Larry Spates gets 10 stars for his effort to get me in to see and purchase this vehicle less than 24 hours after it had been on the lot. I would highly recommend getting down there to get yours FAST if they call you because I had to compete with a few guys who wanted the car at the same time

Has had my daughter’s car as part of a recall for 7!!!! Weeks now. Cannot get any answers as no one will bother to call me back from the actual service department. There have been some very nice people who have tried their best to get answers but they also seem to be stymied when it comes to getting any answers on my daughter’s vehicle. I was told 5 weeks. Then I was told it was going in the shop. Then I was told it was 2-3rd to go in the shop a week later. Now I can’t get anyone to call me back so my only resort is to physically walk into the dealership and wait to get answers. This should not happen!!! So irritating and frustrating! This was our first Kia and it will definitely be our last. *** edit.. we were finally able to get in contact with Kia after this. The people we spoke to were very nice and I did advise them of my frustrations of lack of communication. Her vehicle was fixed (due to the recall) and we haven’t had any issues. They did apologize for the lack of communication and frustration.

This was an extremely great experience. I drove to Carolina Kia specifically to see this pre-owned Toyota Camry. There were no photos available online, only description, as the car had just been traded in. Luckily I ran into Gary Mitchell. Initially we could not find the car, but Gary kept on pursuit. I was asked to take a seat while he searched. Not long after he found it, he drove it up for me to see. I test drove it and didnt take long for me to know I couldnt pass it up. One of my 2 careers has been in transportation, in which I have over 23 years. I can tell a lot about a vehicle within minutes of driving it. I have owned the car about 2 weeks now. I am very pleased with, not only my purchase, but also with the entire experience at Carolina Kia and Mr Gary Mitchell. Gary was not only professional and knowledgeable, but I was impressed with how he makes you feel that you have a friend. This is an Auto dealership I can definitely recommend.

Horrible experience at the service department. Brought Sorrento in to have it looked at due to warning light regarding the air bag. Was told $129.00 diagnostic fee but if we did repair there it was waived. Well Darryl - from the service department called - told us the repair would be $119.00 We were kind of surprised at the low cost but happy it was not going to cost a ton to fix. Well we were in for a shock b/c it was NOT $119.00 but rather $1019.00. Lesson for us if we are surprised at the price of something we maybe should confirm it. And maybe ask for something in writing regarding actual price. At this point it was a he said she said. Darryl was adamant he said $1019.00 and we knew there was NO WAY we would have authorized a repair for that cost as it was not impacting the driving of the car. It was also IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to return a call regarding repair. They had car from Friday afternoon and we didnt get the car back until Wednesday. We were told there were issues getting the part which is fine but the lack of response was very frustrating. This was on top of a poor experience in the past buying said Sorrento. We ended up purchasing it at a DIFFERENT Kia dealership due to shady practices by the finance guy at the time. We have NO plans to use this dealership EVER again.

We purchased a new Kia for sticker price of 32,950 and the next day after reviewing the paperwork we discovered they charged us 33,950. said it was an upcharge for lack of inventory but yet they didnt itemize the numbers showing this . Watch out, this dealership will rip you off.

This is an unsolicited review, but I was so thrilled with how well my experience with Eric Starrett went that I really wanted to share it with the world.Eric responded promptly to my web query about a new Stinger, working on a Sunday evening and Memorial Day to come back to me with a REAL offer, competitively priced, and without a lot of garbage fees and add-ons other dealers throw in.When I arrived, I was treated with respect and friendliness, given a chance to test drive the car to my hearts content, and then taken through an incredibly smooth transaction with no surprises.I cannot recommend this dealer highly enough! Were to start? Motor blow in my 2014 Kia Optima. Went round and round with service department,was a recall on the motor, 70000 miles on motor. Bought car new there in 2014. No rental car for the month that it took to get my car back. Service dept did the minimum they could do, said it was a Kia problem, not a dealership problem. Bob King Kia in Winston-Salem helped more with the questions I had and offer solutions, and even offered to fix the car if I could get it towed there. Was told by high point they would cover the tow to their shop but when I went to pick up the car said they couldnt help because they had already filed the claim. Still trying to get tow bill paid by Kia. Asked about warranty on motor, was told 12 months or 12000 miles. Which doesnt even get to the 100000 miles that Kia covers. If anyone is considering buying a Kia, I would recommend buying one from Bob King Kia in Winston-Salem, a company who stands by what they are selling. If could have gave negative stars they would have got them. Worse service department Ive ever dealt with. Couldnt even run it through the car wash before I picked it up.

When I arrived, I was treated with respect and friendliness, I drove to Carolina Kia specifically to see this Burgundy Nissan Altima. There were photos available online, luckily me, I test drove it and didnt take long for me to know whether I wanted it or not I couldnt pass it up. I am very pleased with my purchase, the entire purchase with Akan Davis was extremely easy going, an incredibly smooth transaction with no surprises. Akan was not only professional and knowledgeable, but I was impressed with how he made me feel, he’s a down to earth guy, He went above and beyond to make sure things were good with my purchase. I purchased my vehicle here and it has been a nightmare ever since.The vehicle has broken down twice in less than 60 days and left me stranded. Have had the vehicle checked there and both times was told nothing wrong with the car and charged me when the car still has warranty. Decided to take to Greensboro Kia Dealership and Greensboro Kia was able to identify the problem and fix my car no charge since having warranty. Went back to this dealership to show proof vehicle had problems and to reimburse me for the charges and was told they were not able to return my money.

I have been there twice for service. Darrell is the most rude service person I have ever met. The first time he told me it would be an hour and I decided to wait. He kept trying to talk me out of waiting and was rude about it. Today I went and he said it would be 2 hours. My husband and I decided to wait since we are off work this weekWhen we decided to wait, Darrell became rude and said Dont get angry at me if it takes 2 hours. We already knew that and was willing to wait but after those rude remarks and poor attitude we left. Dont want to teach my grandchildren that is okay. BTW, my husband was going to look at a new car but decided that dealership was not the place. Buy somewhere else if you want good service.

I had a great experience with Steve Holt and Carolina Kia. Fair deal and great car with really good safety features for my family. I would recommend Steve to anyone, he knows his stuff and he worked late to help us when I arrived later than I wanted for my test drive. We wanted a good deal on last years model vs a new 2021 and he was respectful of our preferences and helped us get the exact car we wanted. Purchased my 2020 Soul X-Line on 5/1/2020 from Carolina Kia. I received a great deal and the overall buying experience was fantastic. On 10/17/2020, I took my car in for its first service under the scheduled maintenance. This took roughly an hour to complete as there was also a software update for the IVT computer. The facilities at the dealership were clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. I will return here for my service needs.

I came here because of questionable service at another KIA dealership. While the people here are more customer centered the challenge is getting in for something as simple as an oil change. It is easier to schedule an appointment with my doctor. They still get a4 though as they do only needed service and have shown to be an honest service department.

I had a great car buying experience here when purchasing my new 2021 Kia Telluride. I initially called and spoke to Sagar Patel who was very friendly and professional. I called about the vehicle and trim I wanted and he found what I wanted and was not pushy at all like some other places I have been. He kept me up to date and informed throughout the whole process while I was waiting for delivery of my vehicle. While waiting for my vehicle to arrive another one came in earlier than anticipated and he notified me and instead of waiting an extra month I got it earlier. When I went in to do my paperwork for my vehicle it was a seamless process. Guadeloupe in finance was also friendly and professional handling the paperwork. After purchasing my vehicle Sagar took the time to explain all safety features of my vehicle, which was very important coming from a much older vehicle. I was impressed by his knowledge of the vehicle and he answered all my questions. I know if I ever have any questions or concerns I can just give him a call. Overall I would definitely recommend Carolina Kia/Hyundai to anyone.

Can not obtain registration or plates over 3 months later, and no refund yet for “service warrantee”. Which, by the way, they were aggressively and uncomfortably pushy about. The website says theyre open until 8:00 p.m. but all of their service technicians are gone before 6. Whoever I spoke with was very nice and offered me local options and suggestions to fix a nail in my tire at 5:45 so if I need work done, I will be returning to this Kia dealership and not others in the area because they were at least helpful with recommendations while others were not.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! You have contarnished the Kia name.Not Recommend! I love my sorrento but after the poor service work received on my Kia, i can help be wonder if poor service is part of the Kia trademark. I took my SUV. for servicing. I wanted it checked, serviced. They found two recalls, repaired the rear driver door, and charged the oil. Soon after, the oil change turned into an oil leak. Tried reaching the serivce department and left several messages (no one ever answers the phone) eventually, the calls are picked up at the Hyundai dealership and your transferred to a voice mail. Finally after multiple calls i reached soneone that transferred me to an actual person. I was told the technican did not crush the washer and it was the cause of the leak. It would be fixed. Additionally, im told i needed a new gasker on the oil pan. Guess changing the oil while servicing the vehicle did not uncover the leave. Im then told the cost would be $200 for labor, gasket and oil change!!!The Sorrento began leaking again. After several attempts i received a return call. Now Im told $239 and it did not include the oil change. I am expected to pay for another oil change and $239 when the problem should have been resold with a crush washer? Really!!!The oild leak was caused by the technican and i am expected to reward the dealership by paying for a mysterious oil leak that my SUV DID NOT HAVE when i initially took it to Carolina KIA? Is this your way of causing fear so i would trade in for a new vehicle? Its not happening. While i love my Kia, i would buy anther brand before i trade in my vehicle and/or deal with this or any Kia dealership.Shame on you for damaging my oil pan, causing a leak you wont own up to and expecting me to pay for additional services.NOT RECOMMENDED AS A GO-TO KIA SERVICE CENTER OR A PLACE YOU SHOULD TRUST.

Three-four months ago I bought my third car from Alan Pope at Carolina Kia. At the time I was in love and believed this would be the prefect car. However as time went on I realized the car I purchased was a bit small and caused some serious anxiety while driving. I had no idea what I would do. I got in touch with Alan to give me some options. Once again I was given multiple options that were very appealing. I decided to go with an Optima. To now this has been an amazing car, I feel safe comfortable and the price surprised me for the amount of car I got. In a great way. Incredibly misleading and unhelpful. I saw they had the 2020 Kia Soul that I wanted advertised online for $21K so I drove 1.5 hours only to get there and have them tell me it’s $25K and did not at all care to try and work with us on a lower price if we didn’t want to finance through them, even though I already had a loan in place and was willing to pay on the spot. I wasted a total of 3 hours for them to only give me 15 minutes of their time. If I could give 0 stars, that would be a more accurate representation of their worth as a dealership.

Bought a used Soul last December and although i appreciate the salesman finding me a loan in the end of an exhausting day i felt well over charged in the final price. Then within 2 months i noticed a sqeeking sound from the tire, kia mechanic looked it was a bad strut mount, would cost nearly $300 to fix! Didnt have any warrenty but i feel like they could have worked with me on a better price since Id just got the car from them 60 days prior. I dont think i will ever go back there. I expected better from a dealership.

Roderick the salesman did not waste my time on needless close to MSRP figures. They went to the bottom line very fast for me and got in between wholesale and retail. So I was very happy with how fast they went from MSRP. That to me tells a thousand reasons why to come back. This is an updated review I bought a car a year ago from Roderick. My new 2019 Kia Forte lxs has been a awesome purchase. I am getting about 44.5 miles to the gallon with highway driving. And about 43.2 in varied driving. And in City about 39.8mpg. It is a very comfortable car that does not feel like a subcompact. Also tends to hug curves and provide steady traction on rain-soaked roads with its ESC. Lots of room for gear in the trunk. Excellent safety features for the price of a used car. I now have 25000 miles. Totally happy with my purchase from High Point Kia. Had a little trouble with service there but I think they have improved a great deal that department. So I will give them another try soon and let you know on service.

I visited several local dealerships until frankly I was tired of shopping for a car. Then I went to Carolina KIA and met Gary. I have never liked car salesman, but Gary was very different, he was rather refreshing. Gary was not pushy he was honest and truly seemed to care. He spent several days with phone calls back and fourth until we got to drive away in our new car, it was exactly what we wanted, the right color the right features and suprisingly the right price. I will recommend everyone to visit Gary at Carolina KIA.

I took my Rio to them to have my badly beaten up key fob replaced. Honestly, we had a small communitcation issue at first but, were all human and make a mistake once in a while! They more than made up for it and I am very satisfied. If my Rio needs more work done, Ill definitely give them a call!
