Worst service Ive experienced in a place i spend my money. The employees blatantly ignored me while I was waiting for help. The manager on duty noticed I was waiting and instead of acknowledging me continued to make me wait.I called customer service, after being ignored for 15 minutes and after calling the store i was standing in and watched my call be ignored. Customer service called the store as the manager on duty approached the desk. He answered the phone and told the customer service rep this is what you calling me for as if it was of no importance to him and hung up the phone. He then proceeded to address me by saying boss, you didnt see i was busy in the back completely unprofessional and not how you should communicate to a customer who was just wronged.The manager and staff then proceeded to retaliate against me for making a call to customer service by making me wait 1 hour to place a tire on a single rim. He then proceeded to charge me a different price then quoted over the phone 30 minutes prior. I also felt like this was retaliation.Im leaving this review because not only did i feel undervalued as a customer, I was disrespected, belittled and had my time wasted. I will not continue to patronage this business and any business that allows leadership to treat customers this way should not be supported.

The service was great Kendale was very respectful and helpful and John was extremely nice.

Gave it a 2 for staff friendliness. Everything else 1 star. Overall service was sloppy, carelessness and my directions were ignored. Let my car go out with PSI on tires of 54 and two 40. They left a lug nut off of 1 wheel. They told me 1 hour and it was a almost 4 hours. Lastly, they told me I needed a bunch of extra work. My mechanic did not agree. Only went to Mavis because of Amazon tire pricing. You can purchase tires through Amazon and select a Mavis for installation. Prices are unbeatable. However, the specific tire purchases would not allow me to choose more than 1 tire for the Hillside location. Had to make 4 purchases. Told manager and survey. Obvious a glitch with that specific item number. Overall, very disappointed...

My favorite Mavis location by far. The staff was so helpful and accommodating, especially Aquil. He was so nice and helpful. The customer service is amazing. The service on my vehicle was a 10/10. I 100% recommend everyone in the area to visit here when you need to!

Came in with one of my tires completely rotted out, the tire tech Justin Mentioned to me that the other tires where getting rotten and would go soon the same way. I told him I was in a rush for work and he ensured me it would get done in a timely matter and he stood on his word got me in and out ASAP and I made it to work on time, and the tires came out amazing kudos to Mavis and there team especially there Tec. Would recommend 100%

Mavis has way too many locations and failing to operate. They are always understaffed or they are so desperate, hiring mechanics that you dont want to let them touch to your car. Last time they made me wait for hours and when i asked how long, they said they dont know, the mechanic left the shop with his tools:) unbelievable.

Handled my flat tire quickly and properly. Would definitely go back.

Went for a wheel alignment, the mechanic does a front end inspection on my car and than he proceeded to do the wheel alignment. After completing the wheel alignment he tell me I need 2 lower tie rods. I ask him how could you do a alignment if my tie rods are bad. He then tells me he aligned up the front end but it will not last long because of the bad tie rods. He never told me anything or ask me if I wanted to have the tie rods replaced. Im given a bill for $ 142.00 for a alignment with bad tie rods. Now thats being screwed with no vaseline. Its been 7days and still no contact from management

Rhonda was really polite. She let me know I was going to be in and out since I was on my break I recommend going to this place. The staff works well with customers, definitely will be coming back.

Will and his staff are very courteous and helpful. Will took the time to explain all my cars issues and then helped me prioritize which issues need to be worked on right away, and which I could hold off on. The prices are good and all the services are done promptly.

A little bit of a wait, but other than that, service was good and they got the job done. Would I recommend it? Yes!

Went to this place 4 weeks ago for a oil change then was told by mechanic that my oil pan was rusted and needed to be changed then was called back 2 days later that they cut into my front control arms and had to be replace. A simple oil changed was now costing me 1500$ once I picked my jeep up I noticed while driving my vehicle started shaking when driving over 40 miles I returned to mavis they held my jeep for another 3 weeks just to return without fixing problem. They screwed my jeep up never use this place please stay away. I now how to take my vehicle to another shop and spend more money when the screwed up and they are unable to fix avoid this place at all costs

I have my truck serviced at Mavis all the time and Ive been very happy with the service they provide. The prices are reasonable compared to other service centers.

Joseph is a great service manager . He goes the extra mile for his customers . He has a wonderful staff . The company has reasonable prices and they will work with you. I will only bring my car here & nowhere else. I always look for Joseph because he always get the job done .

WORST AND POOREST SERVICE EVER. NEVER GO THERE.I hardly give review comment but the kind of abysmal service I received and saw other customers go through at the Hillside Mavis Discount Tires prompted me. The manager is interested in convincing customers to agree to their recommended repairs. In this Covid-19 pandemic, how many people will agree to $800 non-essential expenses? Yet, after I was totally ignored after the agreement. The initial 3 hours service time became 4.5. I told them to stop and give my car back since I was running late for work. The worst of the matter is this manager and workers do not communicate to you. I was so furious and spoke out my dissatisfaction, then the manager decided to give 50$ discount, knowing how poor their service had been. This is my last and never again will I visit any Mavis. They always pounding outrageous bills. You all need to avoid them. They deserve a zero instead

LAST TIME COMING HERE!I purchased two tires last year from this place. So this year I needed to replace the other two tires. I called and order a particular brand tires on Friday. I was given a price for everything, part and labor and was scheduled for Saturday since thats when the tires that I requested would be in.I got there at the exact time I scheduled but had to wait 2hrs for two tires to get replace. After all that they charged me a way higher price than what I was giving when I scheduled. I get to my car and notice that wasnt the tires that I ordered. The guy at the desk said theres nothing he can do and place is closing.

I came in as my car was making noise that I thought was my rear brakes. I had to be somewhere by 12:30 and it was almost 10 am. He said he could not get me and out in in time. Then after finding my brakes were under warranty he asked if I could wait 20 minutes and he would try to check the brakes. He did a quick check and found I needed front brakes soon and struts. My brakes were safe. He also gave me a quote on my tires that need replacement. In all Edwin and Shaun the mechanic stretched themselves to help a prior customer and make sure I was safe before I left. That is service. They found a way to make sure I was safe because they cared. Congratulations on such fine employees. The man at the desk who brought Edwin in to help me was also a great guy.

Price was really high I probably could’ve found a cheaper place if I did more research but I didn’t have time. I came to get 4 all season tires installed and a wheel alignment and they had my car for about 4 hours.

I called to set appointment to bring car for a wheel alignment,was told they would send a confirmation email with a refrence # to give when I get there. 2 min later they call to confirm Im coming in. I told them I was on my way and would be there in few minutes. When I get there and check in Im told theres an hour and a half wait.they have a very small waiting area no air conditioning when its 90 degrees outside. Then when the car finally got done the mechanic is trying to get me to put brakes on. My mechanic had already checked my car and told me I will need brakes soon but not right now. After refusing a brake job they went from brakes are low,they say brakes are scraping and ruining calipers. Fair warning if you go there ask if theres a wait, and make sure you know what your car needs and doesntIf I use Mavis for anything in future I will not go back to hillside.
