My mom and I came in today looking for some guidance on new foundation to buy and Emrys went above and beyond for us. He was extremely knowledgeable, gave us great recommendations and educated us on the products. I’ve never felt super welcomed at other Sephora’s before, always a little afraid it was because I am visibly clueless about makeup, but he really made an extra effort to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Will definitely be coming back and asking for him again!

They dont carry a lot of Bye Bye, instant wrinkle eraser, rude personal, this store will not get a q-tip take a sample of lipstick to out on your skin, but they can out it on their skin( some staff are not as fair as someone else). So a customer had to buy go outside to see if they like the color, returns and buys another lipstick. I did this 5 times in a row in approximately 2 hours. StupidityNon professional when you walk in the young man pleasant about welcoming you then the girls staff come over and gossip whos in the store.

I had a terrible experience which made me feel unwelcome and unwanted in the store. I wanted to buy perfume but it was such an unpleasant experience that I bought my items and left without even choosing a scent. I also did not get a sample. What a turn-off.

I needed to get some more eyeshadow primer, gel eyeliner, I was going to ask for some suggestions on some powder foundation, then I wanted a few more eye shadows and lipsticks. I knew this visit would set me back a few hundred dollars, but we all know good make up is worth it. I walked in and wandered the store for about 20 minutes. I counted 6 customers and over 10 personnel, each and every single one of which made eye contact with me. Not one single person offered to help in that 20 minutes. Now, I came from work. Fully decked out in heels, hair and make up. (In case any personnel who were there read this I was the lady in hot pink Friday night around 7:30) I look like I know what I’m doing when it comes to make up because I do. After almost 25 minutes I decided to leave, this is when one solitary girl comes up and asks if I need help. I asked her if there was a manager on site and she says yes. So I pause. No offer to get the manager, doesn’t ask me anything at all. Now, honestly. Would you drop a few hundred dollars at a place that couldn’t be bothered to help you. I thought to tell the manager, hey, do you know your girls are standing around talking about their boyfriends and concerts and parties and haven’t helped one single person, and then I thought, nope. Not my problem. So needless to say I will be finding somewhere else to purchase my make up. I appreciate great customer service and I would much rather reward someone who wants to help me than those who couldn’t be bothered. From the reviews, I can see I’m not the only one.

Tina and Natalee and the entire staff went above and beyond to help me when I booked a full-face makeup appointment for the wrong day. They heard about the event and moved schedules around to fit me in. As if that wasn’t nice enough, I was blown away by the final result that the artist, Natalee, completed in less than half the time she usually gets! Everyone was so nice, thank you to the whole store.

Had the best 1hour custom make over with Tina. Her make up talents are beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Her knowledge about the products allows you to make the best decisions for your skin type. She made me look absolutely beautiful for a wedding. Would highly recommend her because not only will she do a great job on your make up, she is so sweet and hilarious! She makes you enjoy the hour with her. Definitely highly recommend Tina and Hingham Sephora!

Was there for 45 mins and no one greeted/ approached me. I have been here THREE times and every time they were chatting and ignored most of the customers (they selectively greeted people, which I was the person whom they ignored). I have never been treated so disrespectful in Sephora. Please be professional and take care of the customers as you are working at the store facing the customer.

At first I decided to give it a try after reading all the good reviews. I made an appointment for a very important event I was 10 mins late I mean I didn’t mind it the cut the 45 mins beauty time to 35 min since I was late. (I called ahead and the girl said it is fine). When I walked in there and told them I have an appointment they said oh unfortunately due to all the booking we can’t take you in. How rediculous? I’m pretty sure no one made an appointment during my time since there’s still 35 mins left. The workers where scattered around everywhere and there were barely any customers. So then I decided to test out there foundation and this one worker kept on staring at me like 6 times. I felt very uncomfortable.

I hope you have had different experiences in the business than I did.However, I experienced incompetent advice on face cream. The lady recommends everything she knows to me without actually looking for something I asked. Nevertheless, I bought a few Caudalie care products (I already know, so I love what I know) and when I went out I asked for news to try (as a last try - to give the shop a few plus points). I was assigned in a condescending tone that there is no such thing. To a tourist from Europe, it sounds like there are no testers in stores in all of MA, USA!So I asked in my naivety how you can try things out here. The answer can come back again abruptly and cheekily.Summary - Ill never go in there again!Arrived in a different shop and asked the same question - getting enough testers to try out, to collect new ideas for the next purchase.Good luck
