Told the mechanic that my vehicle died out after being jumped. I had suggested it was the alternator. Well, the mechanic apparently didnt want to hear it and told me it was the battery after testing the alternator. He put in a new battery and two weeks later...the vehicle died again. This time I went to a mechanic that was recommended to me from a neighbor and I explained to him what happened a couple weeks earlier. The mechanic from shop 2 agreed with my diagnosis and later confirmed that with no load the alternator was fine, but turn on the a/c or any other electronics and the battery will drain. Thanks Auto One mechanic for listening, you could have had a customer for life, but now I know better!
