Glass top of my range broke. One Source Appliance Repair, technician Matt, came out and replaced it quickly and perfectly. the next evening, one of the elements fused. Called again, Matt came back out, found the problem quickly and showing me what he was seeing, explained what had happened and why. New part ordered, he will come back and put it in on thursday. They were sent out to look at my dishwasher by Lowes under a warranty ticket. Tech ran dishwasher for 10 minutes. It didnt leak. It had leaked twice when we used for the full cycle. It was obvious by the skirting on the dishwasher that it had leaked recently. He stated he would have Lowes parts team contact me. In fact what he did was reported there was no issue with the Dishwasher. I had to wait 3 more days to get that information from Lowes. Wont use this company and wont buy an appliance from Lowes again.

They were extremely nice and quick to respond. However, I found their labor prices extremely high and borderline opportunistic. I am intimitaely familiar with the trades industry and completely understand the necessity for trip charges amd hourly rounding. However, they charged a lump sum labor charge of $220 for 20 minutes of work on a non-emergency call. The bill was nearly double what we were quoted by them when we called and set up the service. I umderstand businesses need to be profitable, but found this well outside normal industry rates/charges for a relatively simple and routine dryer heating element replacement.

I had my service visit this morning. The technician called to notify me of his eta and he arrived within that time frame. Brian is the technicicans name and he was calm, honest, and informative. Brian went right to diagnosing the dryer and in about 10 minutes he had the answer for me! In Brians delivery of his findings he was not forceful or matter of fact in a negative light. He was direct but honest. I appreciate that. All went well. I will be referring to One Source in the future for appliances that I cant fix! Thank you Brian!

Lee from One Source Appliance Repair was absolutely phenomenal! He diagnosed the issue within 2 minutes of opening the lid to my dryer. He had all of the parts needed for repair readily available in his work bag. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions without hesitation. My dryer had a piece that had broken, so he replaced that as well as the belt and then vacuumed out the inside of the dryer since he was already inside the appliance (this was not part of the repair, he was just that nice!). He was very polite and was done with the repair within an hour. In addition, I was able to use the $10 off coupon that is available online. One Source Appliance Repair was awesome. And I am so thankful they were able to come out so close to the holiday and repair the issue in the same visit. I hope to not have anymore broken appliances, but if I do, I will most certainly be calling them!

They came out and misdiagnosed my microwave,, said it needed a upgraded door and I called the manufacturer they sent another company Convenient Appliance they had it fixed in a matter of minutes and all it needed was a door switch,,, wow!! One source told me it needed a unnecessary part and charged me for a misdiagnosed problem.. I will never use them again sometime the reviews can mislead the public and in my case it did,, I highly recommend Convenient Appliance top notch!!

One Source will now be our familys ONLY source for appliance repair services!! When our microwave began to make some uncharacteristic noises, we called the manufacturer to initiate our warranty coverage. The first technician (from another company) arrived after the scheduled appointment window, walked across our hardwood floors in his grimy boots...and upon installing a new motor caused an electrical pop of a power surge that, unbeknownst to us until after he had left, burned out the new motor. When I called the manufacturer to request another repair visit, they scheduled One Source. Their technician, Brian, called me within 30 minutes prior to his arrival time -- he showed up 5 minutes early !! -- listened to my detailed recount of everything I had experienced (with the other companys tech), studiously assessed and diagnosed the situation -- the incorrect motor had been installed. He was able to quickly order the correct replacement motor and mother board for our microwave. He further took the time to explain every step he would take to make the repair and scheduled to return in two days. After two days, Brian arrived and completed the job thoroughly. He and the owner (Arron) take special care to ensure their repairs are not only done correctly, but done with a personable and professional manner that is VERY refreshing and reassuring. They are now our go-to One Source for any of our appliance repair needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND :)))

Aaron came out to address my fridge. He explained there was a $69 diagnostic fee. Aaron was diligent in trying to determine my issue and he found my heater stopped working and it allowed a build up of ice and my machine heated up and all my food in freezer and fridge was lost. Aaron mentioned a couple of other items it could be if this did not completely address the problem. I encouraged him to go ahead and replace the other part that it could have been but, Aaron told me he really felt it was not in need of that and would be better to only address the broken item. I agreed. Today my side by side is working fine. Its zero degrees on the freezer side and 35degrees in the fridge. Aaron explained the bill and I paid it. It was $210 in labor for 1.5 hours which I felt was higher than I expected. I gave Aaron 5 stars anyway because he came out to my part of Pittsboro when others would not, gave me same day service when others said two weeks, and he called the following day to check on the fridge.I would use him again and have already given his name to someone.

Our dishwasher stopped working and we called One Source to repair it. When the technician arrived he let us know that is would be $323 to repair it however the part would take 2 to 3 weeks to get in. I didnt want to wait that long so we are buying a new dishwasher. I was upset however that I would be charged $89 for the home visit. The technician understood that it was unreasonable to charge for a service call when the part would take so long to get in so he waived the fee. Thank you so much. Very kind thing to do around the holidays.

We got in touch with One Source Appliance Repair through our home warranty in order to fix our dishwasher that stopped working. We put in our work request on a Thursday night and before 9 am on Friday morning we already had a call from them to schedule an appointment for the same day. They initially gave us a time window and then called beforehand to let us know exactly when they would be arriving. Donald came to fix our dishwasher and was very kind and courteous. First, this firm went outside the area to Durham to service my LG washer. The office staff was very helpful and when I was able to provide additional information from LG they were pleased to incorporate the warrantee info into the service request.Day of appointment, the tech called and reviewed the issues with me and gave me an ETA within 15 minutes. Upon arrival service tech was professional and curious and went straight to work after greeting my dogs. Within 10 minutes he had diagnosed the issue and explained the work and anticipated cost. We agreed to the path forward. He made the repairs explaining what was happening all along, I’m an engineer so this was very much appreciated.15 minutes later we were testing the repair and putting the machines back in place. This is complete opposite from the first company recommended by LG, who could not even diagnose the problem. I would recommend One Source Appliance Repair for any future repair.

I called to set up a service visit for our non working oven. Aaron spent fifteen minutes with me asking questions & getting an understanding of the situation. Afterwards, he didnt advise scheduling a service visit because he believed, based on my description of the issue, that the problem was something that likely could not be fixed due to lack of availability of parts (the oven is 18 years old). He even researched the oven model to confirm that the parts were not available. He felt it would be wiser and less expensive in the long run to purchase a new oven & even gave me advice on dealing with the fact that our oven was a matched set with a microwave attached.I was simply blown away by the honesty and ethics of someone who could have charged me for a service visit to tell me the same thing. Aaron doesnt sell new appliances or even recommend anyone who does so had nothing to gain by giving me this advice. He spent all that time on the phone with someone he didnt know just to help and was incredibly polite and professional. Its very difficult to find people like this anymore and I was so impressed. I told my husband that we were lucky to find him. Although we wont be using him for the oven issue, we now know who to call for any future appliance issues both in our home and rental home.
