One of the slowest Walgreens I’ve ever been to lived in Homewood for 17 years it’s a shame how the majority of the people that work at this Walgreens works went to pick up a prescription they can’t even get it right get home it’s the wrong prescription in the bag disgustingIf I could give this Walgrens a worse rating they only give you one start the lowest I wouldn’t even give this place a one star luckily I was able to look at the bottle before consuming my medication I can just imagine how many other people they gave the wrong medication and possibly hurt or killed someone for giving them the wrong meds

Worst Walgreens in the south suburbs. No one ever answers the phone and you are forced to go into the store and demand a manager. Before today their have been many bad experiences at this location. I am now on hold for 30 minutes for the 2nd time tonight. The first time I called someone answered and placed me on hold. 30 minutes later I’m hung up on. Called back again still nothing. I’m simply calling about a photo order status. I would hate for it to be something important. I recommend not using this location for anything besides a quick run in for something simple. This location has been garbage for quite some time and it surprises me things have not gotten better. After a 10-hour work day I’ll have to put my shoes back on and go up there. Never again.

I am switching to CVS Pharmacy after my experience this evening at this Walgreens. I will no longer be doing business with any Walgreens pharmacy at all. Yesterday I went to another Walgreens for a prescription and they said they’d have it in 2 hours. 2 hours later they called me and said they actually didn’t have it in stock so I had to drive back and get my prescription back from them (why didn’t they just tell me right away that it wasn’t in stock, why make me drive back? Perhaps I could’ve got it filled last night if they told me right away). So today after work, I drive to this Walgreens in homewood, and they make me wait in a really long line, with the person at the counter completely unable to figure out something with another customers insurance card. After making me wait for 30+ minutes, when it is my turn to come to the counter, the pharmacist tells me, without even looking at my prescription or anything “we’re not going to be able to fill your prescription tonight because we are panicking right now (for some reason I couldn’t hear because she didn’t explain it clearly enough)” so why did she make me wait for 30 minutes? Why was that not communicated to all of the people waiting in line? That is 2 days in a row I have driven all over and waited in line, just to have Walgreens unprofessionally tell me “sorry, we can’t help you.” The pharmacy hours were posted as open until 9:00. How is it that the pharmacist at this location would just tell me, “we can’t help you tonight” when it was only 6:00? She didn’t even look at my prescription, just turned me away after I waited in line for 30 minutes. I will never go to Walgreens for a prescription again and will be going to CVS or whoever is professional and effective from now on.

Literally the worst Pharmacy of all the South Suburban Walgreens - Both inside and drive through. Expect to wait anywhere from 45 mins to 1hr no matter the time for day.

Worst Walgreens Ive ever been to. No one knows whats going on, all employees walk around clueless. I still can not get a hold of corporate.

Very great experience there from out of town and came by manager and all employees were very helpful and friendly, store was clean. Shoutout to the manager she was very professional and helped me get a new face mask

The manager at this Walgreens is not friendly. She is not accommodating or customer orientated. She is not welcoming and made me feel unwanted in the store. The managers tone was aggressive and condescending. I have never had a good experience with this manager. This is the first time I reported this manager because I try to give people a chance. I entered the store attempting to buy a product at 35 dollar each. I took three of those items to the front of the store to check out. I noticed that two of the products had a 5 dollar coupon on them and the third did not have the instant 5 dollar coupon. I asked the manager to honor the 5 dollar coupon for the third item. She denied my request and told me that even though it was the same product, the vendor did put the coupon on the item because they ran out of them. I asked her to accommodate me with a 5 dollar reduction. To put this in context-- my total was over 100 dollars at check out. I was only asking Walgreens to provide a 5 coupon to a product. The store manager tone became aggressive and disregarded my request with anger. I was so taken back by this interaction. I removed the item completely and left the store. I love Walgreens but this experience was the worst.

If you’re thinking of getting a covid vaccine here, you may want to reconsider. Don’t know if it was the time of day, understaffing or indifference, but myself and several others who showed up on time for our appointments waited 45-50 mins for the actual shot after completing our paperwork. My first shot was a 25 min total process at a different Walgreens. No apology or explanation for the wait was offered.

All of the staff are very kind and helpful. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

The pharmacy is constantly behind. Your order is NEVER ready and they are very rude! The customer service is subpar. Going inside lines are long or drive thru because they never have prescriptions filled! No matter the time of day they are always behind!

Majority of the pharmacy staff is rude as hell AND extremely unprofessional. They do not make you aware of the status of your prescriptions. Im constantly experiencing staff not applying my insurance to my prescriptions. Not to mention this location brought upon themselves to substitute a prescription for another brand. I was told it was due to they were going through another manufacturer. When I inquired if Walgreens was as the only pharmacy no longer carrying my prescription, because I was going to transfer the prescription to a completely different pharmacy. Magically they still had my brand. So please be aware. Also, lousy drive-thru service.

I switched to another non Walgreens pharmacy because of the lousy customer service in pharmacy at this store. I work too hard for my money to give it to someone that mistreats me.

I see why they are rated highly. I had called up to 15 Walgreens Pharmacy to inquired if they carry a specific shot. None of the stores have the shot, including this store. This is the only store that offered to check if any of their stores carry the vaccine. Very prompt and quick services. great Job !!

These people are life savers. I’m being a little dramatic but honestly they really helped me. I lost my phone in the store and they all stopped to help me. Jazmine, Francisco and Kelly the manager we’re all super helpful. I’m 2 months pregnant and a single mom to a 2 year old child and so I need my phone at all times. I work really hard to get it and I was crushed when I thought I lost it for good. Jazmine used her phone to call mines and at first it hung up but the second time someone answered. I’m so grateful to all of them for what they did. They really made my day. Thank you so muchP.s Frank the front cashier was wonderful. He greeted me when I came in and answered any questions I had. He had a friendly attitude when speaking with me. By far the best customer service and Walgreens I’ve ever been to. This was my first time at their store so it’s nice to know that they wanted to do everything they could do to help me

I like coming to this Walgreens early in the morning they have a really nice stuff here always greet when you come to through the door assist you if you trying to look for something or always asking if you need help stores always clean store you can find some good deals

Pharmacist Dr Mohammed, I believe is very unprofessional. I was inquiring about over counter medication and in the middle of our conversation walked away (literally) without WARNING to answer someone else’s question. I wasn’t taking to much of his time. RUDE VERY RUDE.. I hope he doesn’t plant bad seeds. It wasn’t even that busy .. however the other assistant there was more helpful. I believe she was Hispanic. Never will I walk to that Pharmacy again ...

Their pharmacy staff is rude, especially the lady with the blonde hair. She is a white woman in her mid thirties or forties with a bad attitude.Every time i come here, the blonde lady she discriminate against me. Every time she does my order, she never finish it. I will have to wait longer for it. I have no problem with the other staff in pharmacy beside her.There is another lady at the photo station, she discriminate against me. She is a older black woman. I always avoid her because she gives me the stink eye. She refuse to take my passport picture. I had to ask the manager. The manager had no problem taking my picture. They told me to come back in an hour. I came back three hours later. they did not develop it.Other than that, the store is fine. i appreciate the other staff that actually do help. They have wonderful customer service skills.
