Where do I start with a review of this company. There is a lot of things that should be said here, and should be out in the open.So I have been shopping in the store off and on since 2009 when I moved to Hawaii. The items they carry are of okay quality, however their customer service is horrible, much like shopping at Wal-Mart.Ive walked in the store many times and have been walked over by employees, without ever being greeted or waited on. The staff here really hates their jobs, but after applying for the Store Manger position, I now understand why. The store sales staff only make $9.00 per hour plus a commission. The Store manger makes $40,000 to $50,000 plus a bonus. Here is the issue with that. Its not enough to deal with the sexist pig whom is the HR Manager, Karen Golden-Twiggs.When interviewing with Karen, she proceeds to tell me that the staff and managers in the past have been big busted, blonde females to draw attention to the store. She said that those staff members didnt work out, and she didnt want to hire a man, because she didnt think a man would fill the position correctly. However, when she started looking at my skills, and my work history she wanted to interview me and check me out anyway.I have been in retail management for over 15 years. Never had an issue with an employer, and have great references. I get an email today, after she had been calling me for weeks now, and emailing me, to tell me that they were going to pass, that they had better candidates. When I interviewed with her, and spoke with her last week, I was told that it was only myself and 1 other person they had got it down to, and that between her and I, I was the best choice. I sent an email back, and basically told her that I started a new job today anyway because I got tired of waiting on her. She emails back and said they didnt hire anyone yet, but passed on me because my references were horrible. Yet last week when she checked my references, she even called to tell me how great they were and how everyone she spoke to was bragging about what a great person I was and what a great employee I was. I bet you anything I was passed on because the lesbian HR Manager wants another big busted female in there instead of a cute gay man.So, at the end of the day, do you really want to shop from a company like Island Magnets, Fun Factory, Inc, Fernandez Entertainment and whatever other names they are calling themselves. Linda Fernandez, the owner must be a doozy to have hired Karen. I mean she hasnt been able to keep a manager at the store so far, wonder what is going on over there.

A small souvenir shop near the exit from the Ala moana Center gallery on Ala moana street, you can buy small souvenirs here, such as fridge magnets, postcard pendants, hairpins and other such trinkets as well as cosmetic bags of various sizes, all inspired by Polynesian views and the like all beautiful and colorful, eye-catching goods, as well as everything that can be bought inexpensively, I recommend
