They have a young lady back here by name of breeze everybody calls a rainbow breed she is very good at what she does in the salon and her friend Renee is just as good

This is a nice location with a good selection. It was easy to check out, too. Having a Sephora inside is a plus.

I guess it’s illegal to shop in peace, be prepared to be followed but the workers the whole time you shop.

The JCPenney at Uptown Mall in Hot Springs, AR was a sad disappointment. I was there for about 45 mins and not greeted by one Sales Associate. Clearance items were priced higher than similar items on a regular sale. But, the thing that made me give my first one star review on Google is the fitting room. When I walked into the ladies fitting room I was hit in the face with the smell of urine. I was so disgusted that I turned around, walked out, put my items on the first table I saw, and left.

Not what it once was. Seems bare and struggling, sad to see...

JC Penny was having a store closing sale and had many great sales on the day we went. They had a great selection and terrific prices.

In and out. I found exactly what I was looking for but the store was like a ghost town. The mall is open but very empty.

Got some earings here on sale on Valentines Day and the lady behind the counter was patient in checking sales prices. I ended up getting such a good deal under my budget I was able to get 2 pair instead of 1!

Not much in the store anymore. Clothes are mostly gone.

Got a great present for my sisters birthday (super cheap great sale)Salon was great to me also. Good to know there are still nice people out there.

It was okay. They are being taken over so, supply of some things are not there

Decent prices. But, like so many larger retailers there are very few warm bodies to assist with any questions on the floor. Dont be surprised by long waits in line where there is one, maybe two employees to check you out. I understand that online competition is hard...but it is frustrating for those that like to look at touch before they buy.

I dont like having a sale person checking me out with a mask below her nose. I asked for her mask to cover her nose and she covered only to have it fall back down. NOT happy about it.

Wonderful Jcpenney store. This store is always clean and staff are wonderful! I love the employees specifically for the jewelry department. I NEVER EVER feel pressured to purchase anything. Im always offered (but never pressured to buy) the protection plans, which I have discovered are just AMAZING AND WORTH EVERY PENNY! On one $25 protection plan I have had a ring resized twice (due to changes in my needs) AND repaired. Amazing customer service and I always leave feeling I have received complete and accurate information regarding g my jewelry purchases.I dont frequent the clothing departments as much as I used to, but when I do, I am always promptly assisted and never pressured. I feel like in many of the Jcpenney stores employees work for comission. However at this store, they either dont work for comission or they just dont let it affect the way that they treat their customers!!! By far one of my favorite stores in Hot Springs! Definitely my FAVORITE JCPenney location.

Evidently to shop here on a Sunday you cannot walk through the Mall. The entrance to the store via the Mall is locked at noon and you have to go outside and walk around to get into the store. Not only that but the stores associates watch you and instead of being polite and not wanting to lose your business by opening the door, the watch you and yell for you to walk outside the Mall in the rain to enter instead of opening the door. Dillards from now on it is. Ill pay higher prices for decent customer service.

Recently shopped for back to school items just so happens they were having a sale during the back to school event! Crazy I know! Anyhow I got a super cute pair of converse I didnt see in any other store, many tops that my kids just had to have with all their favorite characters not to mention watches and backpacks to match their shirts. Needless to say I was winning coolest mom real fast! Highly suggest stopping in next time your shopping for a group!

They have the best sales.

They had some really great discounts, but the staff wasnt very friendly. The Cashier was to busy talking to co workers and looking around while checking me out. Didnt give me my recipe or say anything after she baged my items. I was the one saying thank you, have a nice day...smh

Selection was good... Prices were good but I was in the store for over an hour looking for pants and never even got a hello or may I help you. No customer service anymore here or anywhere for that matter

My son and I went in today for clothes for a dance that we had an hour to prepare for.... the sales lady was very helpful. She even offered and did measured my son for a shirt fitting. Thanks!

Sorry JC Penney, I think you missed the boat to modern clothing. Sort of reminded me of Kmart. Its a slow declining death to bankruptcy. BTW, the mall was creepy.

Good advice very helpful and polite with costumers. Very patient and willing to help with each customers needs and situate to their requests of what they require to purchase exactly what they need.

Prices are good just not a big enough selection of plus sizes.

Customer service is almost non existence. There are cashiers if you are fortunate enough to locate one. The CEO wonders why pennys is losing business. CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Wonderful Service Great selection and good sales! My only complaint is it was way too hot in there but this nice sweet lady at the checkout counter gave me her scrunchie so I could put my hair up because my hair was soaking wet with sweat. The same wonderful customer service representative also helped me to open a charge account so I can get a discount on my purchase so after my large purchase I went shoe shopping for my children! I cant come in and the lady who helped me enough, great service!!!

Always shop clearance and sales here, and prices are ok. I really like the clearance racks by the shoe section, thats where the best deals are. Dressing rooms are usually a disaster though, clothes are thrown everywhere and more often than not theres trash all on the floor.

I like the store because its easy to gain access from the main road. There is plenty of parking and they were having a great 4 day only sale.

Went to Sephora the sales associate was very friendly.. Then went to check out n jcpennys the woman wasnt very friendly.Didnt even offer to sign me up for rewards program to get points..but did to customer after me..

I have applied for position ( opened up 3 times this year) and have never got a response from store once for any application. I have extensive back ground in retail including working for JCP for years. Not sure how you interview but very disappointed in being screened as seems.

12.20.2019 - 7:35 PM. Thought I would make a quick stop for some NYs attire. Very unwelcoming atmosphere. Cashier in the mens department didnt bother to help me either. Definitely was being watched (Is this the 60s?), but no one asked me if I needed any help. As I walked out at 7:46PM another employee came (out of no where lol) right behind me and locked the store doors lol. I might be loling, but its really a pathetic matter.

Disappointing, the store must be closing. Very little to pick to from.

Eventhough this store is over 100 years old, the quality of the merchandise remains the same: very good.

This store is ok. Some of the employees aren’t the friendliest and barley make eye contact with you when you purchase something. And for the love of god...can you get something other than skinny jeans or skinny ripped jeans in your store? Not everyone wants or looks good in skinny jeans. That’s all anyone sells anymore. I was hoping Penney’s had clothes for adults. I really don’t see a lot of adults wearing jeans that are crammed up their buttocks and suffocating their legs. Let the 80s wardrobe die.

I really only come here to get my bare minerals foundation. But sometimes you can find some great clearance deals here.

Oh the many deals at JCP. Too many. I really clean up here. Their credit card will pay you to shop with their $10 off $10 or more. Thats a free $10. Reward points will pay you to shop more. Their coupons are ridiculous. Sometimes the store is messy but only because shoppers cant seem to be more respectful to the workers. I can unfold and fold my clothing back. Reward points are increased when you have their credit card but I dont know the details. I can pay my credit card right there using debit. Getting the credit card is the gateway to getting insane coupons mailed to you. Furthermore, I have not noticed any increase in junk mail after getting their card and registering a reward card. I do not believe JCP sells your data to others. I say this after having the credit card and reward card for over four years.Overall, a great store to add to your clothing collection. Towels and bedding are excellent too! In love my $5 pillows!

Havent been to JC Penneys in a while and I was pleasantly surprised at the selection and prices. We were able to purchase a suit at an affordable price and it looks great!
