I had an intermediate starting issue with a 15 year old Suburban. I was pretty sure it was a grounding problem. After the owner Chuck graciously came out to help me in the parking lot because he had a very full schedule, he renewed a loose connection on my battery and sent me on my way. No Cost he said. It was fine for 2 days. I then had a weak start in the 3rd morning. I took it back and dropped it off. They called and said it was finished. I picked it up the following morning. The charge was $45. They changed the battery and did the necessary paperwork to give me a free exchange through NAPA where the 3 1/2 year old battery was purchased. I took the crew a cake for being so nice, friendly and helpful. To everyone at Chucks business, I thank you from deep inside. Chuck you run a great business there. #customer4life

They were very friendly, answered my questions and did everything requested in replacing my 5 tires in under 30 minutes. Everyone was extremely helpful! I came in with no appointment on a Saturday at 10am...They were very busy and closing in a couple of hours. After hearing of my situation...(Frozen lug bolt and nut, new tire change out, replace lug bolt and lug nut) they went ahead and took care of it and resolved the problem. This required extra effort on their part. I was able to leave with my truck in great shape! The service charge was very fair too! Thank you for a job well done!

I live this place. I live in a senior park nearby and everyone there is great to us. Like many seniors I cannot imagine using a credit card to put air (which was always free) in my tires. They willingly check and air up my tires whenever my warning light comes on. When it need tires they will take care of me.rhey are exceptional.

Got 4 new tires and alignment at a decent price. Manager and staff were very friendly. The work was done in a reasonable time frame. They detected wear in front brake pads but gave no pressure to fix it that day. Would go there again.

Ive had trouble with a local St.Lucie Battery and Tire branch in the past, so I was weary of this branch at first, but the Hobe Sound branch has been nothing but good to me. Theyre honest and their prices tend to be far more reasonable than the dealerships. Never got service for anything big, such as engine trouble or transmission, so I cant honestly comment on that, but I would recommend them otherwise.

At Lucie battery and tire, they work hard to get you back on the road with any problems you may have, Kristin is friendly and very knowledgeable of every job needed, not just being a receptionist, but a mechanic herself! I highly recommend SLBT for all my truck needs

We have used this business several times and have been very satisfied. We have used two locations, the Palm City and Hobe Sound branches. They are very professional and its easy to get an appointment especially for emergency needs. We have been pleased with their work and they do offer a year guarantee. They took very good care of my vehicle and they were very professional very efficient and they did not try to gouge money out of me. I would say I’ve been coming here to service my vehicles for the last few years and I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience. The ladies up front are welcoming and the technicians are great and are extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

I had a slow leak on a front motorhome tire. The tire was leaking 40lbs a day but no leak detection technique was identifying it. The technician suspected that the valve stem was the cause but couldn’t prove it. I agreed with the tech’s recommendation to replace the valve stem. After 24hrs the tire is still at the exact same PSI. Professional judgement and service.

Waited 10 mins while secretary was on the phone. She never acknowledged I was there so I just left. Will never go there again.

The front desk team at the Hobe Sound location made it easy for me to explain what I needed and make an appointment. Once my vehicle was in the shop the Service Manager communicated my vehicles condition and was able to give me a visual of the work being done the the vehicle. All around plain less and easy experience!!

I barely got my car to the parking lot before it was completely flat and rolling on the rim, out came a technician with an umbrella to bring me into the reception area where they tended to my needs immediately. I had had four brand new tires put on my SUV 13 months previous, and even though they were out of warranty this amazing, caring and conscientious business took great care of me. They assured me they would work with me and have a brand new tire put on my car. My wife and I were in Hobe Sound late Friday afternoon when we ran over a nail and started to have our tire deflate. Concerned that we might be unable to find someone to fix the tire at 5 PM on a Friday, we happened upon St. Lucie Battery and Tire. Despite being extremely busy at the front desk with other customers, a gentlemen from the shop called me out of line, inquired about the problem and fixed my tire within 15 minutes! Clearly the best service and staff we have ever encountered at an automobile repair shop. The owner and staff know how to gain a customer. I am due for new tires and will drive out of my way to give this company my business

I went in to have the inside tire on a dually patched. They were very busy and estimated the repair would take 90 minutes. 45 minutes later the truck was ready and the price was very reasonable. I recommend this place.

Would not reccomend this location. After speaking to friends and fellow auto workers they agreed, unfortunately we didnt know prior to having work done. Called the day before and told us first come first served and only 30mins for the job to be completed. They took several vehicles before ours. It was 1 hour 20 mins till work was started. Then watched someone step on our headlights and stand in engine compartment. We then complained to manager, he then said I will get a taller person to finish job. No apologies at all only said how else is he going reach it. We suggested a taller ladder. Finally after about 55-60 mins the job was done. So happy to leave that place. Could definitely have better management for this location.

It is a great company, had a great experience, and dealt with one of the female mechanics who was outstanding! She definitely makes a customer smile when they are petrified of what might be the outcome. From all of my neighbors in Hobe Sound, they have all said they are very fair and will tell the truth. They are not out for your money. This I have found to be true.

They are very good and get the job done in a timely manner. Although I had to get them to rotate my tires after they changed the oil in my truck. They weren’t rotated during the oil change. But other than that I like using them for repairs.

I was having an issue with my truck and a friend suggested I go there. I stopped in, no appointment, they diagnosed and fixed it with no hesitation. Staff was friendly, waiting room was clean. I will definitely go back and recommend them!

Best experience with a tire company...dropped tire off...went back next day and out perfect in 10 minutes...yes i said 10 minutes...i have never had that experience at any other tire company...they didnt try to sell me the most expensive...they didnt try to sell me a cabin air filter...i went for a tire...got the 1 i wanted and was on my way in 10 MINUTES...LOVED MY EXPERIENCE

Just got 5 new tires for our 25ft Travel Trailer, as we had “dealership” tires on them, our spare was still new, but I wanted a piece of mind that all 5 of our tires matched! Great job! We will need tires on my 2018 Highlander soon, I will be brining it here and NOT the Toyota dealership! Actually, any tires we will need, we are coming here! Truly the best auto repair shop that’s ever worked on any of my cars. They’ve never tried to upsell an extra repair. Only fault is that they get so busy they can get backed up, which tends to make waiting time longer, but it’s not enough to lose them a star.
