After smooth rental experience, I received a unexpected cleaning fee of $50. I attempted to call office to discuss but they apparently direct all calls to central call center and I could not speak to anyone. I then took the time to return to the store where the manager indicated cleaning fee was in error and would be corrected. After no further contact or correction, I returned a second time to the store, where a new manager claimed fee was not for cleaning (as indicated on the final contract) but for a scrape in the FLOOR of the truck.Plan on very poor customer service and putting floor protection down if you intend to rent from here.

Our car was rear-ended which destroyed our installed UHaul hitch, and we needed another hitch ASAP to be able to tow a trailer of furniture. This store had the one part we needed within 100 miles of Grand Rapids, and they quickly helped identify the part and held onto it for us so we could purchase it and pick it up. Very helpful.

Manager was great, very friendly and knowledgeable about his products. I appreciate what he was able to do & accomplish for just 1 customer. Even added free suggestions and advice with towing trailers etc.

Lakewood location in Holland, MI have great staff. I havent had any issues using their services. If I wasnt satisfied as a customer theyre knowledgeable and will resolve the issue right away! No complaints!

My favorite U-Haul rental location by far. They always have what I need and the management is fantastic.

Excellent excellent customer service.State of art full service facility, with large fleet of trucks, pick up trucks, vans, trailers etc.They offer a full line of packing supplies to pack up a whole household.Full service hitch installation including RV’s.Plus state of the art climate controlled storage units.This area desperately needed this type of U-Haul facility. So glad it’s here.

Young man at check out was very helpful and knowledgeable. Confused about the charge on our credit card prior to rental as we rented online before pickup and ended up paying the entire fee at the building 🤔 Only issues with the rental truck involved the non-rented items stored inside the truck They had a dolly and a bag of moving blankets zip-tied to the inside of the truck. We refused rental of a dolly and blankets but they were inside anyway just in case they were needed. The location of the dolly and bag of blankets was not convenient, and they were in the way as we used almost every square inch of the truck. We were unable to move them as snapping the zip tie would result in a fee

Purchased special boxes online, paid for them, set time to pick up. They didn’t have them in stock. Will take a week, moving before then.

One of the nicest Uhaul locations I’ve ever worked with! They made moving day stress-free and all of the staff was very kind and helpful. Their store was clean and they had everything we needed. Will definitely use them again for our next in-town move.

I have used the 5x9 ramp trailer quite a few times to haul my motorcycle. It pulls down the road great!The service at this location is also great!The manager Day P. Is very nice to work with!!

I have tried contacting them multiple times and wait forever on the phone for them to tell me they can’t find my order. I ordered 24 boxes to pack, tried to call to extend them and had to call corporate. Corporate extended my rental for two weeks. I already paid $63.00. I was then charged another $139?!? I can’t get anyone on the phone to explain this charge.
