I had the tomato soup and the Turmeric Tuna sandwich with fries. Deanna recommend the fries and they were very good. The soup came out HOT which I love and was exceptionally delicious. It’s cream based and may not always be available. The sandwich was made with very high quality ingredients and was fresh and delicious with just the right amount of heat. And the service was great! Very quaint and casual place. A perfect lunch!

We have been coming to Tostis for years and have been so happy here. We love the casual atmosphere yet delicious food. I don’t think we’ve tried anything that we haven’t liked. The help has always been so kind and particularly wonderful with our two young, high energy boys! I highly recommend coming here!

Food was delightful, subtract the covid restrictions and the indoor décor would be ideal for an enjoyable leisurely morning out with the misses. *warning* the prices are a bit absurd with the most gratitude given to the fact that there arent any sides included in MOST orders.

I like the tuna sandwich i ordered. It is well put together. Server is responsive. Restuarant manager goes around checking to make sure diners are comfortable and attended to. Looking forward to trying its shrimp chilli in the near future.

Quite the experience, though a little unorganized.-Spending some time in NJ, we decided to hit up Tosti which seems to be a Breakfast/Lunch hybrid restaurant. Id like to talk about the service more than anything. The servers are a mixed bag of fun; some are very lively and others are very polite. I could only spot a couple of long faces which is understandable, they get a good bit of service so a smile isnt always affordable.I couldnt catch the names of them but I want there was a asian lady dressed in red who was great at making the environment feel particularly welcome, many thanks to you.. whoever you are.An odd situation that keeps the rating lower is that they not only forgot an order, but were unable to split a check. I wont fault them for it though, but it seems like splitting the check isnt a common concept - if it is.. I have no clue why it caused so much confusion.The food was really good, I especially enjoyed their French Fries and Tosti BurgerI recommend this spot, just the service was spotty.

Whither you want breakfast, lunch, brunch, or dinner, this is the place to go! Such a cute little spot for eating out and not super expensive at all. When going there I suggest getting anything on their sourdough, any of the burgers (because of that SAUCE), or the waffles. Your portions are very reasonable. You’ll definitely leave full. :) The staff is adorable everyone is so friendly.

I went there and I asked for cheese cake the waiter I think she is the owner gave me a really bad cheese cake it smells bad and it is really obvious it is an old cheese cake. I asked her politely to replace it for me and she was like why do you want to replace it I told her it seems not fresh and it has a bad smells. The waiter was like no it is just a fresh. I will never be back to this place. No respect No honesty towards customers..There is not even respect for me as a human being as I have a health I should have to take care of it.. ..Please be careful ..because it seems the owner shewants to get rid of the old cheese cake in the expenses of my health.. How rude she is .. This place lacks credibility..It is okay for them to get rid of old sweets in the expenses of your health.. They never mind it.. .. Be careful.. I will never be there bad experience.

Awesome place. Super friendly staff, great sandwiches, breakfast, brunch and amazing waffle on weekends. Eat there many days a week. Plates are super customizable, take/add mostly anything you want.Children and dog friendly (there are usually both in the patio seating area).

Good menu for breakfast and lunch. Free refills on coffee! Bring your own beer. Outdoor seating. Super nice staff. (But no cold brew!). Is more casual than it looks. You can do work here or grab a bite with a friend.

Stopped on for a quick espresso. A little pricey for a double shot at 3.25, but have no problem paying more for a great shot of espresso and it met the gold standard. So much better than a Dunkin donuts or Starbucks. Looked like a move spot for lunch. I could only rate the espresso this visit.

Charming French cafe in a super convenient spot. The food was delicious and the prices very reasonable. We came in at 10am on a Holiday and there was plenty of seating though it filled up quickly. The espresso was perfectly made and the service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The music was a mix of 1960s acoustic and French Jazz. If I lived in Hoboken Id start my day here every day.

While the food is delicious, the service is extremely horrible. Even my 12-year old niece was well aware of how the waitress treated us. The waitress never bothered to come back to our table to ask if we needed anything else, such as napkins or more coffee. First time there, and just may be our last.

I had a lower star review before due to previous management. I believe they have changed it and the new people were much nicer. Food is great. The server was very friendly and attentive. Will come back again

Would be much higher... I like this place and their food... But I order the Hummus Salad - its very good and really should have feta cheese in it (in my opinion). When I ask to add it, they charge another $3 for a very small amount - bringing the price up to almost $17 for a fairly small salad. Ridiculous

A Hoboken eatery WITH BISCUITS, yall. Made in house, as are all of the pastries. Breakfast menu is just different enough to give this place its own niche in an increasingly dense breakfast/brunch-option area. The amazing croque madame (or its eggless male friend) is big enough for two.

Just had a Tosti Sandwhich and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection. No complaints.

This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, brunch. They have a number of Gluten Free items on the menu. They have an outdoor seating area, and the staff is very friendly and attentive.Food is great and service excellent.

Everything is fresh and delicious. Many Vegan and non-vegan dishes to choose from on their menu.Their teas and freshly made desserts are really good.We enjoyed this restaurant and we look forward to many more visits to Tosti.The service is also excellent which makes it even a better experience.

This place is a great addition to Hoboken. Absolutely delicious food in a really charming, relaxed cafe. The sandwiches are first rate and the tacos are really really good.And they have the best cheesecake in New Jersey!

This place is really good. They’re willing to change things to your order if you just ask. The only thing that is a little bad is that they have modern food (stuff that is appealing to millennials and such) but they can change things to your order, so it doesn’t really matter.

Really excellent! Came here on a whim seeking Eggs Benedict and discovered the Honey Tumeric Latte which is so divine and puts you in such a good mood, the eggs Benedict were refreshing with slice of tomato on top. Came back a few days later craving another Honey Tumeric Latte and ordered the chicken pot pie from the daily special menu and it was soo good, this place is now one of our favorite spots now!

Worst experience we have ever had. We came as a family with 2 kids. Kids were having a snack and my wife was holding a coffee. I tried to order inside and sit outside, instead I was told to sit and wait for the waitress. Which is fine. The waitress came and looked at my kids like they were having lunch with food from another place and not having a snack. I tried to order waffle and coffee, bit instead of taking my order I got - outside food is not allowed. And again - the look of how dare you bring snack into our food temple. After that we just left...

Well I was celebrating being employee of the month and came here to get breakfast for myself and two colleagues. It was the breakfast menu that caught my attention, different than the norm yet still identifiable for people who like classic breakfast. I had the biscuits sliders, my colleagues ordered the bacon eggs and cheese croissant and the avocado toast breakfast. Also I ordered a side of links french toast, cappuccino, and coffee. The staff was welcoming and polite, 5 stars for customer service. As I waited for my order I took some pics of the quaint, classy, yet cozy atmosphere. The food is very, very, very, very delicious. It was fresh, satisfying, eye pleasing and most importantly flavorful yet not overdone my sliders came with a well made raspberry jam. I tried the avocado toast and it was soooo soooo good. The french toast was good as well yet for my taste a little on the dry side, it was served beautifully with fresh cut strawberries. The price is very fair for the quality and satisfaction you will feel from eating here and I look forward to trying the other meals on their menu.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Casual atmosphere. We dined here but it seems like you could also grab coffee and food to go. Good service and the food came out quick. Menu has a lot of options. The lunch items such as salads, sandwiches, and burgers arent served until after 12pm. I had the eggs benedict and my friend ordered the french toast both were very good. The lattes didnt disappoint either. It is byob too.

The manager Clare is rude and pays her workers below the wage pay. And I had diarrhea for a week after eating a chicken sandwich from there. STAY AWAY. The kitchen in the back is disgusting and the floors are sticky.

Pricey & pretentious - $15+ salads and nose-ring studded waitresses with an attitude and bad breath await you at this joint. Our waitress had breath that smelled like she was gargling with dumpster water flavored mouthwash then washing it out with stale crusted sploog scraped off her dirtbag boyfriends boxers. The French Toast is fabulous, however - as are the hash browns and homemade jam. I left this place with a full stomach, herpes and a hardon.Enough said.

If I could give this 0 stars I would.Last week I went to tosti I ordered the farmers breakfast. The biscuits were more of a very dry roll and the gravy was like water. I am very picky about biscuits so I thought I just ordered the wrong thing because everything in all the pictures looks so good, right?!Today I went back. I ordered a Belgian waffle and the person I was with ordered French toast (both side items). My water had a dead gnat in it and was warm because they just have glasses of water sitting in the corner to give you when you come in. We then proceeded to wait for 30 minutes ..... for a piece of toast and a waffle. Now, I was a server for years and I understand the struggles. However, our server never came to us to let us know what was going on. The tables to both sides of us got there after us, ate, paid and left and we were still waiting. I get up to ask someone and they said they would have it right out. Great! I sat back down and waited. 50 minutes later... still no food or server. I went to the counter and told them I would like to pay for my drink and just leave. They did not allow me to do that. Instead they brought an appetizer of fries to my table..... then a man (who I assume is the manager) comes over and told me they were having issues with the waffle maker... yet multiple people around me had been getting waffles.... then our server came up to us and said the kitchen was behind... also a lie because people who came after us had gotten their food and left. Our server finally brought out the food and it was not at all hot and the waffle was so bland. I mean, when continental breakfast at a hotel has a better waffle then your restaurant you should probably just take it off the menu. this place had plenty of chances to make this right, but did not. Im always very patient and understanding in restaurants because I know what its like to be a server, but I was absolutely livid. We got our bill and we had been charged for every item... you would think they would at least have taken something off for our wait... wouldnt you? This place is horribly managed. This is not how you treat customers. This place will not last here.
