Do not go here!! This place is the biggest rip off ever. Take your vehicle and money elsewhere. They will keep your vehicle for over 6-7month and keep making up excuses to why its not repaired. And tell you all sorts of things to make you pay more money. Even when you do pay more money, they will tell you its a different problem. Had to take the owner, Tony to court for the possession of the vehicle. Its not honest or knowledgeable mechanics here, that will give you the right repair for your vehicle. I dont want anyone to go through what we went through. It was awful

We took my steps mom car here, it was for warranty work on her transmission. She dropped it off in February and up until today. They told her many times they was working on getting it into the shop, then start telling her it was leaking fluid. We had someone go and make sure they car was still there after being told someone drove it home. The person we sent called us and told us their was no fluids leaking from the car, and it was left unlocked in the parking lot. Now we trust the person who told us they was lying seeing how he works on cars in his free time and went to school for it. She went today and took her back, it wasnt even moved. They never even drove it home. Their was no gas missing, and after being left unlocked she had enough. Now after being without her car for almost 4 months she still has to find somewhere else to fix it after they lied and made excuses every time she called and went by. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THEM FOR TRANSMISSION WORK!

Trusted place with my vehicles. I have known the owner for years always treated me and my family right. His knowledge of all types of automobiles is exceptional and I would never consider giving my business to anyone else.

I dont know who the positive reviewers are. For a transmission shop they know nothing about a transmission. They did not fix our vehicle and held it for over a month. We did not trust them and took it somewhere else. What they said they fixed, they never touched and only messed it up more.This place is truly incompetent at fixing vehicles. Owner is a joke.

Took my car here for him to put a new sensor in my transmission. He told me $650.00 called me back the next day and said now it was going to be $900.00, They had to keep the ca longer, went and got the car three days later. He doesnt take the debit card had to go and the cash and come back. My husband drove the car to work called me on his way home and said he had to stop and put in 7 quarts of transmission fluid it was bone dry. The next day the same thing he was on his way to work car started acting funny he pulled into fast fuels and looked he said the car was pouring out transmission fluid, he put in 5 quarts and came home I took the car back to A1 and told them it was leaking, he said okay leave it when I went back to get it he said one of my hoses broke that what the leak was I knew that was not true. Car was still leaking had to take it somewhere else and pay $198.00 for them to correct the work A1 did and messed up. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN, DO NOT LET THEM RIP YOU OFF.

They hired a mechanic that wasnt licensed.. He fixed on my car and blew or fried my engine....the owner never is available... My hubby took back to them twice... Unfortunately they allowed the wrong man to work on my vehicle I want justice and Im going to get it... I dont have a problem taking this to court or calling the news crew... Funny thing is they came across as pleasant when they wanted my money... Now you cant get Tony on the phone and all of a sudden everyone to busy to answer the phone... You can ignore folks forever... I wouldnt recommend this place to my enemy

This is a place that I wouldnt recommend to any body please dont pay upfront is you pay upfront count on have your car for long time sitting at their parking lot whiteout even thinking about fixing it. They will avoid answer the phone Im so disappointed with this people. One more thing if they tell you the car is ready please test it before you pay them they will get the money and thats how you will get stuck when you go to the car and find out that is not running good they will keep your money iand the car and you will be a long time without having any car to drive

Wow I really like this place.Their 1st impression was anything you could ask in your local auto mechanic.The people are sweet,the service is fast, and the prices are just right!

Attention High Point and surrounding cities...do not and I repeat do not take your car here to get serviced. In August of 2014, I made the worst decision of my life by taking my wifes Honda Odyssey there to have the transmission repaired. We have since taken it back there 3 times (because it is all under warranty) to repair what they could not fix the times before. The last time they kept the car from Thanksgiving of 2015 to the end of January 2016, saying they were waiting on parts. And now again, the transmission has gone out. I have called and called to speak to Tony the owner but he refuses to talk to me or call me back. I will NOT take my car back to them to repair and I recommend you do not either because they have no idea what they are doing.Here is the kicker and I should have looked here first...they have a D+ rating on The Better Business Bureau.

HORRIBLE!!!! Wish I dont even have to give it a star. They keep you car forever and dont even fix it. After returning it several times for the warranty I finally took it to another transmission place. They said there is absolutely NO indication my transmission has been rebuilt. It appears they have tried to just patch things up here and there. Charged me for a full rebuild that NEVER occurred.

Please stay away from Tony he is the owner and the biggest crook ever. I am going to report him to the DMV inspector he makes you pay CASH and phucks you over after the car isnt fixed. I must have checked on my car 20 times and every time nothing but an excuse oh the new valve is coming my guy is driving it to make sure its ok bull crap! After its all said and done your car still has transmission and you are out $1200. This place needs tone shut down immediately by the city/state!!

Worst Auto Service experience in my life. They keep telling me days that my car will be finished and then when I call them on that day they tell me it still isnt ready. My car has been with them for over 2 weeks now. Their turn around time and garuntees are the worst Ive seen. Never would I consider going back here for anything.

Do not come here for any of your car needs!! Please do not! We took 3 cars here and they cant not fix any one of them but yet still will KEEP your money ! . Lazy people owner is rude and horriable service. Do not recommend to my worst enemy..

I cant even give them a star - I took my car there for a rebuild of my transmission, have had it back there many, many times for at least a week at a time they had my car. All because my transmission will not stop leaking now and I continually get a warning light. I believe the total time they have had my car is over 2 months. And my car still isnt right. Headed to the media next.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE Absolutely the worst Transmission and Auto Repair Shop. Poor communication, terrible work and work ethic, dishonest and all around completely awful business in general. It took 6 months and constant phone calls and visits to get my car back....which then failed 2 months later. Never fully reimbursed for the rental car they agreed to pay for during the last 5 weeks they had my vehicle. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE

My car still has transmission issues after they fixed it made me pay Cash and told me 1 year warranty so I took it back and they held my car for nearly 4 months and told me they were waiting for parts this and that run around..

This place ripped me off charged me 3x what the parts were and 3x on the labor and kept my car for 3 wks. Dont take your here.

I had the worst experince of my life with A1. I wasted a lot of money paying them to rebuild my transmission, only to have to go out again. Their warranty is this: after we have your money, you bring your car back to us and we will let it sit in our parking lot (unlocked because we have so many break-ins) and with the battery dead. If you call to inquire why it has taken over a month to fix your car, we will string you along each time you call. Tony is never available to speak with you. Once they said it was in the garage being worked on that very moment. I rode by and there it sat, battery dead, not having moved for more than a month. They are liars and crooks. Do yourself a favor and take your car ANYWHERE else!

The absolute worst auto repair experience I have ever encountered! Do not allow these people to touch your bicycle, less much your car.

Its a hometown shop, either trust them or NOT, never done me wrong! i know cars...in by 2pm out at 530pm, like told, I chose to be lazy! (not do it my self) and will tell friends about. My only complaint is, they bought a thermostat gasket free of charge.
