Amazing selection of tea, though we only popped in once so we didnt get to try many. Vegan cheesecakes were gluten free and very yummy. The blooming tea was unique and delicious. We stopped in 2 minutes before close and the staff was still very friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere inside. Well worth the walk down to the end of the main road. Our favorite coffee/tea stop of our trip.
Great spot for vegan options in Hot Springs. They have milk alternatives and the chai tea was fantastic. We got a special which was vegan biscuits and gravy which I wouldnt recommend. The biscuits were hard and there wasnt much gravy. But they had plenty of other vegan options on the menu and another special that looked delicious.
This place was good, but I have definitely been to better places. The coffee was good, but the service was not the best, I think we stood at the cash register for 5 min with a guy standing right next to it did not even address us. However if you are looking for a place to get coffee that is local and central this is a good one.
Amz and Ryan are awesome! Everything we had was delicious! We will definitely return next time we visit Hot Springs 🤟
Loved the food here. Nice ambience. Enjoyed our breakfast Flatbread so much we returned to get sandwiches for lunch which were very good. Loved the vegan burger. Did not like the request for tipping system on the IPad, it felt obligatory and they insisted on you answering the options before paying. We always leave tips but this felt invasive.
I ordered a Mayan Mocha which is one of their season flavors. It was so rich and had an authentic just what I was looking for in a mocha. It had a smidge of spice in the back of each sip which is exactly what I needed to remind myself today while drinking this, just sip instead of chug. Very happy and will be coming back before I leave.
Ordered the Huevos Ranchero, and it was excellent, with really nice plating/presentation of the food.Wife ordered the Iced Vanilla Latte and chocolate chip scone, and both were excellent. They had sustainable plates/straws, so if youre in to environmental friendliness, this is your place. I recommend trying this place out if youre in town.
They serve Onyx Coffee Lab roasts here. Thats really all anyone needs to know about the coffee. Much of the food is fantastic, too.
If you arrived at Kollective Coffee & Tea later in the evening & the lights were turned way down low, youd swear that youd arrived at a cozy neighborhood bar waiting for the next live music set to play. But if you do the exact same thing on a Wednesday evening, youd have a taste of Americas Oldest Weekly Poetry Reading. (At least thats what the posted sign read).Kollective Coffee & Tea features award winning coffee, espresso, teas & a fine assortment of pastries, salads & sandwiches. The coffees rich & bold, but the baristas attitude was even bolder the afternoon that I dropped in.Beware: This is one funky little coffee shop!
Gem of a coffee shop in Hot springs! They use Onyx coffee beans and made my oat milk latte perfectly. Genuinely friendly staff, definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Hot Springs.
Nice atmosphere. Seems like the local hangout for the younger crowd, but the service keeps up with the traffic and the coffees are great. Worth a stop in while youre walking up and down the main drive.
We went to the royal Arkansas for a boat weekend. We brought our own food because we’re vegan not thinking there would be any vegan options around. But to our surprise we found this cafe and their vegan options were amazing. Great service and great food, so good that we came back the next day.
Stopped by for the first time after exploring Hot Springs and was recommended their Mocha Latte by one of the baristas. It was one of the freshest and best tasting brews I’ve ever had! Definitely a quality cup of coffee with excellent staff. I’m already looking forward to the next time I’m in Hot Springs to stop by, again.
We came here daily on our recent week-long trip to Hot Springs. Try the mocha latte with oat milk, no added sugar, not even in the chocolate! We had the Huevos rancheros, blissful balance, different bagels and toppings, cookies, Mayan coffee, all were delicious. The halo tea was impressive. If you want to sub an ingredient, they will gladly do it for you. Would recommend as a less busy alternative to the other breakfast places in town.
Very friendly staff and one of the best cortados Ive ever had. Enough to buy some of their whole bean.
Chill atmosphere, friendly staff, yummy coffees, and excellent food! Vegan frijoles rancheros or balanced bliss are my two faves.
Hooked after the first try! This place is phenomenal. I ordered the Coconut Lavender Mocha and a toasted bagel with a fried egg. The mocha was smooth, flavorful and brewed to perfection. My wife ordered the white peach tea, and a carrot muffin with a cream cheese/molasses icing from heaven. 🙌🏾Everyone on the staff was super polite and made us feel VERY welcomed. There was great artwork on the walls that was for sale as well. Any place that supports the arts is a winner in my book.
Coffee and tea shop with some nice flavor offerings. Prices are similar to Starbucks, but maybe a little lower. Environment was relaxed and friendly as with most crunchy places like this. Has a variety of food and snacks as well
Loved the ambience of this location. Got some masala chai with a vegan burger and huevos rancheros. Its a modern take on the humble Mexican staple and while it tasted good its far from what I was expecting. The masala chai was a flavorful but not very strong. The burger had the option of a side for $2 extra and I went with the soup of the day which was a tomato bisque. Didnt really taste like a bisque and was far too sour but kind of went well with the burger.
Delicious food and teas! Great atmosphere and staff! Really enjoyed it! Freshest food weve had all week! 👍❤
Highly recommend ate there twice it was so good went back the next day.
Like stated “THEY DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE US OR WAITED ON US” !!! We are of the AFRICAN DESCENT!!! It was OFFENSIVE HOW YOUR ESTABLISHMENT TREATED US PERIOD!!!! OFFENSIVE THAT!!!!DO NOT GO HERE IF MINORITY!!! Stop for coffee & tea… We walked in - no one spoke or even acknowledge husband or I. There was one patron eating and staring at us as if we stepped in a time worp of walking in the wrong place from back in the 50s. The owner/worker kept sweeping as if we weren’t there. We stood at the counter over “5mins” NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT!!! NO WELCOME CAN I HELP YOU! We figured let’s try a new spot out because we’re FREQUENT visitors to Hot Springs, Ark every year. This was our first return back to town since COVID restrictions. UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. Sad sad you still have businesses that operate this way in “2021” …guess stilll!!!—****WARNING FOR THOSE OF COLOR WHO DECIDE TO VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!
I had a wonderful lunch in this cafe! I got the Detox Salad, an iced 1896 tea (an excellent recommendation from the barista), and a vegan raspberry cheesecake. Everything was delicious and served quickly.
Very welcoming atmosphere with cozy seating arrangements. The teas and scones were delectable.
Went to the more traditional breakfast places first, but didn’t want to wait an hour for a table. Then we found this place! It was way faster, and way healthier!! Thanks for a great breakfast and a great latte!! 6/5 stars ☺️
Tasty nitro cold brew and friendly/helpful staff in a clean space.
NEEDS an “open” sign. Great coffee but hard to tell if it’s open. Three people walked by while we had our coffee outside and each of them asked “are they open?” My husband disliked the scones but the cookies were descent and latte was good. Staff could be friendlier- they seemed cranky working on the 4th.
Serving up piping hot poetry again, live and in person every Wednesday night from 630 to 900 ! The large Carmel Latte with extra espresso shot and blueberry scone really hit the spot too
I thought the food was great, I enjoyed it very much, I dont know if I could recommend their coffee though. It just wasnt my preference I guess.
First of all, the salad here was the worst thing I’ve ever tried. They wrecked the vegan vibe. My salad had dark greens, with a single tomato, and covered in hard quinoa. There was so many sprouts, it looked like something a bunny rabbit puked up. Then for the looks they added a raw egg, dripping off the sides. What a useless waste of a harmless chicken. Rip Jennifer. I almost puked. Being dairy-free, I was extremely disappointed with the options they had. Lastly, their customer service was soo bad, I had to go on antidepressants. Not that I normally do that, I’m vegan for heaven’s sake!!
Everything we tried was delicious. They make a yummy non-dairy mocha.
My spouse and I found some difficulty finding a place to eat that was vegetarian and had gluten free options for her (she has Celiacs). Kollective was the gem that had both...and delicious lattes! The food was great and filling. The rad AMAB barista with the 2tone hair was super nice and even took the time to talk a little ska with me. Great experience! Definitely check them out if you are in hot springs.
I went for breakfast and they brought out the wrong order, when I told them the man just left in a rant and slammed the food down. Food was good but I don’t think I have ever had a more immature experience.
The Barista was very rude. The tone of voice was not necessary and there are more polite ways to say youre closed.
This place has a great location and atmosphere. Its better than most other similar hipster coffee shops. They have a wide selection of coffees and teas. We felt the prices were above average, and the flavour of the coffee to be a bit bland.
Ive been downtown literally over a hundred times and theres no better place than here to study for a few hours! I only get teas and snacks but those have always been great. Nice atmosphere, but some things are a little overpriced.
Wow! Fantastic coffee (Arkansas roasted Onyx) and excellent, healthful food plus great service and good tunes. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and everything I had. Wish Id going there when I visited HS this summer but I bet its insanely busy then so maybe this was better. Highly recommended
Great coffee. great selection of organic foods. Bagels were fresh. Long line for brunch place, I was expecting the long line due to it is in the tourist area.
Super cute place, lots of great vegan options. I got the vegan burger and my fiancée or he hue is rancheros, the corridor was delicious! They played great music too and everyone was super friendly. You could tell the chef genuinely liked his job too, he was singing along while he cooked. Very great coffee shop! Don’t leave without stopping here!!!!
Great organic coffee and tea. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice break after a long morning.
This place is awesome! They roast their own coffee, make their treats and are great folks. You can sit on the veranda and drink your coffee or tea and nibble on tasty treats. You can browse the gift shop while they make your cuppa. Or sit on the veranda and watch the world go by. Stop in and say Hi. They are on Park Ave. in Hot Springs Ark
This is a must if your in hot springs. Great selection of teas and coffee with a knowledgeable staff that is happy to help. The panni are good as well
Decent coffee. Nice place to chill. Great location
I dont leave reviews often, but after my experience at Kollective, I have to. I had a GREAT lunch today. I ordered a special—the vegan biscuit and gravy—and it was phenomenal. Its great for vegetarians like me, and meat-eaters too. But it wasnt just the food that was wonderful—it was the whole experience. The space was really nice, super spacious and well-decorated, and the people were really kind. The employee who helped me was Josh, and he made eating there a 10/10 experience. If Im ever back in Hot Springs, Id definitely return again and again to try everything on their exciting menu!
The bagels were really delicious. The Chai latte I got was a bit watered down. Its a cool little place for people who want gluten free and vegan options.
Cute coffee shop right in town. Has great drink options, good service, and the food is amazing!!! Also they have WiFi.
Its cute and the atmosphere is great but in terms of coffee, it was a bit of a lack luster. My partner got an American I got a dirty chai tea latte, he got the breakfast burrito (but it should be called a wrap) and I got a bagel with egg but they forgot the egg (we didnt bother to go back) all in all I can see why people go but it wasnt for us. They seem very health focused and have a lot of vegan options non the less
Awesome coffee. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Easy street parking. Vegan dish I got was absolutely delicious.
In love with this store! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
Such a neat place! Any coffee lover will appreciate the coffee selection and craft. I actually ordered 2 drinks because I couldnt choose. I opted for a Cortado and a Campfire Iced Coffee. I also ordered a build your own bagel. Loved the ability to choose your cheese and not just cheddar or american! I got brie! It was fantastic! Highly recommend a stop in on your Hot springs visit.
The service was great even with it being pretty busy. I had a vanilla latte with almond milk and a vegan cheesecake. They were both great.
Nice employee but drinks not great, watered down coffee, weak matcha drink not to diluted, to week for the prices.Disappointed, since we are from Ftworth, Tx.
Very cute coffee shop. Tons of unique options for food and drinks! I would come back 👍
We come here every time we go through Hot Springs. Their coffee is excellent, their espresso is amazing, and they always have a delicious vegan option. This time they had a keto vegan burger salad that was one of the best things I’ve ever had. I wish I had gotten a picture but it was beyond my wildest dreams.
We had a bagel sandwich, hot tea, mocha, and the breakfast bowl of goodness. Everything was delicious, hot/cold and fresh.
A little slow, but that was most likely because they were busy. Food and service was spot on!
Their customer service was pretty bad...the food wasnt that great. At least they had sun chips 😂 about the only thing I enjoyed!
This is a trendy little joint with great background music, table or sofa seating, and window bar areas to sit and watch the passers-by. Fair prices on things you wont get just anywhere. Be adventurous, pick a tea and try it. The cranberry walnut cookies are awesome.
I don’t do bagels based on past experience. But the everything bagel with the turkey, cheese and egg were poppin. That’s not what I had though. My wife shared hers and I love her for it. I didn’t get the bagel because I don’t eat bagels. But I’m now a convert and will try bagels at other places. Thanks, Kollective, for the good experience. I had the Biwk of Goodness. And I’ll have it again. The yogurt and fruit mix was delightful and I love the crunchies. Top notch. They were playing space-like music. Very inter-galactic sounding. I kept bobbing my head and wish everyone in the long line did also. The door said to wear masks. But surprisingly about 95% of people were not. Most of the workers were if you’re concerned about that kind of thing. Thanks. Enjoy.
I LOVED! This restaurant, they were nice and helpful people working here. And here a tip if you get the hot chocolate plus a chocolate chip scone. Put then together and you get the best mixture, EVER!
The drinks were pricey but very creative with their blends/flavor combinations. The workers were helpful in helping you buying coffee. The coffee shop also has a cute indoor decor for people to take pictures. I got pour-over coffee; it was smooth and slightly acidic (I really like bitter coffee though). The vanilla latte has a weird aftertaste, but overall, the experience was great. I would come back to try their food and other drinks.
Delicious coffee and a spacious cafe located on Bathhouse Row in Downtown Hot Springs. The shop is built right up against a mountain and the back wall is glass to allow for a unique view of the roxk face.
We enjoyed our breakfast. My husband particularly liked the huevos rancheros and began telling others in our group about the dish. The music was rather loud, which was distracting. I suspect that we are not the only customers who would like to hear each other speaking.
Their Turkey & Gouda sandwich is the best Ive ever had!
Worth the wait. We had a great latte and the sandwiches were savory.
This place is great! Has a laid back atmosphere that just makes it so inviting! The coffee and food are wonderful as well. The service never lets us down and my husband and I absolutely love it! A must try if you are here!
Good cappuccino after a morning run. It was quite this morning. Had a walnut muffin that was great. I ordered a cappuccino but with an extra expresso shot. With that extra shot the flavor seemed about right for me. Without it I feel it would have been a little weak. But thats my personal opinion and taste. But it was great tasting flavor to the coffee. Host was nice also. Ill visit again when back in town for sure.
Really great food, my dad really enjoyed the mayonnaise!
