Nice friendly staff. Good selections of everything. A little pricey but its worth it. Produce are always fresh.
Its like walking in an Amway supermarket with Poki selling at $27.99 per pound!. Dont get me wrong this place was my go-to place for 3 months because of convenience and I understand way they built this to compete against whole foods which is across the street, but the prices are literally double, its as if theyre buying from whole foods and taking it across the street and charging me double.
Good supermarket! Great poke!!Hawaii is very expensive. If you came from the states, spend the money and have a good time. Safeway has good poke too!For your reference, prices are about twice the prices on Georgia. Real estate is crazy high!Have fun!!! Beach park in downtown Honolulu is assume.
Is this Foodland? New, clean, and most updated products including many KETO items. I am so happy to see them in the store as many local products as possible. Not necessary to rely on shipping any longer! There is a competition around the area, but this store is best for locals. You can find a lot of goodies for souvenir, too!
Bought a small tray of Nigiri Combo sushi from their sushi section. When I opened it and ate a few pieces it was HARD & COLD!! So looked at the date on the label and it said...05-10-21! Today is 10-04-21! I had already eaten a few pieces so am praying that I dont get very sick from this!! Not good!! I shouldnt even have given the one star.
It is a beautiful store with an attentive team. You know what you are paying for when you walk in. High quality products and attentive staff. Not a super large store which is fine. Lots of yummy grab and go
Fruit danish pastry was the worst I’ve ever had. Very dense with no flavor. Decided to give the butter mochi a try and it was also very bad.
If you exit the Waialae Offramp heading East take a left at the 2nd traffic light and turn right into the parking lot and you will find the Market right in the center. Finding a stall is like going through a maze. Now if you have shopped at a FOODLAND you need to keep an open mind with this concept! Someone will greet you upon entering as you pass by a beautiful array of plants & flora. At first the store looked big until you go further in and theres a deli like area with a small selection of produce in the corner. Couple aisles, freezers and kitty corner is their R Field Wine Collection area, couple registers and thats all folks. A gourmet type concept is the best I can describe with a more finer selection of products to choose from. They picked a perfect location if thats was their marketing idea. If your like me, not my choice to shop if making dinner for you & the kids!
Very nice! Very cool offerings. Not all things are cheaper compared to Times and While Foods but still a great variety of grab n go selections. Et al is also a great place to eat, meet, or just hangout. Pretty good menu and service is attentive and friendly! Needs a TV though, ha, ha. Will definitely frequent. Nice job!P.S. Lobster Roll was not bad. Came with chips at $23. Nice price for the setting and service. Sorry, just dove right in and forgot to get a pic. Boo.
Good variety of gluten free and keto options you might only find online. Nice to try it here, first. Pricey though. The big difference between this store and stores like Whole Foods is that this store is much more speciality based. They have some unique gluten free and keto options (Im sure these products will change as products evolve) that typically cannot be found at other stores. Some decent selection of local products as well. What is nice is the majority of these products are all located together. So if you are shopping for bread you will see typical bread choices as well as keto bread and gluten free bread all in the same place so you can make a comparison. R. Fields has a mini store in the corner with a variety of brands both expensive and decently priced. Also a small humidor with a good selection of cigars. Right next to Zippys and across from Kahala Mall.
Upscale grocery with good options for gifts to bring back home. It reminded me of Sprouts if you have that in your area but with a lot of local Hawaiian specialties.
Although it is a high end market I love their specialty items. I got a good bottle of wine, tasty Gouda and yummy crackers. The bar inside also has a unique and delicious menu with a romantic ambiance.
Great customer service. The setup is wonderful, it is truly a feast for both your eyes and your tummy! Please try the truffle mac and cheese if it is on the menu!
Best natural supermarket I have ever been to. And, of course, they have the best fresh poke available!Hopefully, they will create more this concept of Foodland markets!Great outdoor seating, as well.Would be great additions to the island!
Never had a problem here. Always good selection of organic foods. One of my most favorite thing about this place though is their fresh flower selection. Its got single stem roses for small moments where you dont need a dozen or full boquet. I love that they have colorations you dont normally find and they are the larger rose buds. Store is new thus very clean, and while the bathroom requires a code, they seem to give it out freely if youre a customer as ive never had issue.
Upscale yet cheaper than Whole Paychecks! Nice selection of gourmet items.
Waiting for J. Dolan to open up. The main market tries to compete with Whole Foods across the street in the mall. Not even close, however more convenient and easier to find parking. BTW, why add the gas station? Just lowered the appeal of this place by 1 star.
Upscale version of Foodland. Love it since its close to home.
Very clean as it is new, similar feel to PC Foodland Farms but probably 1/4 the size. Little funky check out line as you have to go through a winding aisle, single file to get to the registers. I get it as they want you to buy the snacks in the winding aisle, but one lady was looking at snacks and 3 different customers were waiting patiently to pay for our stuff. Please make the aisle wider.
Clean. Very friendly staff. Convenient location.Large liquor selection.Fresh fruits and vegetables. One of the best Foodland locations!
I absolutely love that it was built here! The produce, and beer section is amazing! The to go meals are awesome! It is a little smaller so things are limited and it is a bit pricey but in all it is definitely my go to!
Great hot bar! The fried pork chops Mashed gravy Potatoes macaroni and cheese with the Brussels were amazing! It was like home made food with a nice size portion
Cool supermarket that offers more then just normal supermarket products.
Great little place. Its super clean and has some fun finds - they had Swedish pearl sugar Id searched everywhere for! My only reason for 4 stars is because its way smaller than I thought. Its fun to visit, but not sure I could do all my shopping here.
Its got a great selection of ready to eat meals plus some unique items. Staff is always friendly and upbeat making each visit enjoyable as well as productive.
Really nice little market that was easy to navigate
This foodland is perfect for the type of people it is trying to attract. It looks really clean inside and a lot of things were in stock. The space is a bit on the smaller side when compared to other supermarkets but everyday things will be there.
So nice to go here. Thank you for stocking local items and always being so helpful.
Today i checked out the new Kahala Market! It was such a fun, clean, and unique place to check out. I found some items here that i haven’t found anywhere else so i was super excited about that. The store was so clean, organized, and really beautiful inside. I definitely see myself coming back again soon!
Very friendly, helpful and one was overly talkative (haha) staff. He had too many suggestions but it was all good. Prices are expensive but the place is a short drive from my place. Convenient for a quick run to the store because I forgot something kind of errand.
Be sure to wear a mask under your shield if you are only wearing a shield. Each place is allowed to make their own rules and that’s fine. But if you try to enter wearing only a shield, they will tell you that you have to put on a mask which is fine but then the guy walked aggressively toward us, closing the space between us and him ushering us out the door. No social distancing whatsoever. My friend told him she had a doctors note to which he replied “I don’t care. We don’t take notes.” He could have been nicer especially since she is elderly and handicapped. Another friend told me she was treated badly when she took her parents there. Auwe!
After we went to the beach in the east side my family wanted to get some poke bowl and decided to check out this location since we hardly come to this side of the island. Place was clean well organized, but I was really disappointed about the poke bowl because it was too salty ... didn’t even bother to eat it.
Its nice and high end but my expectation was like it was going to be like Foodland Farms Ala Moana, but its more like a mix of Whole Foods and Foodland combined and pricey end just named Kahala MKT . Not really a big fan, Ill just stick to Foodland Farms Ala Moana or going Market City. It sort of feels like a winery walk through.
Amazing take out foods, hard to find Keto and other products. Very lovely store.
Love the ready made foods, deli/poke stations and everything is LOCAL!!
Clean new upscale market with a restaurant called et,al. Sit down area with fresh upscale food. The shelves are filled with high end food. You can go to the back of the store and order food to take home, pizza, poke, plates. I will check it out further on subsequent trips to the store. Definitely a place to check out.
Excellent store: super tidy, well stocked and the staff are very friendly, helpful and nice!
Wow, by far the best shopping experience! Excellent in all respects!
Great place to get poki bowl.
Clean, friendly staff, smaller than youd imagine, but they took advantage of the space.
Fresh new concept by Foodland offering all the conveniences of a grocery story, grab and go, and restaurant all in one. Be sure to check out et al. for a great sit down meal offering a creative and delicious menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Not too big, easy to find what your looking for. Very friendly!!
Covid compliant.Beautiful store and restaurant.Friendly service.
Small upscale market appropriate for the Kahala neighborhood, with international gourmet products alongside local favorites. Not sure if they’ll continue online reservations to enter the store after Nov. 22 but I think it’s a good idea given how small the space is and how high the interest will be fromthe neighborhood. They also have an attached full service restaurant, et al, that’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.A great addition to grocery options for the east side.
Inside is a very pleasant sight for the eyes. Prices are a little higher than normal.
Beautiful and clean, friendly staff!Well be shopping there again.
Fresh poke.
Nice place to go for haircut very professional and affordable
Brand spanking new and the staff are amazing!
Is like a wholefoods type food land. Expect higher prices for more organic foods.
Great alternative to whole foods convenient and ample parking.
Very good shopping stop
Overpriced bougie sprouts wannabe in a homeless infested neighborhood. Don’t use the bathroom it’s outside and you might get mugged. Just go to a regular Foodland, or Whole Foods that’s across the street.
High makas dis place
Excellent Blueberry Cheesecake
Love this place!
Expensive!
Like whole foods
Wow
Quality
Friendly staff, clean, good ambiance. Deli has alot of selection.
It is a market where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, seasonings, etc. Japanese products are not sold very often, but most American seasonings are available. American cookies and snacks are available as sweets, so I think its a good souvenir. Coffee was also sold by measure. We also recommend eco-bags, which are fashionable. AHI POKE, which is popular in Hawaii, also has various menus. The liquor corner has a lot of wine from whiskey. There is also a cheese, prosciutto, and side dish corner that goes well with sake. There are various types of bread such as croissants, bread and bagels. There are also abundant sweet buns such as donuts. The inside of the store is not so large, but it is clean and very nice. There is also a food corner, and the menu varies from day to day. If you buy it at the food corner, there are terrace seats so you can have lunch there. The parking lot is large and easy to park.
The clerk is so polite, maybe the new store is cleaner
