Excellent service when extractor tool was returned. Got the Speed Out Kit. Idea is great,performance lacking. Returned to City Mill and suggested they stop selling it as it is an embarrassment and more TV marketing than an effective tool, and the package called it a pro tool.

City Mill has a great staff and play the things you need for home-improvement.

They will explain and answer your questions patiently. They will show you where you are looking for is. City Mill is where I always go because I know its always service with a smile.

My sister and I just moved into our new place. And the heat was getting unbearable. We had gone to Home Depot, Walmart, and Costco looking for a reverse fan for my window. We had given up hope until we saw City Mill. The Sales Associate named Daniel took us straight to the last one on the shelf!Daniel was a Godsend! I could finally sleep in my room!!!!!

Didnt have everything we needed. Prices are higher than other hardware stores. Sales associate was kind enough 2 direct us 2 another store. Thought she would have suggested calling another City Mill location, given a rain check or suggested another product.

Why City Mill when the big box stores are right next to them? Well, if you have an older home (usually anything before 1990) in Hawaii, or have an unusual part that needs replacing, this is the place that will have it. You will pay a bit of a markup on specialty items. However, for those niche items you cannot get anywhere else (even on Amazon), this is where youll always end up in Hawaii.Sales staff is usually hit or miss. Some of them are wonderful, and some people...are far less than wonderful. Not a dealbreaker, though. A lot of experience and expertise on staff regarding local construction and solutions, when you are lucky enough to find a great employee.Shop their weekly sale for very decent deals on some specifically local products. Flyers found in the paper, or in Midweek.Accepts credit cards. No hassle return policy (at least weve never run into any problems so far).Free parking. Average sized lot. Limited handicapped parking.Bathrooms available with counter space for diaper changing.

A little bit busier than Lowes, but not as crazy as Home Depot. Had to come here to buy a bulb but got the wrong color. Returning was easy. Cashier was friendly, and helpful.

Poor customer service instead of helping me he was insisting that I was there to steal something yeah actually made me show proof that I had measurements and Lay out For my project my wife works at Lowe’s and I work at Dhx and I was comparing prices on lumber and plywood to build my own cabinets and instead of him helping me he was coming at me like I was a thiefBecause I guess I wasn’t in the right area which wasn’t even mine restricted area I have never felt so insulted in my entire life all because he assumes because I have tattoos that I’m a criminal

Good selection, and great customer service. They also have a public restroom, which comes in handy when youre shopping with children.

I absolutely love City Mill. Its not too big and not too small, so I dont get overwhelmed trying to find something. But the best part of City Mill is the staff. They are easily found and are very knowledgable. Ive found their advice very helpful in my DIY projects. Another thing I appreciate is the ease of returns.

Unlike the Others nearby, here I dont have to ask for assistance. The sales staff always approach me first and with aloha. They truly try to find out what I want & then they figures out what Is needed to achieve a successful home project.

Best place to get hardware and stuff if you dont want to bother with the crowds at home depot. Selection and prices arent typically as good. But you are in and out in a sec.

Typical City Mill. Employees are welcoming. They have good stock of goods for any small work at home.

Once I walked though the front doors I was approached and asked if I needed to find anything. Thats when I asked him exactly what I was looking for and instead of telling me they escorted me to the location of the product. I was in and out in mintues, Nice customer service. Good luck getting that at Home Depot or Lowes.

Some things City Mill carries that the Big Box guys dont carry. Like 12 ft long screen frames, individual corners and holders. Also people that actually help you.
