If you expect your food from across the street to be delivered an hour later because the driver went to jersey city first. This is your place. And the quality. Just look at the cheese on my cheeseburger or something on the bread. What a disgusting way to restart business. The best part. They weren’t willing to refund my money. I can’t wait to see what replaces you.
I’m not really particularly with the food in general . As long as it’s fresh I’ll be happy for the most part. This diner really surprised me with their burgers. I’ve ordered 2 different burgers plus fries to take out . Burgers we’re supposed to be with different stuffing and different prices . However we’ve received 2 exact same burgers and French fries that seemed outdated. Positive moment is that order was prepared quick. Really mediocre place, don’t think will be back again.

This is a diner plain and simple. It has decent food at good prices. Staff was attentive and friendly. If your looking for suit and tie this isnt it. If your looking for decent comfort food that wont cost you more than its worth this is your spot.
My delivery never came because after a staff person (who failed to mute the phone) asked ANYONE FEEL LIKE GOING? no one responded. But it was marked delivered almost an hour prior to my THIRD phone call. So after 9 years, Im never ordering from there again.
I placed a delivery order on Grubhub. The side I ordered was great! I had made note that I did not want bacon, onion, or dressing on the sandwich. However, it had all of those items on it. The food was still very good, but I had to scrape off the items I did not want.

I have always enjoyed this place for my simple and delicious omelette. The portion is perfect for my breakfast and fills me up. I wash it down with a nice chocolate milkshake. I ve been ordering from Spa Diner for almost 10 years. Never had a problem with quality or price. There s tables and booths there to sit or you can sit at the counter. The place isnt too big but perfect for a bite and a nice conversation. Has a warm feel of old-school diner with tasty choices that will make your tummy and wallet smile!
Awesome diner food. The staff has always been great to order from and talk to. Even when it gets busy with drunks on the weekends they are still reasonable to patrons.
No frills diner with fast service. Perfect late night food. People who work there are businesslike. Which is not a negative. They attend to you and move on to the next customer.
Edit: I boycotted the place and eventually went back to get some pancakes late at night. Theyre pancakes are good just a bit pricey. Their sandwiches are pretty good, depends on what you get. Overall Ill go here if theres nothing else open which is usually the case...hence the idea of a Diner right? :) Upgraded a star

The service was horrible. Everyone around us was reminding the waiter to serve them their missing food and so were we. The two of us were each supposed to receive a plate of toast along with our meals. When we asked for toast, he only brought one out with the side of sausage he also forgot. The food was good though and not pricey.

Typical diner with good food and very reasonably priced for Hoboken area. Omelettes and grilled chicken is awesome. Good portions. It is not gourmet or organic but hearty, old fashioned, delicious food. I would love to give 5 stars because in comparison to other places in Hoboken, this place is awesome but the customer service is really terrible. The delivery guy is very nice but other than that, the staff is always rushing and pretty rude. They barely listen to you and hang up when you place an order over the phone. A little customer service would go a long way. At times, I do not even want to call because they are just unpleasant. I do not expect the staff/owner to change but if you can ignore the poor customer service, definitely worth a try!
I usually go here if I am hungry late at night, typically at like 2 or 3 in the morning. I genuinely like this place a lot more as compared to the other places in Hoboken that serve food at this time as the people who work here are friendly, and the food is pretty standard as what you would expect from a diner with a catch. The prices here are essentially unbeatable as opposed to the other food places around open late at night. For the prices of the food and the vibe that I catch from the workers, Ill give this place 5 stars.
Food is ok. Found the grilled chicken sandwich was dry as there was no mayo on it. Single waitress was doing her best but service is not up to scratch.

This was my first and last visit to Spa Diner. First of all, the place is very old looking and dirty. Secondly the staff were rude as soon as we walked in. Thirdly, I was served my food while the waiter was having a personal conversation on his cell phone. I had ordered a grilled cheese and fries. Who would have thought the grilled cheese would be served without the fries. I had finished my grilled cheese and then my fries came.Please understand the importance of customer service!
I always come to the spa diner for many years but today I had a horrible experience first of all the waiter did not come to our table and take our order because they only do it during the day time and second he made my food cold what a horrible place.... I am so upset because I am cool with the cook but the guy that was there today was just horrible...when I asked to speak to the owner he said he’s home.... I will never go there again

Very downscale diner. I have always had good luck with it, but stick to eggs. I got a reuben for my cousin, takeout, and she said it was delicious, but then she was sick from it. So I dont know.

Great place to eat. I work here and i try to do my best to give all our customers the proper, fast service that should be given. I love all our regular customers, treat them with respect, and give everyone my attention incase they are in need of anything..the bosses are very nice people and will help everyone n anyone as much as they can. They are very good to work for.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Just literally saw the workers behind the diner use their gloves for EVERYTHING! They took down orders with their pens and papers and took MONEY and put frozen things into the fryers and cooked with the same gloves WITHOUT CHANGING THEM

If I could give zero stars, I would have. I ordered from here using Uber Eats and they never delivered my order. They charged me for food I never recieved and then theyre phone number isnt even correct on the website. Ive been trying to reach the diner and all it keeps saying is please enter your remote access code when you call their number listed. I feel like I was scammed .I work overnight shifts so this was the only place open and now I lost $16 and wont be eating tonight.
Great old time spot. The guy who served me was very pleasant and polite. I walked in sat nite at 6:40 pm . Two eggs over easy and french toast. That was the best evening breakfast I have had in a long time. French toast was outstanding. The cook was great but I didnt get his name. Whoever the owner is should know hes lucky to have both these guys running his establishment. Its for sure my new spot in Hoboken.
24*7 dining place in Hoboken, within a block from the PATH station, you get everything you can imagine, from breakfast, sides, sharable plates, dinner meals, take aways, great desserts and great coffee and tea. My go to place since last 10 years or more, especially for late night hunger hangovers!Try it, you wont be disappointed.

Amazing food, being from Denmark I have never tried being at a diner. This restaurant gave me the impression of an American diner. One thing, we were 5 ppl and they only had one spot for more than 4 ppl.
Ordered food online a few times now and order is always wrong. When you call they leave you on hold for too long and then do not care your order was wrong. I was just told to call uber and get a refund. The food I did receive was poor quality.

Daytime staff gets 5 stars from me. However the night staff has been very slow and rude the last two times and barely rank a 1 star in my opinion. Day staff has always been decent.
Avoid at all costs!!My husband and I live in Hoboken and while we’ve passed the diner a million times, we’d never gone in until today. What an absolute mistake! A few things that happened while we were there:- when we walked in we were completely ignored and had to find our own menus- the gentleman that appeared to be the owner chose to walk around complaining about the customers as opposed to helping the other people working there- we sat at the counter and thank God we did. We watched the food being made and the gentleman cooking the food was dipping his hands in eggs to batter the French toast and then would reach down to turn the toast cooking in the oven. He did not even hesitate or consider changing his gloves before cross contaminating the food.- after witnessing the above I couldn’t touch my food. Normally at other restaurants, someone working there will come over to see if everything is ok. The owner literally stood next to me for 5 minutes and didn’t say a word to me.- the restaurant smells of mold and it’s obvious the owners could care less of what it looks like in there.With all of the fantastic spots to eat in Hoboken, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else other than Spa Diner.

We have seen numerous mixed reviews about this place and as we live in Hoboken we thought to give it a try. Here’s my experience summarized:- The customer service was non-existent, when we asked for cutlery the scanned the table like we had something to hide.- The table we were sat at was dirty with someone else’s empty straw wrapper on it still.- The waiter had as much care about his personal hygiene as he did his customer service- There was a hair in our coffee- The pancakes were good, a little undercooked- The ketchup came out pink and tasted vinegary (?)- The food was on the cheaper end of quality and cost for the meal was by far too overpriced- Their own staff was complaining that things were dirty when they were eating their lunchOverall, I would avoid this place at all costs. I personally don’t mind bad service if the food is good but it was overpriced junk. I’d rather have eaten at McDonalds or another fast food restaurant.
This place is a complete dive, but the French fries are good and so is the beef gyro. It is also very conveniently located one block from the PATH. As long as you dont mind or actually enjoy the dive with a gritty ambiance while eating your food, it is palatable.

The food wasnt good. Some of their waiters looks terrible. I order one morning the waiter kept making this strange sound coming from his throat. This place is not the same as it use to be.
This is one of the few places which are open 24 hours and is located in the walking distance of Hoboken path station.Have come a number of times specially on Tuesdays after green rock which is like next door.The place us decent which ample seating for customers. They do have typical exhaustive diner menu. I have had omelette with sausage and toast which is really nice.So why this place gets two stars its because of the hairy particle which we encountered in my food last time I was here. Yes there was a small piece of hair on my omelette the last time we went here. They did replace my food but I would not eat at this place anymore which cant have basic cleanliness around food.
I work next door this place is my go to for breakfast and lunch. Also its not bad as an after midnight snack after drinking. One of my favorite greasy spoons.

After visiting today, this was probably the worst experience out of the 2 times Ive been to this place. The first time wasnt that bad so I decided to give it another shot. Instantly regretted me decision the moment I walked in the diner. Our waitress was rude and inappropriate, continuously gave the table an attitude, expressed that she was hungover, when one of our guests asked for something it was almost as if it was the most difficult task in the world for her, food came out cold, she argued with me about my order when my order came out with egg yokes when I said I wanted egg whites in my omelette which SHE confirmed with me the first time I ordered it, food took way too long, this was generally almost one of the worst experiences Ive had dining out. I dont know if she was having an off day especially since all the reviews are almost all so positive but I definitely wont be coming back to this location. I guess thats the kind of service you get from a 24 hour diner. Highly disappointed.
