My friend and I bought a remanufactured power head for an outboard for $1600. We sent Johns son down to pick it up for us, and what he brought back was this beauty. Every time we call the owner is nowhere to be found. Tom who runs the place when he is not there doesnt seem to know when he is coming back. They are not a respectful business. Buyers save your money and go elsewhere. See photos below of what was supposed to be rebuilt.

I purchased what Hardcore Marine described (by Employee Tom) as a remanufactured power head for a Yamaha outboard for the cost of $1,600.00 (USD). My son drove 6 hours to South Florida to accommodate Hardcore Marines schedule and so I would not miss work. He (an unexperienced youth) returned with a power head which had components deliberately removed, such as temperature sensors, oil injection and a receipt for one used power head SOLD AS IS. After further investigation and inspection, my mechanic discovered major damage to the interior of the cylinder heads and the water jackets completely clogged with salt and sand. What they sold me was the antithesis of what they described (or advertised) to me. Im willing to pay a restocking fee but after repeated attempts to resolve the situation without any response, I feel theyve taken advantage of my family and have no remorse.

This the worst company ever lairs they stilling money from people very poor people this location don’t buy nothing there the owner is liar. Just be carful they are scammers there.

Bought a used Yamaha 250 4 stroke. Great motor. Staff helped me get what I needed, didn’t try to oversell like the last place I was at. Impressive inventory.

Guy flips boats in addition to selling motors and doesnt due any due diligence with checking the overall performance. All his boats and engines are bought through Craigslist- you will have the same luck buying it from a random guy as from this flip artist. Read the other reviews. Dont buy anything from this flipper. Save your money.

I made a phone call asking for availability of an outboard and as I was explaining what I was looking for and who ever answered the phone straight up hung up on me. Awesome customer service. Ill take my money to someone who wants it. Should change the name to Hardcore A-holes!

Guys at Hard Core Marine were exceptionally helpful to me. Out of my home area, but needed input on a motor installation they had completed for someone else. Excellent feedback and help to me.

I went in person to test a motor and they said it cant no be test it and no even know the compression number and hours after posting that the motor run ok.Its no a marine supply its a junkyard, go in person and see it.Watch out!

Excellent service in finding some older hard to find parts. The parts counter guy knows his stuff. I also noted a large amount of inventory.

Great guys to deal with! I bought a 150 hpdi and couldnt be happier with it. Great motor at a great price. It was a pleasure doing business with Chris. He sent me multiple photos and texted right back on any questions I had. The crew was great helping me load it up and haul it away. Was definitely worth the 3 hour trip. I have also purchased multiple parts online and their prices and fast shipping cant be beat. I am sure I will patronize them again in the future and recommend them highly!

Don’t buy there the owner is crazy lair, they are not human there bad customer service be carful what store and they will never refund any money if you have a problem they just not helping they just don’t care, avoid to buy there by in better place and more reliable place.

If I was you I will not make the same mistake I did. They will take your money with a smile. But they wont tell you that if you got the wrong part or have problems with it you are stuck. Tom by experience is the worse one. Stay away and spread the word. Hollywood, Florida and Yamaha needs to do better.

DONT buy parts, especially online from this place. You place the order, pay for your order, then call them a week later to check status and the first thing the guy said on the phone was your not getting your order! He didnt even ask my name or order #. At least I paid with AMEX thru Paypal so my money was refunded. Time to close the doors boyz!

Ordered a lower unit and was quoted a shipping price and was called later to jump the shipping price up close to $100. Then was told that the shipping time went from 3-4 days to 8 days. Guy an the phone didnt seem to care and could hear someone in the background saying who cares let them find it cheaper. Worst buying experience I have ever seen.

Have stopped by store twice. The only reason I went twice was because I did not think the attitude I got could be duplicated. It was!!! The entire staff could use a course on how to talk to people.. Will not go there again. I have had some friends use them for repairs and they will not go back as well.

Purchased a new F70 from Chris, they gave me an excellent price-did the work on time- and did an excellent job on the rigging-install- and--- when they said they were going to do it. I am a pain to deal with (ask my wife) Chris has the patience of a saint and was always kind and professional to me there is a place in heaven for him LOL! Their shop is an old school shop no frills like my dad use to have, no BS its like dealing with family be patience since they get swamped Greg is always on his computer working and their parts guy works hard as the place is always loaded with incoming stock. Once I came there at 4:00pm and needed a starter for my old 90 two stroke right away so I could be on the water the next day-Greg removed a used unit from a 90 that looked like new for half the new cost and got me going so I could work the next day, try that at other shops. I have sent other friends there and have never heard a complaint one was with a wiring problem that they fixed on a Hellsbay Whipray and one was for a new install for a 90 Yamaha on a HPX both of my friends said they did a good job and were happy I sent them there. They have two mechanics Scott and Tom, drive by and you will see them working hard in the yard and maybe even Greg the owner, he knows his business and gets his hands dirty how many shop owners do you know that do that, he is there six days a week running his shop its not easy doing that especially in the marine business. I am not a friend of theirs just a customer that has had an excellent experience dealing with them......Capt Dave Hunt

The worst service ever! I bought a motor from Ebay. They convinced me to buy outside of ebay to save them some money in fees. MY MISTAKE. The motor that arrived was 4 years older than the one that was featured in the ebay ad. PLUS it had a bad cylinder and the trim pump was bad and it had a bent prop shaft. When the motor arrived there was trim oil all over the bottom of the crate. What a joke!!

I purchased a pair of OX-66 Yamaha Motors from this place. One had a bent crank and the other had a blown lower unit. As it turns out BOTH motors were submerged - salvaged from a boat that ran aground. These clowns cleaned them up, sprayed some paint on the lowers and sold them as running take-offs. A total fraud. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has been contacted and we are pursuing CRIMINAL action. SHAME on you HARD CORE MARINE!

I bought a used Grady White boat from Hardcore Marine last month. Everything was delivered as promised and Chris was a pleasure to deal with. The 225hp Yamaha had an oil pump issue which triggered an alarm on the dash when I first took the boat out. These guys took care of the issue the following day and everything works well. Ill be back for parts and service.
