I am so so SO grateful for the kindness that was extended to me today at Cinch Em Up Stables! Simone and the other lovely guide there (didn’t get her name) were SO incredibly accommodating. I had such a wonderful time! Amazing views and trail rides over a bridge and past a beautiful creek. You will love it here! And the horses are the sweetest! I had Sunny and enjoyed every bit of the ride! And thanks so much for doing what you could to help me find my phone that was lost. Word to the wise! Keep your pants pockets empty when riding! If you want to carry your phone for pics, figure out a way to secure it or just leave it in your car. Thanks again y’all!! You all made this weekend getaway such a special one and I’m just so grateful! I will definitely be visiting again (and will wear a fancy pack next time! 😅) ~ Lay-ana
Beautiful location! Had the nicest guide (Colette I believe)! We did the 1 hour trail ride up a little mountain through a magical field and then back down through a baby river and over a covered bridge. There was also a rodeo event going in at that time as well. Super nice riders explained the points system and it was neat to watch them do there work.
Absolutely love it. Had a wonderful time with my family. My daughters enjoyed themselves. Our guide was a true cowboy, he made the ride through the trails exciting. He was easygoing and very understanding since we are beginners and never rode horses before. The trail is easy, beautiful, I absolutely recommend this activity, it is definitely worth it.
During our family vacation in Chatham, we wanted to take the kids horseback riding. I contacted one place but they were booked; however, they recommended Cinch ‘em Up and said they were “fantastic.” I could not agree more! There was some confusion in the planning, but the employees rearranged things and worked extra hard to ensure that all of the kids in our group - ranging in ages from 2 to 13 - had a great time. The horses were great, the pony was great, and the customer service was especially great! I can not recommend them enough!
Kyle and Steve took my family for a memorable 1 hour long horseback ride thru the woods. It was very cool. I would definitely would recommend this experience to friends.
This place is simply AMAZING! As novice riders, the staff ensured that we (me and my three young kids - ages 10, 9, 7) were treated to an awesome experience. Ciara and Steven led us on a two hour ride on the first day (thats right, we were so impressed, we came back the next day for another ride), and Simone and Steven led us on the 90 minute ride the second day. These horses are so well trained, you really dont have to do anything at all, but you still feel like you are in control! Stevens advice to check out Mount Greylock after riding the first day was spot on. If youre looking for something to do while visiting the area, I highly recommend the 30 minute drive! Visit Cinch em Up Stables - you wont be disappointed!
Had an amazing experience. My boyfriends father fall from his horse lost his keys and they went between groups found the keys and held them until we could go and grab them! All such wonderful staff and a very welcoming environment!
I was very disappointed that we had to pay in cash (60 per person) .Then the trail was supposed to be an hour but we were back in 40 minutes, when I asked the girls ( who took us on the trail), they pretend to not hear or didnt know what to say and did not say anything. The place closes at 4pm, we started at 2:30 and the owner had told the girls to bring us back before the time because they had more riders (heard the conversation between the 2 girls) One girl even said to take us on a different trai for 7 minutes which will cover the time but that didnt happen. I would not go back. Please go to a different place where you get your money worth. We paid 60 dollars per person and it was not worth it!!!!!!!!!!
I was almost having a panic attack when I got on the horse and I really didnt want to go. One of the employees I dont know her name was amazing. We went on a 1 hour ride and she connected her horse to my horse and made sure I was comfortable the entire time, I still had a lot of anxiety and it was scary but she did an amazing job of keeping me comfortable and chatting about everything in our lives from musicals, movie soundtracks, dogs, dog shows and sports etc. She was truely amazing and it felt like I was talking to a family member. The trails were great and everyone was super kind, calm and fun. And they kept me laughing and smiling. And we went our own pace. I felt really safe, and the horses are treated great. Amazing mountain view. I wish I could give it 6 stars. Would 100 percent do it again. I recommend.I know the girl who worked there was 21 but I dont know her name.
Great family owned business! Great job. We had an amazing experience.
Brought my 8-year-old for a birthday ride, the whole family had a great time and the staff was great!
Our leader was super nice, friendly and relaxed. We did not go fast, but with children 10 and up it was a pleasant trip up and down a small mountain. Horses were will trained and the kids had no trouble controlling them.
Great visit with my wife and three kids aged 7, 7, and 6. Kids have to be 48 inches tall. Horses were very well cared for and the scenery was gorgeous. Nice calm ride appropriate for our kids first experience on horse back. Helmets mandatory for ages under 18 and are provided. Definitely plan on coming back.
Amazing! Did the 2 hour ride and it was beautiful, the horses were amazing and beautiful. Worth the money to do the 2 hour, the price is 100 percent fair for the experience you get! Our trail guide serena(forgive me if thats not her name) was amazing! Will definitely be back!
My 9yo son and I had a great time. Our guide was awesome and the horses were well tempered! Even getting rained on near the end of the ride was fine and we got back to the stable safely.
I took my two kids last summer 12 and 6 it was the little guy first time on a horse, they take really good care of the horses and the trip was up and down the trail on the forest. The kids love it sooo much that we went again at the end of the week.I would recommend making a reservation in hot weather.
Family and I took a 1 hour trail ride. Lots of fun, friendly staff, peaceful trek up and down the mountain and our guide, Alex, was very nice, helpful and patient with my son and myself. Highly recommended this place if your in the area and looking for a nice trail ride
Great experience overall, friendly and accommodating staff, beautiful horses, great horseback riding experience on the trails - my sons (6 yrs) first time on a horse.

Great guide, great views and well kept horses!
Expensive for what turns out to be 20 minutes walking around a large pen. Might be OK for very young children.
Lots of fun, a great place to ride
Beautiful tribute
