Randy took very good care of me. He was able to help me replace an exhaust on a Hyundai that was much cheaper than brand new OEM part. I will bring my cars here anytime I need exhaust work for my car

Had my catalytic converters stolen from our dump truck. I called EHS and went down a few hours later. They took about an hour and I they charged me a lot less than a few other quotes I got. SOLID work! Their customer service was great!

I called on a whim to have my resonators removed and he told me that I can come right over and he would get it done for me. Sure enough, I showed up and he directed me right onto the lift and got to work. Outstanding, would recommend.

I went in to have long tube headers installed on my car. Usually this kind of install would be a fun Saturday project but with lack of tools and space I decided it would be best to have a shop do it. I was told it would take 3.5 hours to install, maybe a little longer or maybe even a little less than said time. It ended up taking 8 hours to do the full install. Time was not the issue here, but when you charge $140 an hour for labor, 3.5 hours vs 8 hours is a huge difference price wise. Okay so moving forward, I pick the car up, immediately I notice something was off. It was idling weird so I thought maybe the computer just needed to re learn the car since a modification was just installed. As I drove home the car began to misfire and “bog” as I tried to accelerate. With that being said I immediately knew it had to be a firing issue on the spark plugs or wires which led me to believe that they didn’t remove the spark plugs before the install. (Always remove spark plugs before header install so you don’t crack them, creating a misfire after the install is done). I called exhaust systems Hawai’i and asked if they removed the spark plugs before install, he said they did not. I spent the next hour or so replacing spark plugs and wires. The number 2 cylinder spark plug was indeed cracked and needed to be replaced. My advice would be to run the car and make sure you don’t miss anything before releasing it to the customer for pickup. Double the amount of time and money they said it would be to install and an additional $200 AFTER to me it just wasn’t worth it. I will be renting a lift and doing my own installs from now on. Thanks.

Absolutely blown away by the awesome service that I received here. After a horrible experience at the dealer who price gouged repair costs along with a 2 week wait period (part had to be ordered from the mainland), I had my truck towed to Exhaust System Hawaii who was nearly 5 times cheaper than the dealer and had my truck fixed in 2 hours! They warranty their work and did an awesome job. Would absolutely recommend to others.

Those guys hooked us up, my Friends moped exhaust pipe broke completely but they welded it back together with no problem, I trusted these guys cause I been here before to have my Nissan 4x4 exhaust worked on, so I knew where and who to trust, plus when I was doing a food bank donation, these guys gave from the heart, not thinking only about them selves but thinking of others that just needed some help, food, Ill never forget this place for lending a hand to the less fortunate, buisnesses like this make it! It just shows me that their not only out to make money for them selves but by donating a little to a good cause shows me they care about people, and their customers in a real way.So now you know how this place would be a very great and trusting place to have your vehicle worked on. God bless these guys, and I know theyll grow, dont tell, Im the gifted son.

My tail pipe on my 2015 roush mustang broke off while driving, I called Ford and of course they cant see me right away, I went to ESH and they looked at my exhaust. They attached my pipe and fixed it within a couple of hours. I needed immediate service and they provided with great Customer service, the guy who helped me was Randy. Thanks again.

I was very impressed with the exceptional service that Randy and Phil provided. Walked in not knowing what was wrong with my car but they put my car up on the rack and showed me exactly what was wrong and explained how it could be fixed. 45 minutes later my car was off the rack and I was on my way. Thank you for all your help!

Pros: great customer service, good work, very friendly shop.Cons: I was quoted $180 to change a downpipe ( I already bought the downpipe online ) but when it was done I was charged $500, they changed it from $180 to charging me $140 an hour. It took them 3.5 hours. At the end of the day they did a good job installing a bolt on kit. I brought 3 of my cars to Exhaust systems. But only now did I feel like I was overcharged. all I can is if you quote something and its done stick to your quote price...... just my review/ my experience

Visited the shop on 11/7/18 to get custom exhaust work done. I had recently purchased a newer used car that the previous owner had custom exhaust on. The catalytic converter was removed, the original exhaust manifold was removed and replaced with equal length headers, straight piped with no mufflers out to the exhaust tips. In short, the car was loud AF and between 2500-3200 RPMs the car sounded like a riced out Honda Fart Can (No disrespect to Honda owners, as I love a nice TUNED Honda, just not the riced out ones...); making the car sound like it was going 100 mph when in reality it was only going 20-25 mph.Did some research, and ordered 2 hybrid resonators/mufflers.The same day that the parts came in I called Exhaust Systems Hawaii to schedule an appointment, but the boss Randy just told me to come in and they could get it done. Now this was less than 2 hours from their closing time yet they were wiling to do the job... excellent !!I was allowed to observe the work being done for the entire process.. I had them cut out a length of tubing and weld in the Vibrant Ultra Quiets in series. After welding was complete and the exhaust was bolted back on, I noticed that where the mid pipe connected to the muffler/exhaust tips (not even a muffler, just a small hollow barrel in my case LOL) via flange and bolts, it was off by about 1/4 -1/2 inch. So I pointed this out to one of the workers (Devin I believe? or TJ? one of the two..) and they corrected it with no fuss at all. A+ for customer service. The job was professionally done in a little less than 1.5 hours. The cost of labor may seem high to some and was a little more than the cost I paid for in parts ( I purchased the parts myself online), but It was definitely worth it for the job that was done. Personally, I give the welds an 8/10 (Ive been around people who weld and Ive had a teacher show me how perfect weld beading looks like so I know a thing or two [although I am poor at welding my self], and this is under the car so it does not need to look pretty anyway. However, the boss Randy told me that ALL welds that the shop does, comes with a LIFETIME warranty. Not the parts, just the welds. So if a weld happens to crack or fail later down the line you are covered (Id recommend keeping your receipt just in case). A+ for service, and 5/5 for any company that stands behind their quality work enough to confidently give a lifetime warranty. After all work was completed, I started up the car and immediately noticed the car was about 20-30% quieter. Furthermore, I revved her up a little more and the rice fart can sound had completely vanished !! I was satisfied. I would like to thank Randy, Devin, and TJ for the excellent job done and for even better customer service. I would gives these guys tips but sadly I am a poor college student who barely gets by with rent.... Nonetheless, these guys are awesome and I would recommend them to anybody who wants mild fabrication done to their cars exhaust.I waited a good amount of time before writing this review as I wanted to test the new exhaust. (My car was tuned by previous owner prior to this job, so I wanted to make sure the custom exhaust was not impeding airflow). There were no engine light errors or spikes in airflow as shown by my tuner diagnostics. I drove the car in a variety of ways : city driving to and from school/work, on the highways, to the Pali, and on the whole Tantalus Drive (both ways multiple times ) and was happy with the exhaust tone. Downshifts now sound nice and not like Im wide open throttle at only 3500 rpm. Nice deep boxer rumble, loud but not too loud, cold-start doesnt sound like a Vietnam Chopper anymore and more importantly that ricer Fart Can exhaust sound from 2500-3200 RPMs completely vanished. Car is about 20-30% softer than before but all the high pitch noises are gone and so the car sounds softer overall and no longer harsh on the ears for a straight piped car.Fitment : 5/5Welds : 8/10Price : 4/5Overall Work Quality : 5/5Customer Service: 5+/5

They destroyed my O2 sensor during install of custom work. Wanted me to pay for replacement. Manager talked to me like I was ignorant and argued with me for an hour why the smashed sensor wasn’t the reason I had a check engine light. He refused to listen but honestly I think he just didn’t want to pay for the mangled O2 sensor. One Employee apologized later and agreed with me that it was the reason for he problem as I was leaving. FWIW he finally Offered to pay for a cheaper offbrand sensor and threatened to charge me if it didn’t fix my CEL.O2 sensors don’t vary much brand to brand but my stock sensor was OEM BMW and I wanted it to be replaced with OEM BMW.I Decided pride was more important than using a cheaper sensor, so I Paid out of pocket for new OEM BMW sensor and installed it myself. Honestly I just didn’t want to go back there after being talked to like an idiot even after they offered to replace it.Guess what? No more check engine light after I installed the new sensor! Won’t be going back ever! Won’t recommend to car community.Employees were nice, just don’t expect them to warranty the parts they break in the process. Might be ok for regular cars/exhaust work but def go elsewhere for custom work.Even worse, I gave them donuts the day of because the price was cheap...but that was before I new the manager was going to “politely” tell me to “Screw off”.😓
