I have a 1962 Austin Healey Sprite that needed a new water pump and new motor mounts. As the mechanic for my own car for the past 37 years, I needed to find a shop that I trusted, because I did not have a lift to do this work. Many friends had recommended A-! Auto and I am glad I took my car there. They did an excellent job and knew what they were doing–– never a doubt. Everyone was so wonderful to work with as if you were dealing with a family member who owned a business. It is so nice to see shops like this still exist.

The owners and staff are wonderful. They are friendly and treat you like family. I am always reminded to say hello to my relatives by the owner. They drive me home so I dont have to wait, and pick me up when my car is ready. Prices are below those I always paid when I lived in Palm Beach County. I highly recommend A1Auto to all.

They did the job quickly and the costfor labor was very reasonable… A few dozen miles after picking up my carI started hearing a nasty squeak, called them up and was told that itwas fine, the belt was just brand new… By the time I got back home thesqueaking was non stop and far louder. My mechanic had a look:1) I paid for a brand new water pump, and they had installed arefurbished unit2) They had completely destroyed the tensioner pulley and the wholeassembly needed to be replacedMy guy called the damage a rookie mistake caused by using the wrongtools. The cost to fix their handy work was more then their job.

The workers are very nice and kind. They are also honest and good mechanics. They told me what I needed and worked on my vehicle to make it better. I’ve had the best experience with mechanics here.

Was in a pinch with an antique car the day before a car show —-the car wouldn’t start !!(among other issues...) . They were busy, with a full schedule of cars, but they squeezed me in and made time for me.They said although antique cars are not their business that we should roll the car in and they would try to get us up, running and safe before the show.Everyone there was really nice, but one guy in particular, bent over backwards to help and was extremely positive, personable, creative and resourceful. A welcomed ‘can do ‘ attitude. He jumped in to problem solve and took initiative to fix some issues on the spot. He was exceedingly kind, and a straight shooter. It turns out he was the owner of the business, but not too proud to get his hands dirty under the hood to help out. I was so grateful.Much to my surprise, he followed up with a call to see if we were pleased with their work.Subsequently, I learned that a number of people I know have their cars serviced there. I completely understand why they said they love David, and his team.David doesn’t know it yet, but I shall be back with my regular car.

I was scheduled for a routine oil change, new wiper blades, new tires, and general auto check up. A1 Auto Care found a broken part of my oil distribution system, where it was leaking. I saw the broken part, and they were able to fix it before my oil leaked out all over the ground.The owner, David Morgan Is extremely efficient, and very customer service minded. After years of having A-1 maintain my cars, I know I can trust them. This was verified when I had my Mercedes E350 towed in because of a brake warning light that also immobilized the car. The owner called me to give me the bad news that a critical component of the hydraulic braking system had failed and it was a $2400 replacement. But he also told me that although the car was 14 years old it might be covered by Mercedes extended warranty. Mercedes Roadside Assistance towed it for free to the local MB dealer who replaced the system under warranty and free of charge. If the owner hadnt told me about the warranty, I wouldve had no alternative but to let them replace it. I think this honesty needs to be recognized and admired.

People at A1 auto care are the best. Problem engine shutting off intermittently while driving. A1 auto care found the problem called me corrected it with a reasonable price. Picked up the vehicle mechanic came out showed me where the problem was and explained everything. If you’re in the Hobe Sound, Fl area this is the best place to take your vehicle for repair. Went in for an alignment and balancing and left with a new favorite mechanic. By far the most satisfying and honest experience I’ve had in a long time. They not only know what they’re doing, but they (unlike most other shops) are there for YOU, not the profit. Their work is their signature, and when I say all in cursive with that fancy loop at the end, I mean it. 100% recommend this shop to anyone who is uncertain about their vehicle or who needs anything from basic work to FUBAR repairs. They also noticed that I had several loose bolts on my vehicle (I just purchased it two days prior) and tightened them all up free of charge. I will be returning to them in the future for any repairs needed. Long story short, worth every penny, every dollar in gas for the drive, and every moment of my time.

I was a woman traveling on I95 when my car broke down. The tow truck driver brought me here. I felt very comfortable there, everyone was very nice and respectful. Im a Christian man and a shade tree mechanic. I dont have a shade tree at this time. I know mechanics get a bad rap. But lets face it most times we get less service for more money. Also not always what you having done gets done right. I brought my vehicle in for one issue and another was discovered. Needless to say what was being repaired I myself shade tree mechanic thought that was the issue when I was told I had the problem. Well after a few days trying to find the right axles and installing them, which on their own were a problem needing attention and getting it. It wasnt the main issue. So after a test drive it was determined the original issue still exists. The repairs were made and two weeks later with no rush on my part. My truck is repaired. Prices are very reasonable. I look to go to no other place. I live in PSL and found it better to have gone there than to go elsewhere. God bless them David was awesome, glory be to God. Thank you Jesus.

My parents and I have been coming to Dave at A1 Auto for a very long time. He is one of the very few honest mechanics we’ve encountered through the years. A couple times i have gone to him thinking “time for new brakes “ and he has called to say, no, all good. You still have plenty of life left on them. Who does that? Most mechanics would jump at the chance to go ahead and do unnecessary service. I remember when I purchased our present Caddy Dave ran all the tests to determine if the car was a good buy. He discovered several items that needed correction. He really saved me some money and his fee was $0.00. What a guy. And if he needs to keep my car all day he provides transportation to and from my home. What a guy. Oh did I say that before? I must have really bad luck! I see all the good reviews. I thought this was a Christian place for some reason. I went there a few times. The (older)man in the office usually showed me what was wrong on the car. This onetime, he came into the waiting room and said I needed a $700. repair job,without showing me anything. It had to do with the part that keeps the wheels on the car from falling off. I declined to have it fixed at that time.6 months later, I came in for an oil change, and asked to see the problemhe had been talking about. The movement ( or looseness) he had claimedwas barely descernable,and to say the least...and HIGHLY EXAGERATED!!!I told him about my last car having the same (nonexistent) problem beingdescribed by the mechanic. On a 60 minutes show, a prevalent scam (as told by mechanics)is to make the person feel a sense of urgency, that their life is in danger if they dont fix something immediately (like your wheels falling off while you are driving) This was one of those incidents.I told them about my previous car, and the same thing being told to me.They got this absolute look of being caught with their hands in the cookie jar. I CAUGHT THEM!! I declined the service. It has been 2 years,and no problem with the car. I now go somewhere else. Their floor mats say honesty is our policy. Make them SHOW you the problem, and geta second opinion on expensive repairs. KEEP EM HONEST!

They did a great job on my Ford E150 van.Asked if they could do the work in 1 day and they pulled through even though they were extremely busy.Picked up my van from there went to the store and it didnt start.They sent a mechanic immediately to jump start it and put a battery in it even though they closed a half hour earlier.Really great service.Would definitely recommend them.

On 12/14/16, around 4:30 p.m., while driving in Jupiter during my vacation, a vehicle I had just purchased from a private owner completely died in traffic. The vehicle was towed to A-1 Auto Care, which was near where I was visiting and I was told there was no better auto repair. They were right! The vehicle was thoroughly checked and David explained all the issues with the vehicle. My situation boiled down to my being swindled. While the vehicle looked good on the outside, the motor, etc., was so bad that no one would take it as a donation nor could I give it away. However, David was determined to continue to help me after those two options were to no avail. As a result of his many efforts, he arranged to have the vehicle picked up by a salvage company. In conclusion, i cannot say enough good things about my experience at A-1 Auto Care with David Morgan and his staff. They were professional, competent, honest, friendly, affordable, reassuring...David Morgan went above and beyond to help me get out of a bad situation and I will be forever greatful. Oh, did I mention how clean and organized that shop is:-)

I was down there visiting a friend when my car had some issues. I explained to them I have a 10 hour car ride back home. They rearranged some things to fit my car in first thing the next morning. Even though they were unable to fix the issue which was a dealership issue, they did everything possible to get me back home safely. They work on extremely expensive cars to junkers. They have always been honest and fair plus their work is exceptional. They have worked on my car several times and they even will drop you off while they work so you can do some grocery shopping while they fix your car.
