Brought in a semi-old Martin which needed a setup, ended up with a super-easy player with the ideal action, far exceeded my expectation. Now I know where to bring any of my guitars when Im in town. Very blessed to have found him.

Came in to fix my guitar which needed simple repairs and he helped fix it right away. I told him that I was just starting to play and he gave me a lot of pointers and taught me how to change out strings. He also offered to help make my guitar a little more comfortable (Make strings lower, and make them more towards the bottom of the neck) and gave me a good price since I traded in 3 pairs of electric guitar strings which I didn’t need. Very nice and excellent craftsmanship! Would definitely come back again!

A bass player friend recommended Anthonys Guitars when I needed to get frets leveled on a favorite, overplayed Strat. Anthony did a great job. He obviously takes care and pride in his workmanship. The guitar now plays and sounds terrific. My only quibble would be that it took a little longer than expected, but that is probably why the guitar plays so well now. Worth it? Yes.

Anthony is an extraordinary luthier --his attention to detail is second to none. I bought a 30+ year old Ovation that had some major issues (cosmetically & structurally), I picked it up the other day from Anthony and now it sings so beautifully. I took 2 acoustic guitars to Mr Anthony on July 14th 2021 to have setup he went out of his way to find everything possible that needed to be done to make the action great he was so far behind that he told me to pay a deposit and when he got caught up in a few weeks he would call me to bring in my guitars so I paid him 45$ after 2 weeks I called him he was still behind he claims. Now almost 2 months later he still hasnt got in touch with me I wouldnt recommend leaving my guitar with him he ripped me off and I have the receipt to prove it

Edit: just had Anthony restore a 1950s Gibson ES, and it turned out great. We ordered any replacement parts together and all costs for services and parts were clearly communicated. More importantly the quality of the work was great and he took the utmost care of a precious guitar to me and my family. Highly recommend.Great experience having two guitars set up by Anthony. He has meticulous attention to detail and treats his work as art as much as it is a science. You can really tell he loves what he does and has been doing it a long time. Fret work, nut creation, intonation all done to perfection, and even a quick guitar lesson. Super reasonable pricing for quality work and friendly and straightforward service. Will be taking one of my vintage guitars to him for restoration soon.

My dad and I brought our Ibanez Concord to have the bridge and nut adjusted, and for general detailing work. After a few weeks of playing the guitar, I can say that I am very satisfied with Anthonys work. If you are looking for old-school quality workmanship from a master artisan who clearly loves his craft, then I recommend giving Anthony a try. Went down to Anthony to get the action lowered on my Martin X Series acoustic. Brought it in and he looked at it, worked on it, and more. He didn’t just lower the action for it to feel comfortable; he rounded out the fret ends, restrung it with some new strings, sanded down my bridge saddle, filed the nut slots, the works! Not to mention he did it right then and there, and I even got to watch him do his magic. I learned some valuable information on guitar work myself, showed me how he strings up guitars, so I’ll be trying out that technique myself. I came in looking to just get my action worked on, left with more than I asked for, needless to say, a happy customer. And for a reasonable price too! Anthony is a great guitar luthier, dedicated to his craft with a an attention to detail. Got it worked on 3 days ago, and I can’t stop playing it! My guitar feels SO different from before! I LOVE IT!

Anthonys been my Guitar Tech for like 20 years. One time he fixed an almost broken in half guitar neck on my Jackson Randy Rhoads Custom that I bought with my first Navy re-enlistment bonus, nobody else would even touch it. For years it sat in a guitar stand just looking good from the front but when I could play it again, my eyes got watery or something!

I had a bad crack on my guitar and was referred to Anthony. He fixed it up perfectly, but he totally went the extra mile for me. He noticed that it was set up in a way that was really hard for someone of my skill, and he made adjustments that have allowed me to (not kidding - overnight) master the F chord that was causing me so much trouble. He also cleaned is up real nice. I never take the time to review any business unless Im blown away. Anthony was friendly, fun to talk to, and clearly passionate about what he does. Very friendly and outstanding quality. My wife and I bought two guitars that had some factory imperfections. First class workmanship and a great knowledge of instruments. Unlike a few luthiers that Ive met, Anthony will always take the time to talk options with you until you feel comfortable. Hell even talk story with you if he has time.

I brought two guitars in to get some much needed TLC. First is a Mexican made strat which had never been modified or adjusted properly. He filed and prepped the frets, installed my new pickup and redid the action and intonation. The guitar plays and feels so much better. Second is a 1998 Seagull artist series flame maple cutaway. The sound was always nice, but seemed to be getting mushy over the years. My tuner knobs were cracking and falling off, and I couldnt get new ones from Canada. He had a set of tuners and replaced mine. Installed a bone nut and saddle that he custom made from scratch. Filed and madethe frets feel awesome. The action was lowered to the proper location and the feel and play is like a different guitar. Be patient. It takes time to do good work. Thank you Anthony!

Anthony Dallago, of Anthonys Guitars is amazing. His workmanship is genius as he has modified many factory settings to make my guitars better than in their original state. His work ethic is outstanding. Many times, Ive brought my guitars to him (I have a collection of over 20 guitars and Anthony has worked on almost all of them) for one specific job, but he would do other things, at no charge because they needed to be done. When asked for ideas for modifications, I completely trust his judgement, but he also listens to my ideas and incorporates them. Anthony has a huge following of faithful customers, and he will be my guitar tech for as long as I live in Hawaii... if you have guitars, Ukeleles, basses, whatever, that need work, bring them to Anthony. You wont be disappointed.
