Called and waited on hold multiple times for long periods of time.Would not recommend.(Update)Finally was able to have someone send me a shipping return label.Sent the item back and still havent received my return funds.Once again no one answers the phone or emails.

I ordered a lock which came in time, but, through no fault of their own, was defective. After speaking with the manufacturer and receiving a ticket number for replacement, UHS was extremely responsive in sending the replacement lock, which arrived in 2 days! I would definitely recommend this business.

I had previously posted a review, which I believed was fair, at the time. I had ordered an item, believing it was in-stock and it was not. I couldnt wait two weeks, so I canceled the order and placed another order, with a different supplier. It then took a while to get my refund, but I did get the full refund. That was my one and only experience and I will definitely give them another opportunity, in the future. Im not sure why I cannot update my original review, but Id attribute that to Google.

Great prices, great selection. All good comes with bad. Past 6 months has been a roller coaster. They advertise ship same day if ordered before 3pm. I have waited weeks for orders. Simple key orders are delayed because of a back ordered item (which they do not communicate to you). Send out the stuff you do have, send the back ordered stuff later.Bad communications here. UHS initially was delivering the product we ordered one day later than what was indicated on their website. This was too late for us as we were leaving the country and needed to take the package with us. Upon calling customer service, Amanda took personal care and concern for us. UHS admitted the mistake and worked with FedEx to reroute the package to Ecuador. Amanda truly went above and beyond to ensure we were a satisfied customer. When calling customer service, ask for Amanda. Her personal care and concern are impeccable.

Customer Service is awful!!! First I ordered a part that showed in stock, but after not receiving it and calling customer service 5 times-finally found out that it was backordered. Each time I spoke to customer service (over a 1.5 week period) they promised me they would call me back to update me, BUT NEVER CALLED. I had to call them continually. Finally, I had to cancel the order, due to being backordered, and they said they would refund me what they had already charged on my credit card. How do you charge for something that has not been shipped? Now I am on week 4 and have not received the refund. Again calling several times, and promises they would call back. Do not use this company - no customer service and very incompetent for handling anything.

Terrible customer service with unqualified representatives. Products are not made by them so the quality is based on the manufacturer, but their customer service representatives are untrained and uneducated.Re to owner: there is no resolution from your company. Ive called your company multiple times before, asking if I can exchange an item because one of your sales reps recommended me the wrong item (even though I provided multiple pictures of the item and the door for it to be installed on), but your reps denied me of an exchange.

In good faith I order via an agent via a telephone call. The three medeco locks (all keyed for the same key) arrived with only 2 keys rather than the 6 (2 free keys per dead bold) which is the normal protocol with Medeco. Trying to get this resolved has been ridiculous. I called Medeco and they confirmed 2 keys per dead bold order (these are rather expensive deadbolts), and that I need to go through the company I ordered them from. So I have been on the phone regularly since then. UHS says they are having difficulty contacting Medeco. I had no difficulty getting through to them immediately. So I am still waiting for the 4 keys (very expensive to reproduce) to arrive. Just resolving this would be great. I need the extra four keys as contracted when I placed the order. Think twice before ordering from this company. I will take legal action if I need to, but frankly, if you want this kind of experience, then go ahead and use them!Yes, all that happened but FINALLY, after roughly 15 phone calls, I got someone at UHS to order the keys and so I have changed my review from a 1 to a 4. In the end, they did the honorable thing.

Ive been ordering from UHS for my locksmithing business for a long time now and should have probably given them a review a long time ago but I now almost feel obligated. In general Ive always been happy with the website (easy to navigate and place online orders) price, the customer service when i have special requests and the customer care-support or tech support when i had any issues (they are addressed quickly and to a satisfactory and fair-both-ways solution). Most recently I had an issue with one of my key cutting machines and I sent it in for repairs. The tech (Ariel is his name, I hope Im spelling that right) explained the issue to me and what it will take to repair. The issue was under warranty so they fixed it for free and covered the shipping both ways, no problems. After a couple of months I had another issue with the same machine. It was explained to me that the issue was, again, covered by warranty and that the manufacturer will send replacement parts but will not replace the entire machine. Again it was repaired quickly and at no cost to me. Its my crabby luck but a few months I had another issue with the same machine, this time a manager named Roni stepped in to help me and stand up for me since it was apparent the manufacturer needed to take responsibility for a lemon machine. She sent me a new machine and a return label and said she would fight with the manufacturer for me and that I no longer needed to deal with this myself. This level of customer service, when they could have just blamed it on the manufacturer but instead stepped in and just took action for me so i dont have to, is absolutely the way to create loyalty and a customer for life. Every supplier can sell the same products, and maybe for a better price, but what really does it for us is things like this. Its what makes or breaks a relationship and these guys go above and beyond, even during these rough Covid days. I highly recommend these guys and if you ever have a issue just talk to them, they will make it right big or small!

UPDATE: 3/10/21 Customer Service Representative, Liza, contacted us via phone. The order was shipped to an old address. Apparently UHS had some internal changes with their system and warehouse. We did receive a credit from PayPal. She also sent us a promo code for $30 off our next order. I am changing my review to 4 stars. If we do use UHS again and have a better experience, I will change it to 5 stars. I do still feel like so many balls were dropped on this order, and we have a customer that has been waiting for weeks now, which reflects poorly on our company.Terrible customer service. We placed an order two weeks ago, and have not received any information regarding ship date or fulfillment of the order. We have contacted them twice via email. Today I called, and sat on an indefinite hold. We will NEVER use UHS again. This is unacceptable. Most of their orders are probably for small to medium size businesses. We are already struggling to stay afloat. We do not need to place orders for materials that never arrive. DONE!!!

As a new customer I have spent over $1500 in the first two months when I picked up my first order in person of $973 I had ordered three Lishi picks and actually received five by mistake so I returned the other two before I left the location I was not told at the time of ordering that there was a left and right hand version I received one right handed version and two left-handed versions When I called the company to try and return for exchange the two left-handed picks I am told that after inspection they “may” refund and exchange but will charge a 25% restocking fee These pics are brand new never been used but because I am at around 50 days after purchase that that is the problem…….Needless to say I will be using competitors for all future purposes I hope that you learn your lesson before buying from this company

Great prices. Good selection. Good Customer service. However, I have two issues. Their website says things are in stock but they obviously dropship. I’ve ordered a key machine, and key duplicator. Two separate orders, weeks apart and over two weeks delivery.The other issue. They say ships same day if ordered by 3pm. I have place orders the day prior after hours, and the day of at 8am. Still doesn’t ship same day.As a company you should underpromise and overdeliver.
