windshield fluid goes. Im beyond disgusted with their Service Department 😐

I went to see a vehicle two days in a row. The first day I was told they don’t accept payment from Navy Federal. I double checked later that day and found out they in fact do. The second day I spoke to a “senior sales associate” who told me they do accept funding but it may take some time for them to get their money. He insisted that I re-apply for a loan with Navy Federal through the in house sales team to see if I could get a better rate. In reality he wanted to see what amount I was approved for because I told him I did not plan on putting any money down. He came back with a price that was $2k over the list price online. When I asked about negotiating a $1k up charge for tinted windows (yes a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland that didn’t come with tinted windows), he sat back in his chair very smug, waved his hand and told me the price was non-negotiable. There was no warranty or anything on the truck and I would have been willing to put money down on top of giving them the $18k check I had in my pocket from Navy Federal if he was willing to negotiate. Not only did they inconvenience me on day one they were very dismissive in their sales approach obviously because they know the car market is in their favor right now. Terrible review for terrible service. Very uncompromising and dismissive. Any used car price should be negotiable especially for a $20k truck when they do not offer any guarantees for protection. They only care about your money not quality sales service for what you are spending with them.The car was very nice though!

I got a very hard sell call from this dealer to by my 2014 Mercedes E350 Sport, which was in excellent condition with low mileage. I finally agreed to go by and receive an offer above Kelly value. As they say we always give offers for good cars $1K to 5K above Kelly value. Well guess what, I went by and they said my car was really a nice car but too many are on the market and then offered under Kelly value. I said they knew what my car was before they called me and put the hard sell on me so why did they do it? Why did they lie? They said they did not lie?????????? These people are so corrupt they do not even know when they lie.
Do not recommend selling your vehicle here.I sold my vehicle to Gillman Acura last month, and the paperwork portion of the transaction was simple and straight forward (aside from the typical car dealership dishonesty--we can only sell it for this much, so we can only offer you this much, but then actually sell it for thousands more).My rating is based on Gillman having already sold my vehicle before I have even been paid. I understand it takes time for the proper paperwork to be filed and disseminated between the dealership, the lein holder, the state, etc., but what is not right about this transaction is that Gillman had sufficient documentation to sell my vehicle to another party before they have paid me for it. How do you sell something youve not even paid for?How can you require the clean title in hand before youll cut the check to me, but you can sell it to someone else and collect your profit before me? This is dishonest and a poor business practice. You obviously were able to determine the title was clean before selling it unless youre selling used vehicles without doing so, which I doubt.Do better.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Scam artists. Trying to take advantage of women who they think don’t know anything about vehicles. Went in with my own financing and approval and they not only tried to tell me my interest rate was higher but tried to scam me into an almost $200 more a month car note. Will never go back and will never recommend them to anyone.
I cant say enough about all of the folks I worked with at Gillman. After going to 6 dealerships in San Antonio, I reached out to Robert at Gillman who was really, really great. Almost every time Ive bought a car, sales is great until they hand me over to finance and then I never see them again. Finance was great at Gillman, but I cant say enough about Robert. He took care of us. He was patient, understanding and incredibly kind throughout the entire process. Ive never had a better car buying experience in my life! ❤️
Miguel, my service advisor, is one of the best in the business. Kind, friendly, and ready to bend over backwards to provide the best quality service. Service technicians Edgar and Kyle are very knowledgable and completed extensive repairs on my vehicle quickly and most importantly, correctly, and never tried to upsell me or tell me that my vehicle needed work that it didnt actually need. Best of all, every oil change comes with a tire rotation and a car wash, so you definitely get what you pay for here. The facility is always clean, well kept and there is even a Starbucks coffee machine in the lounge area. Excellent all around.
A few days ago I purchased a brand new battery from the parts department… Everyone I dealt with was very professional & attentive to my vehicle needs!Stopped by this morning to get the inspection done on the same vehicle. Upon arrival to the service drive, I was greeted by a nice gentleman named Garrett. He was very courteous & knowledgeable! Had my vehicle done in a timely manner & even had it washed for me afterwards!This can only mean one thing… this is a 5-Star overall from parts, service and sales!Overall I Am VERY SATISFIED customer & will definitely continue to bring all of my vehicles to Gillman Acura North!
On April 21, 2021 I delivered my car to your body shop to fix my sunroof and some scratches on the roof of my 2013 Subaru Outback. I was told by one of the employees that it will take about a week and a half. I acknowledge that my insurance did take some of that time to get the used glass, but that has nothing to do with my concerns about the condition of the car when I came in to pick it up. After receiving a text today May 7, 2021 at 9:36 am which stated, Good morning! Getting everything put back together, then we will get it buffed and washed for you, and we should have it ready this afternoon. I will let you know as soon as it is ready! I responded, Okay, thank you!Meanwhile, I arrive at the shop around about 4 pm. What I discovered was very unfortunate and troublesome. My vehicle was keyed on the back passenger door and had other scratches on the exterior and bumper. In addition, I opened the door and my interior had dried rain stains on the sunroof interior. I was told by the young lady employee that she would put my car inside the garage before closing. This was not the worst thing that happened. My intelLigence was insulted by Tony Webb, basically accusing me of already having damage on my vehicle because it was a used vehicle. However, I have documented, dated and timed pictures data from my Iphone that proves this damage to my car was done by the body shop.Ethically I was not treated justly and given the same opportunity to present my data proof evidence of this careless incident. There has been a lack of ethical and moral communication and a lack of concern for solving this hurtful event. I was told that the employee lied and said she did not say she would put my car in the garage out of the rain. Where is the professionalism and work edicatcy in her not doing what she clearly stated to me that she would do after I asked for this to be done. She or the manager showed no sympathy and no ownership of their mistakes. Their attitudes towards this unprofessionalism was as if this happens all the time. I do not plan on using this body shop again. The only reason I left it today was I was afraid if I took it I would have to pay for the damages myself and I have never been placed in a disturbing situation such as this. Gillman Accura and Subaru need to work on managements customer service skills and communication with customers. For example I should have gotten a print out of everything that was done and a timed schedule that was accurate. My car should have never been left out in the rain for any circumstances involving a busted sunroof.Tell your employees to keep their word. When they say they will do something for the customer they need to do it and not wait until it comes back up again and lie about what they originally said.Worst service I’ve ever received from a dealership!!! (Bodyshop)Unacceptable !!!

Great service and attention since I walked in. I was immediately greeted and acknowledged. It took less than 2 minutes to drop off my vehicle and get going. Drive all the way down there to check out a 2019 Honda CR-V after confirming that it was available. Found out after reaching there that the vehicle was in their body shop for repairs and had been there since an accident a month ago. Would have been nice if they valued their customers time and confirm availability before booking a test drive. Avoid this place.

Been a loyal Gillman customer for some years now, but the experience at Acura has left me not wanting to give the Gillman Team any more of our business. Received a mixed welcome upon arriving on the lot. The first gentleman was very kind, but unfortunately could not tell me if the person I was looking for was still employed there (remember Im a loyal customer so went back looking for the very same team that worked with us in the past). The second man that approached us was extremely rude and walked away as I was still mid-sentence. I would have normally just walked away but given how extremely rude he was, I felt the need to report it. I walked inside and informed the receptionist about the incident and how I was simply asking if Ann still worked there, but I was told she was no longer with Acura. While there, a sales lady named Amber overheard what happened and she immediately came over to assist us. She apologized profusely and made us feel welcome. At this point I was no longer interested in even seeing the car we had gone to look at, but she was so kind, helpful and sincere - we decided to take the car for a test drive. My wife liked the car so we were ready to make an offer, but even though Amber was amazing and went above and beyond - once we were ready to negotiate the price of the unit, it went up from the advertised online price and the window sticker. We felt the team killed the deal for Amber. I followed up with Ray, but he never responded or even acknowledged me. That unit we were interested has still not sold by the way, it just keeps getting shuffled from one lot to another so its not on the books for too long I guess. I found other vehicles elsewhere, but I chose to go to Gillman because of our loyalty - just dont think Gillman appreciates that. We purchased our Subarus from Gillman. We get both our vehicles serviced at Subaru North because Tony Webb has the most amazing team, but after this experience - Im not very happy with the Gillman team as it didnt feel like a team at all. With the car shuffling from Mazda, to Acura, to Subaru now - just feels like dealer playing games with their inventory. Anyhow, Im just not happy with our Acura dealer experience - as my dealings with Subaru were totally different.
Working with Gillman Acura service is always a pleasant experience. Many dealerships boast that they have a “great” service department. I have found many of those same claims to be untrue. However; Ron with Gillman Acura service and their techs, they deliver!
Wait time for an oil change was minimal. I love the video they send you of your inspection, no high pressure sales on extra services! Way to go Gillman!!

I would like everyone to know if you are in search of an Acura you should stop and visit with Alex Zamora. He was my salesman and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. I stated to him what I was looking for and didnt want to waste a lot of my time. He picked out some vehicles that had the things I requested and went over them. After the purchase of my vehicle he introduced me to the service manger that informed of my service schedule and how to request service. Alex even went as far as sending YouTube training of the different features of my vehicle. Its been about three weeks now and he actually called last week to see how I was enjoying the vehicle and if I had any concerns or questions that he could assist me with. GREAT SALESMAN!!!
I was the first client to arrive which I think worked to my advantage. I appreciate the little things like the door being opened for me and the big things like hot coffee at 7 AM. I love the new feature of videos of your car after inspection with recommendations of repairs. Not that I know ANYTHING about cars, but was able to forward the video to my Dad who does. The service covered what I needed and the staff were helpful and courteous.The online scheduling tool for picking the appointment time and desired services made it easy to find a good time and to remember all the things I wanted checked. I particularly liked the video they made of what they saw under the hood and under the car when it was on the hoist, so I could understand the maintenance they were suggesting. All in all, a very good experience.
I have been using Gillman Accura service department for over five years and have never been disappointed. They always suggest needed service and leave it up to you to decide without any pressure.The last gentleman who helped me in servicing my MDX was Marshal and he was great. I am on my 3rd Acura from Gillman Acura. The service team is excellent & tries to help you and keep you informed about your vehicle. I drive an MDX and this is the second windshield that I have had to replace. This service center does all my tune-ups and I do not have any others work on my car. My vehicle has 140,000 miles and runs like a top.I recently drove to Michigan and was amazed at at how many Acuras were on the road.I would highly recommend the Gillman dealership and especially the service team and the repair center.
We checked car online listed for $18,888 and called about the availability. Went in the next day and checked the price online and it went up to $19,020. Drove 3 hrs to the dealership and arrived for my appointment. Took 30 minutes to get vehicle and it had several dents, paint peeling from the front and several deep scratches.Test drove it and it drive smooth. When we asked about the online price change they said the person inputting the price made a mistake. And they couldnt discount the price for the dents and scratches. They came back from the financing office and told us the new price is $20,088. Apparently the guy inputting the price made another mistake. At that point we walked away.

I wish I could even say I had a OKAY experience but sadly, I cant. I bought a used car just the other day and I was given the 3 day return policy. I obviously understand there is always a chance a used car wont be in the best condition and might have a SMALL issue here or there, but when Im promised that the car im buying is in great condition, I expect the vehicle to actually be in great condition and I was shocked to find out it was no where near okay condition. The man I was working with promised me that everything was looked over and diagnosed at the dealership, fixed, and was now in great working condition. Unfortunately, that wasnt the case. There were no visible codes on the cars dash but I work for an automotive mechanical shop and had them do a pre-buyers diagnostic on the vehicle. My technicians came back with a LIST of things that were not okay in the car, as in several leaks that tried to be cleaned up but not FIXED, it had codes that were erased from the vehicle but the issues are still present in the car, they tried covering up the issues that way. Also the hazards did not work, which is a huge safety issue and because those do not work, there is no way it would legally pass a State Inspection. They handed me a passed inspection paper from September 13th so I guess in the span of not even a month, the hazards just magically stopped working, or they just didnt do a thorough inspection, wouldnt be able to say on that part. When I spoke with the man who sold me this vehicle, he completely disregarded the IMPORTANT questions I had about the return policy as I was ready to return this car immediately. When I finally came up to the dealership to return the vehicle on my own, and after not hearing back any answers from anyone regarding this issue, the man I worked with was nowhere to be found even though he said he was there when I called before going. I waited 30 minutes (when they had no one in their lobby) for someone from a different department to just come grab the diagnostic paper and key. No one tried to find a solution for me in a different car, or try to work with me on fixing the vehicle to still keep it, The whole situation was honestly just handled unprofessionally and very poorly. It was a waste of my time to have to call up there several times, and text my salesman at least 3 times back to back, just to get a simple answer on when my 3 day return policy would end to return this car. Simple questions require simple answers and nobody could help me. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. STAY AWAY.

I bought an 09 Escalade from Gillman Acura for about $14,000 total, and less than a year goes before a MAJOR defect became evident. The hybrid battery on the car failed -- it was failing when I bought it actually, I was just unaware. This has rendered the vehicle an absolute loss. The cost to replace the battery is $8,000!Do you know what Gillman Acura told me? They said theyd like to help us out, by buying back the Escalade and selling us something else.Do you want to know what they offered me? A WHOPPING $100 for a car they sold me not a year earlier for $14,000. Thats right, one hundred dollars. Why did they even have this car for sale and not auction it off, since it is a known defect?Not one time did they mention the life of the hybrid had been exhausted -- nor did they include that fact in the buyers guide, like they were supposed to. When you finance a car, theyre obligated to tell you these things -- or just NOT sell the car -- because the bank doesnt want the buyers to default. Thats why I bought from a franchise dealership, I thought we could trust them. Now Im totally screwed!

I bought a car from here and financing it and was told I was going to get it the next day it not the same day and didn’t get it until 3 or 4 days later. And then they said the air was out so it will be longer they have to keep it or I can just bring it back and it will be done the same day. And that was also a lie as well it is taking them over 3 days to just change my ac compressor and oxygen sensor and keep changing the the date for when it will be done. They also know the only way for me to work is having my vehicle and they don’t offer a temporary vehicle or nothing.

I bought my car on 9/30. Prior to my purchase, I had been in the market for an Acura RDX for about 2 months. I had been in talks with a few dealerships in the Houston area, including Masum from Gillman Acura. I was coming from New Orleans area in Louisiana to make my purchase.Masum made the car buying process easy, simple, and hassle-free. I came in with a price in mind for my vehicle, and after a bit of back and forth, Masum met my price + TTL. When completing the deal, he asked one simple question, how are you paying for the vehicle, Cash or finance? Not only did he help me get a new car, he made the car buying process more enjoyable than my previous dealership experience. I will be more than happy to recommend Masum to anyone who asks, friends and family included! Gillman Acura will definitely be my first stop for my next Acura purchase as well! Masum and his team definitely made the drive from New Orleans area worthwhile at the end.Regarding the other dealership...I initially went to Sterling McCall Acura in Sugarland to purchase the car for an agreed upon price. It was the worst car-buying experience of my life. Not only did they renedge on an agreed upon deal, they gave me the gauntlet of all the cheap dealer tricks, like helping pay for the employees (as if they employees worked for free), sharing profit from the bank in exchange for not paying off the car loan for 5 months, a two payment lease deal that included interest payments, and ridiculous dealer added accessories. I made it clear from the beginning to the other dealership before arriving that I was only going to come for an agreed upon price + TTL, yet they wasted my time and their time and made me come 5 hours to go back on their word. They made it clear that they couldnt meet the agreed upon price because theyre a corporate dealership and have to answer to their share holders. I would never ever wish anyone to go to any Sterling McCall dealership for a vehicle purchase.

Gillman Acura has to be one of the worst dealers in Houston. They are pushy, not willing to negotiate and wouldnt honor the Costco price even though they are the Costco approved dealer. They put ridiculously priced add-ons on their cars and try to get $2,295.00 for Tint, wheel locks, Nitrogen, and vin etch. All of this garbage is less that $500.00 cost and you the buyer get screwed. This is a ZERO STAR dealer. This was my second try at giving them a chance and nothing has changed. Stay away form here and try the Acura Dealer an hour south, you will have a much better experience.

I have been a Gillman Acura customer since my last car broke down in 2015 and I bought a brand new RDX (2015). I can’t tell you how many times my vehicles of the past would break down, including one time where I was assaulted when my car broke down in the middle of the night on the freeway. That all ended when I got the RDX that came with Gillman’s platinum service plan. And what service it is!!! Never once has my RDX broken down, because Garrett (my service rep) makes sure I never miss a service target, plus the vehicle sends reminders for the type of service needed. And Let me tell you about the drive of this incredible vehicle. I. Love. My. RDX. It drives like a dream, owns the road like nobody’s business, and chews up mountains without a single cough. And it can fit 70” long IKEA flat packs, as a side bonus! The only regret is not getting the online service that automatically updates the map. I wish I had gotten it. But I am able to update it with a disc. We won’t need a new vehicle for long time because it is a beast (in the best sense of the term), but if we ever do need one I intend to upgrade to an MDX. Want to guess where we’ll go? 😉

I purchased a 2019 Acura RDX. I was there all day negotiating the price back down to what it was advertised for online. They tried to tack on $900 for a window tint warranty among other misc upcharges. My husband owns a glass shop so I know it costs about $20 per door to tint windows. Also, I made it very clear I did not intend to finance the car. I had enough to pay the advertised price in full. They apparently decided to check my credit anyway, so now theres a hard inquiry on my credit report which brought my score down.Overall Im happy with my car and the price I paid but I will not buy another vehicle from Gillman because they made it way harder than it had to be.
Ive dealt with other Acura dealers when getting my car serviced, but Gillman is the best all around - from the initial purchase, to the maintenance, the service and the trade-in! April and Miguel always roll out the red carpet for me. Thank you - Ill be back!

Bait and switch, complete waste of my time. I call yesterday (Friday) to confirm that they have a specific car in & ready to go. The person Im talking to checks on it and confirms that they do. I set up an appointment for today. I drive an hour to get there, check in, wait a half hour. The guy who my appointment was with no shows me, and another guy comes by to tell me the car I was looking at was already sold and totaled Wednesday, and the guy I was talking to just didnt know. I dont believe that for a second, and even if it were true, get your act together before setting appointments with potential buyers. I would never recommend Gillman Acura to anyone I like
Gillman Acura has an extraordinary service department. I drove up yesterday and was greeted at the door. My car was immediately taken to the garage. Rebecca did an outstanding job, explaining what was going on with the car etc. It is a top notch outfit.
We were driving from Central Texas to the coast when the moonroof shattered. Called and sp/w Marshall who was awesome. He informed us of the availability of a replacement and assisted us in having it shipped to a dealer in Austin. Additionally, he took the vehicle to the body-shop where they taped a cover over the hole, which allowed us to continue with our trip and celebrate our grandsons birthday. They saved the weekend. A Big Shout-out to Marshall and the team. Thank you very much.

I drove in from south side of Houston to come look at the use 02 Honda civic SI they have on the lot. Since the Carfax states it spent almost of its life in Illinois, I wanted to see what it looked like under the car. The sales guy told me I could lay on the ground and look at it that away... I asked if he could put it on the rack so I could take a better look that way. His manager said no and they could take pictures and a video that way. I know the car has some rust issues from the get go and wanted to see if it was still in ok shape. I even had cash in an envelope to pay for the car. I have never been told no that I cant look under a car before. I understand the liability and I would have signed a document stating if I get hurt I cant suit the dealership. I wonder what you guys are hiding. Shady shady. If you live in TX and the carfax says it from the snowy north, ask to look under car.
Still haven’t received registration and plates for a car purchased seven months ago. Title clerk won’t call me back. The car buying experience was a breeze but I can’t believe after six plus months I don’t have a license or sticker.
We bought VW atlas from them. First they sold is the car without license plate bracket. We called and and it took them 5 week to get it. Second,The biggest problem is the tiers, they were bad which is our fault. we should’ve check them before we bought the car. The real issue is that the tiers had lock on them. And Gilman said they gave it to us with the car which is they didn’t and on top of it they didn’t even try to help us. First time and last time buying from them.
On the weekend of Christmas and New Year’s I have went into Acura gillman to acquire about a 2014 Ford fusion after one day of having the car it had stop working on me and I had to bring the car back to the repair shop at the dealership but after waiting at least 2 to 3 weeks and even paying my first car payment the car was never returned to me and I had to inquire about another vehicle but also the second vehicle I had stopped working on me after the whole process again after one day very upset and very unhappy about the cars they have at their dealership. And now I am in a 2019 Nissan which will cost me over $25,000 for six years my apr is 18% which is crazy for, I had a terrible experience for a first time buyer me, because after going through January 1 to March was a very hard experience and difficult because I just wanted my 2,000 the 1700 for the downpayment and 299 for the first payment. I never was refunded for the first down payment I put on the 2014 Ford fusion. I will never understand why they did this but it was very unprofessional
Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My heart was set on buying a Cadillac xt5 but after doing some research and seeing the Acura MDX I loved it! The sales colleague (Asian cant remember his name) he was great to work with, when all the paperwork was signed they were detailing my car and I wasnt satisfied with the way they left it but Ian and Keith the manager were very apologetic about the situation. At the end Ian was so patient explaining to me all about the car, very knowledgeable guy and very profesional. My overall experience was excellent, even after my purchase I received two calls following up if all is good!I appreciate high customer service like this, I will definitely be coming back and refer friends and family. Amazing team. I own a Honda but decided to take my car to Acura after an accident in the rear based on a referral. Abby/Mike/Dan kept me informed with weekly updates. They handled everything. When I got the car back a month later, I had to bring it back for some minor touches that was missed during the initial fix. Due to Covid-19, everything was delayed. Since my insurance policy only allowed for 30 days in a rental, I only had 1 day left on the policy. Abby connected me with a loaner car directly through Acura right away and we did not even go through insurance. I had the loaner for almost 2 weeks. Worry-free. The amazing customer service that Mike and team provide are top notch. Even if you don’t own an Acura, they service all kinds of cars and use dealership quality parts. I had a really complicated situation and I never felt left in the dark, the team just handled it. Highly recommend this place to everyone, you actually get to talk to someone when you call. After 1.5 months in the shop, it felt like talking to family. Recommend with no reservations!

I have personally bought 4 vehicles from them (1 new and 3 used) and every time they always seem to make the deal go through in the best interest of the customer. I want to give a shoutout to Jerrell Bradley who was outstanding and have lots of knowledge about vehicle, If you buy a car from this dealership, I recommend you talk to him. He was outstanding as well as the rest of the staff. These guy were super helpful and very forthcoming. Trust me, I live in Southwest Houston and drove all the way north to get the vehicle. (Really appreciated for outstanding deal)
