This review is based on my personal experience, ordered 4 new tires for my car online on 10/20, it said it would take 10-20 days! tires arrived early AM on 10/27. after receiving email of delivery ot had a prompt to make a appointment. which i did. I would also suggest calling them to see if they had anything earlier then whats stated online. i called. and got a appointment the day before. my tires were really bad so I took the earlier appointment. you should arrive about 15 minutes earlier, hard to find parking. when you get there for your appointment its good to find parking around the tire center area. check in. sign papers etc. it took them about hour half to get the job done. be prepared to kill time or have someone pick you up. love my new tires, thanks COSTCO 🙋🏼‍♀️

I tried calling this center for help. Dont bother because they dont answer their phone. They just let the phone just ring continuously. You need to go there in person.

Went to Iwalei Costco today to replace all 4 of my tires and received excellent, fast, friendly, and efficient service from Spencer and Trent. Mahalo nui!

Not satisfied with the customer service they did a very poor service on my truck scratches on my 4 tires when they replace my old tire to a new tires ..made a complaint about it they not do anything about so I talke to jaimee who is the warehouse manager he was nice and told me to go get second opinion and go back to them . (Going to the dealership on monday servco Toyota mapunapuna t o have somebody check out the rims

My one star experience starts with arriving after making an appointment a few days prior. There is a walk-in like and a line for people who have made appointments. Its not a big deal to not be seen immediately but I waited without being addressed for ten minutes and then was seen, and there was no indication that my car would be worked on anytime soon. Im not actually sure what the point of making an appointment is really if you are just given the same priority as everyone else. Again, its okay to not be catered to, but there is an expectation vs reality conflict of what is promised online (where you make the appointment) and what you get when you show up. Two additional stars go Randy the tech who eventually did help me and was fantastic.

Awesome. Cars battery apparently died. The Costco Tire grnrlsn help me out to jump my battery. Really thankful for his help.

Horrible experience. Does not matter if youve been waiting in line the whole time, they take the guy that JUST walked in (when theres four people in line) Gross lack of organization, and management turns a deaf ear when contacted.

I had to reset the TPMS sensors on my car and they were able to help me without an appointment. I just drove up to the service bay and my sensors were reset in under 10 minutes.

Went on a Saturday. No appointments available. Checked in late so it took most of the day but the vehicle was done when promised. Price was reasonable. Staff was nice. Advise going by 6:30 to stand in line early if you need it done quick, or just do the two car, two driver thing and leave it for the day. You can make appointments Monday through Friday. Just fyi

Made an appointment to have 4tires put on.I was waiting from 11am to 7pm after they closed on a Sunday.

Good price. Top notch tires. Terrific service. Best to come in early when they open.

Super great customer service

You will need either a lot of time and patience for this tire center, or have a lot of spare time on your hands,waited for over 40 minutes to return a battery.Not sure why they take so long and if this operation is a profit center. but how about hiring more people to process your customers faster. It seems that they need to do everything for a transaction.

Staff in tire center is always helpful and quick, they must do a ton of cars every day. Walk-in as early as you can if you dont want to wait long. This Costco is kind of crazy in general and by lunch youre gonna be waiting till end of day. You can also make online reservations for certain maintenance things. Tires have a pretty good warranty too. I just got a free patch job because I was under milage covered.

Probably the worst ran outfit on island. Called well in advance, or tried to. The phone just rang and rang and rang, until I got patched back to the main menu. Went through that cycle the entire drive in from North shore... Never got an answer. Stood in line for over an hour (the phone on the desk ringing the entire time)Needed a single tire, went an examined the car with the tech, he went and confirmed they had the tire. Started to ring me up and remembered he had to check the book. Then informs me my current tires arent rated properly for whats specd according to the Costco book. So I cant have the tire unless I replace the rest... Over 2 hours for this... I dont blame the tech, hes bound by Costco policy, I get that. But theyre understaffed, mismanaged, and a phone call that apparently a lot of people are trying make could have saved us all a lot of time. Of the 6 people who got serviced in from of me, only one was actually able to purchase what they were standing in line for, and they bought a battery.In contrast, Lex Brodies picked up on the first ring, has the tire in stock, and said theyll have it switched out in an hour or so. Never getting tires from Costco again.

Deals are here. I think service depends on the staff and can be a hit or miss. Ive had workers that just tell you the problem and another who helped me even after my appt was done.

Jon checked my tires, explained about the wear, and although they didnt have my size in stock, looked at other Costco locations and even offered the option of online ordering. Thank you for great customer service! Much better experience than Sams.

My husband opted to replace one flat tire via stand by and got there at 8:30AM making him #8 for the day. He came home after 9 PM in the evening after waiting all day to change one flat tire for a new tire.This is a warning to all who go down to Costco iwilei without an appointment, don’t do it. Unless you’d like to wait for 12 hours for one tire to be changed. The girl before my husband got there earlier in the morning and left after 7 PM for the same situation.Make an appointment or don’t go there, they’re too ridiculously busy.

I made an appointment thinking that would prevent a long wait time. I waited 3 weeks for the appointment. I arrived 5 min before my appointment time, let the clerk know I was there for my 4pm tire installation. and was told to wait in line behind the other customers. 20 min later, I was able to check the car in. The clerk said the wait would be about 2 hours. I was told 40 minutes when I made the appointment. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told it was because they were busy and I had come at the worst time of day. They should not schedule appointments if they are not going to honor them.Total time was, in fact 2 hours, the same as for a lady I talked to in the line while waiting in who had come in without an appointment a few days earlier at about the same time.

Service was very good but the wait to buy the tire and make an appointment was long. If possible, do it online and save some hassle.

Been calling for an hour straight, from 4:30 to 5:30 on a Monday and no answer. Just wanted to ask if they have a certain tire. They need competent employees.

Everyone we encountered here was courteous and helpful, got my tires ordered arrived in exactly the time quote and installed the next day which was a Sunday morning it took a few hours but nothing extraordinary as there were a good amount of cars already ahead of us, will definitely go back in the future

Techs are clearly knowlegable, however, front desk tech Micah had a line out the door and we stood there for good 20 minutes. Did not greet or ask to wait. Was fussing around with other customers before we walked in then switched to phone. Seemed kind of ignorant so we left and took our business elsewhere. Thanks a lot. All I needed was a quick tire patch.

After waiting 3 1/2 weeks for an appointment they went out of their way to try to force me to buy 2 more tires I didn’t need. Now I’m waiting in an hour long line for the cash I had to pay up front on 9/16

They are the best on the island. Nigel worked on my tire and he went beyond and above. Their service was flawless.

Been here 3 times and everytime its the same. The line takes an hour! There is always 1 person helping at the register and sometimes they follow customers to the parking lot to help them which takes 10-15 mins per time. Even with an appointment it still takes an hour for dropoff.

When I had a nail in my tire and my tire was not in stock, the associates at the tire center put a spare tire on for me and found a Costco that had the tire in stock. I really appreciate these guys!

This place takes the grand prize as worst costco (tires)! Have to wait hours for anything to be done. Plus a line mile long with 2 working front register if youre lucky! Always some drama. They called me every 20 minutes to nag me about which tires to change, found this oops on that etc. Latest snafu was they tried charging a simple $3 fee and said my membership expired 2 years ago! It did not, their system is so messed up that one department doesnt jive with another. Lastly, good luck getting them on the phone. I called for an hour at 10 am...but theyre always on the line ringing and ring at the shop.

Unbelievable tire prices and warranty-replacement. Just make sure you do your part to keep your warranty good.
