ABA has again surpassed my expectations for being my go to auto repair shop. Bryan and crew have done the maintenance on my vehicles for 10yrs and I have always been very satisfied with their work, honesty and pricing. This fall they just completed auto body work on my SUV after a minor accident. Jose did an excellent job replacing a door, trim, wheel and other items. The car came back to me like it was brand new. Bryan went the extra mile for me and handled the insurance paperwork and calls. The team did a fantastic job for this lady who has never had to worry when my car is at ABA!

Weve come to them twice now with different issues. Theyve always charged a reasonable price. And the part cost has what wed pay if we bought it ourselves. Its a family owned spot too. Theyve never lead us wrong or tried to take advantage.

I enjoy the environment. They have toys for tne kids, good coffee and candies to snack on. I know my car is in good hands so it makes bigger car bills pain free.

Been nice experience in past but last time very poor service. The communication on the phone was inaccurate, a repair plan was shared and amount was approved. Then before completion they mention one of the parts was not replaced as it wasnt available. When I go in the invoice mentions that part. I ask a few questions on that and what actually was done but no interest to answer nor can they be bothered to confirm with confidence what actually was the problem and the repair in any detail. When I get home I also notice the oil replacement tag mentions the wrong oil type for my car... but given how they behaved Im afraid to follow up.

I had Alot of work done here, bothe items they installed failed with in the first couple months. Had a new compressor put it in and it went out almost immediately. Tried to have warranty done at a different shop but ita not covered because aba did not install all new parts like whats required by the warranty company. Id would advise to stay away from this place.

They informed me that the previous shop was trying to over charge me for work my vehicle didnt even need. They saved me ALOT of money. This shop is always willing to check out my car for free, only suggesting a repair if its actually needed. I highly recommend them and have used their services several times over the last 5 years. The last time I went in, they told me the car didnt need anything and gave it back no charge. The owner is friendly and the prices seem fair. They will not generally install customer provided parts, so keep that in mind.

ABA was great. They were so friendly, even chipper. Andy was super nice and made me feel at home in the office. They had licorice and hot chocolate and I was able to get a lot of work done while I waited. But all of that is just icing. As for the service, they were super clear about what they were doing and with estimates of how much it would cost. It ended up being far less than I expected!I will definitely be back.

Ive never been told itll be done in an hour so many weeks in a row before, but they do fair work for a fair price. Ive been there multiple times and the work has always been quality and the price almost worth the wait.

These guys do great work and a fast turn around, too. Dropped car off on Friday afternoon for a reasonable amount of work to be done and it was ready Tuesday morning. Work is clean and everything works as it should.

I can not tell you how pleased I am with the service here, I came to them to have the window repaired on a car I just got. I was overwhelmed after being quoted insane prices by everyone else in town. Bryan prides himself on being honest, and he is. Ive been there at least once when he didnt charge me. I also recommended him to my dad, who went there, and he didnt get charged either for an easy fix. The most important quality I look for in a mechanic is honesty. Second most important is price, and this place takes the cake on both!I hesitated to write a review on here, because if this place gets too popular, it might be harder to get my car in. However, I feel I owe it to Bryan because hes always been so pleasant to go to.

It was a complicated story, but heres the short version:1. ABAs repair cost half the price the dealership quoted. Result seems solid so far.2. I paid exactly what ABA said in the estimate3. Mistakes were made, but I believe they were honest mistakes, and they went out of their way to make them right, probably losing money in the process4. They had the opportunity to treat me as a one-time customer and really monetize my situation, but instead chose to finish the job at the original estimate and prioritize the long-term relationship with their customer.5. I would recommend ABA and will be back for future work, if needed.

I absolutely love this place! Never thought Id say that about a mechanic! Bryan is great, hes very genuine. Hes not trying to rip you off or make some extra money off you. He only does the work that really needs to be done, and the prices are great too. Ill never go to a different mechanic as long as I live.

Brian is a top quality manager. He literally set up small payment plans with me after replacing my transmission. Hes a soft spoken, caring, HONEST guy. His crew know their stuff and they accommodate with Top Gear on their television.

They are trustworthy, they know their stuff, dont try to oversell, and stand behind their work.

Ive dealt with my share of mechanic and auto shops so Ive learned a thing or two regarding quality of work, cost, and customer service. Its starts with great customer service, Amanda who runs the front desk will not disappoint, polite, prompt and professional, I really enjoyed my experience with herIf those qualities are what you want, look no further than ABA Auto. ABA was recommended by a co-worker and they are now my mechanic of choice. Best prices in town and no BS. I called for a quote and they got back to me within an hour with a cost that could NOT be beat ( Electric window motor replacement). The work was excellent and I felt valued as a customer.

They may not be the fastest shop but the best shop in town. Great prices great. I drive over 40 miles to have them do my work because I know they stand behind everything thing they do.

ABA was referred to me from a friend who said they were awesome. I could not agree more. They are a small operation so if youre self centered and think the world revolves around you and you expect they do work for free or update you every hour.... Move on. Youre not there only customer whose car needs help. Its not unreasonable to think a mechanic needs to be compensated to diagnose your car. Do you expect a surgeon to waive the office visit to tell you that you need your appendix removed? Some people are too much. If you want an honest friendly and reputable mechanic ABA is amazing.

This is the only place anyone should ever take their cars. Brian (owner) is amazing from start to finish. Honest, humble, extremely hard working. You wont find anyone better. The team there knows exactly what they are doing and are extremely affordable. We had a pre purchase inspection done and they got us in same day that we called, courteous, professional and the owner himself called us with inspection report. Made it so easy! Emailed us report and estimate of repairs needed. We highly recommend this mechanic.

Nothing but great experience. Ive had a couple cars fixed by ABA and most recently a new engine in my older durango. Brian is a great person, fair and honest. His staff is extremely knowledgeable and willing to share even if they dont fix it.

Their mechanic is a rock star. He fixed a difficult engine issue on our Ford Expedition that nobody else wanted to deal with. I guess this is why ABA is having so many good reviews.

After moving to Portland, my AC started acting up so alas, I needed to find a new mechanic. After a bit of Yelping, I settled up ABA and am quite happy I did. They got me in the morning I called and were quick to fix the problem. They seem very honest and genuine and Id happily being my car back here the next time it needs a repair!

I moved up here from Utah and was looking for an auto shop I could trust as a college student with limited auto knowledge, and a female who frequently gets ripped off and upcharged in mechanic shops. This is definitely the place! Its out of the way for me, but worth it. Friendly family run business, they always give honest advice on work that needs to be done and prices are reliable. Theyll even offer rides back to work within reasonable distance for those who dont have someone to pick them up.My tribeca was totalled after moving up here, had to fly back to Utah to get a new Subaru and we called this shop for advice. Theyve been helpful for both cars and Ill continue going back!

I took my 05 Subaru Forester in to get my alignment done. I also got a new power steering pump in because mine was leaking apparently.( Im fairly certain that it was just a scam.) The next day I start up my car and it made this terrible nails on a chalkboard screeching noise. So my dad and I popped the hood up to figure out was wrong. It turns out the geniuses installed the belt tensioner adjustment wrong so that it was rubbing against the power steering pulley, they also didnt get all the pieces back in and they didnt screw everything back in tightly. Also they charged me $200 for a rebuilt power steering pump, when I could get a NEW one for $110. Needless to say I am never going back.

ABA came highly recommended from a former mechanic that took care of my cars. I would say their work is good based on his recommendation. However their customer service and communication needs improvement. I made an appointment for 8am. I arrived at 805am and within 20 minutes they looked at my car which I truly appreciated. After the initial look, they asked if they could keep the car longer and would call me back I said that would be fine. I did not receive a phone call so I decided to call them at 4pm. They had not looked at my car and were going to in the next 10 minutes. I spoke to Amanda their receptionist and told her they were closing at 5pm. She mentioned we stay open until all jobs are done. I also asked her that I didnt get an estimate on my car. She told me there is a fee of $99.75 for the inspection. I asked her if that would be taken off form the work. She said no and that all work would be additional. I told her I wish I was informed of this before I dropped my car off. I finally got a call back at 530pm and the owner I assumed apologizing as they cant fix it tonight, can they keep it until tomorrow morning. What else could I say but yes. So I asked when would it be ready, he said tomorrow morning. I said fine. 8am, 9am, 10am, rolls around and no call. I call them at 10am and again spoke to Amanda and she said they would call me back. I got a call back at 1030am letting me know they needed to order a part which would not arrive until 2pm. But the car would be ready at 3pm. I said okay. 3pm rolls around and again I have to call them. Amanda tells me they just put my car on the rack. At this point, I was not happy. I asked her the ETA and she said she didnt know. So I asked her an hour, 2 hours? She said she would let the mechanic call me. They called me in half an hour and said it should be ready in 20 minutes. We arrived and the owner asked if we had to get our DMV stickers today. I said no and he said we had so many people wait last minute today so we were so busy. The owner did account for $99.75 as labor for the work.They had my car 2 days for a 1 hour job. No phone calls to keep me up to date on what was happening and Amanda was quite rude and didnt know much about what was happening to my car. I would hope that they can work on this.

Great service

Went to Les Schwab for a tire repair and they quoted me over $580 for bad tie rods. Ended up taking it to this place and approved the tie rod repair. This shop looked over my vehicle and said that no tie rod repair was needed and did not charge me for the tie rod repair. They could have easily done the repair since I approved the work ahead of time based on Les Schwabs false diagnoses. This is pretty impressive. I also approved a $300 repair for my truck on 7 gasgets that were to be replaced to fix an oil leak. Once they got in there they just tightened things up and saw the gasgets were fine. I only paid $90 for the time they invested and didnt have to pay for a gasget job. They could have easily charged me $300, but they didnt. Very impressive again. You should consider rewarding this company with your business to encourage this type of honesty. The public needs this kind of service since the general public does not know a great deal about fixing cars. Trust is a big deal in this business.

Great prices, honest people, some times alittle busy but thats what you get when your good at what you do.

Came in for regular maintenance on Honda civic (timing belt, tensioner, cam seals, water pump). Damaged alternator and then tried to make me pay for it. Had a certified mechanic and several other DIY guys take a look at alternator - stated only possibility for how it was damaged was by ABA (when removing and trying to put back on). Told ABA they had to pay for it - they readily agreed because they KNEW it was their fault. Then when paying they proceeded to insult and berate me stating they had no respect for me. Worst experience ever. Will probably have another mechanic take a look at vehicle to ensure work done correctly. Waste of time and money.
